I don’t like to always say this, but it resembles a piece from Horner although I don’t believe it to be made by Horner. It is certainly a high-end quality piece. It has an extra heavily 1.25 bevel edge mirror that swivels and is in good condition. The mirror is wrapped around by a solid brown mahogany frame with carvings all the way around, rope twist going up and the very top corners having angels carved in both sides. The base has a beautiful rose quartz bevel edge marble top. The miniature knobs on the base look like miniature doorknobs.

The original metal hardware is present on the drawers and is quite ornate and beautiful. The mirror will sit higher in reality than it appears in the photos. It was not attached when photographed. The finish on the mirror is in great condition, with only a few exceptionally light surface scratches and dings to it. There is one tiny little chip in the bottom of the mirror frame at the front center.

This high quality dresser has early dove-tailed construction on the dresser base top up under the marble and also on the drawer ends; and an old label with an original owners name handwritten with Chicora, SC written below on the base up under the marble.
