Office Expl. Survey Nov. 1858. Map from the Senate Ex Doc No 1 and House Ex Doc No 2 of the 2nd Session of the 35th Congress. The map is about 17 by 18 inches. The troop explorations shown include many in Texas. The Rocky Mountains, Florida, and the West Coast. Routes to and from the east coast are included. The condition is normal for this map and includes browning along the fold lines which is typical for this map for some reason. There are miss-folds. Especially in the middle. There are two old tape repairs to the back, one affecting the front of the map below and to the right of the title box area.
