This early style kerosene burner combination navigation light with Fresnel lenses made by the National Marine Lamp Co. of New York. This lamp was made prior to 1912 since after that date National Maritime were marked with a patent date of 1912 or used the trade name“Triplex” This is an early example since the company was founded in 1906. This lamp is most suitable for someone seeking this shielded design of which only a few have survived. It has a great deal of character and a wonderfully warm patina. THE MAKER: National Marine Lamp Co. According to Anthony Hobson's Lanterns that Lit our World, Book 2 was started in 1906 operating from Pear St. in New York City. ... moreIt brought the burner shop Bristol Brass in Forestville, CT in 1911. National Marine bought from Bristol Brass, so similarities in the products are to be expected. This was used in conjunction with another one to signal to other ship captains that the ship was not moving and not under active command of anyone. This has a great patina! This has what appears to be the original light socket and looks to be in good condition- but I'm no expert. There was once another tag welded to the top of this lantern. But probably removed when the current tag was placed. The glass lense is not cracked and the red insert looks good as well. This offering is for an Antique Kilborn Sauer Fairfield. Conn(marked on the red glass lens) Red Lens Port Side Boat Running Lamp. This early Nautical Boat Light/Lamp/Lantern is in very good. Yet rough condition, the red heavy glass lens is in excellent condition(just a little dirty)no chips or cracks. See pictures to assess for yourself the condition of this rare maritime collectible. The Lens door secures tightly and their is no looseness to the lens or to any of the housing-very well made. I am including a small metal oil burner that is obviously not the original. I believe the paint over the galvanized metal housing is original, but don't know for sure. It measures 9" tall to the top of the ring and 7" across the front from corner to corner. HUGE Brass Nautical Spot Light / Daylight Signaling Lamp Nautical Salvage

You are bidding on the great nautical spot light shown above. This is a huge brass nautical spot light/ daylight signaling light. Weighing in at 80 pounds and standing 27 inches tall as shown in the photo to the left. The base mount is 10 inches wide and has 6 mount holes. The shutter work freely using the side handle. This light was made in Japan in 1974 and recovered in the fall of 2012 at the ship breakers of Alang Indian. The front window is plexiglass and shows a little wear but has no cracks or holes. The light tilts up and down and spins almost all the way around on the base mount. This light was found with a 1000 watt ... morebulb. The voltage stamped on the side of the light is unreadable. But most of the others we have ever found showed the voltage to be 110 volts. We have not re-wired this light, so it has the original wiring that has not been tested for safety or function. The bulb originally had some sort of adjustment that was controlled by the knob by the power cord. This knob is no longer turns, so the bulb is fixed in the same position unless you take the time to sort this out. The front shutter housing is held in place by four rods and wings nuts. One of the four rods is broke, but the housing is held in place just fine with the three remaining holders(see photos) We recommend re-wiring if you plan of lighting this monster up! This is a hard to find item and it displays very nice! If you do not want to ship this items. It can be picked up at our Pauline South Carolina Warehouse. Nautical Lamp Handcrafted Ship Wheel with Lighthouse Clock great for Boat Cabin
This lamp was handcrafted by my husband who is a licensed electrician. The base of it is made of Teak Wood trimed in decorative cord. The ships wheel part is made of silver colored metal and has a battery operated clock in it(1 AA included) The picture in the center is of the Point Judith Light House in RI. It has a blue fabric shade also trimed in decorative cord. The base of the lamp has two screw holes just slightly under the cord for permanent mounting in the cabin of a boat. Would also be great in a little boys sailor themed room or even at a beach house. It is 15 1/2 inches from the base to the top of the shade. 3 Cast Brass Vintage Nautical Wall Mount Bulkhead Lights - RED GREEN CLEAR

You are bidding on the three piece set of original cast brass wall mounted bulkhead lights shown in the above photos. These lights measure about 8 1/2 inches from the top of the wall mount to the bottom of the cage. The wall mount measures 4 inches wide and has founr mount holes. The globes are glass and in good condition. The red one has a little pitting on one side that can be turned to the back so you do not see it. Each light in this set weighs over 3 pounds. You can access the bulb area by unscrewing the cage and globe as one piece. All three cages screw on and off with little ... moreeffort. Each light has been totally rewired with all new UL-Listed parts rated for any voltage of 250 volts or less. The new bulb holder takes a normal screw in house bulb of 50 watts or less. The new wires exit the light from inside the wall mount. This light can be used inside or outside, it will never rust! This is a used light that was recovered during one our many different salvage operations. It will have minor surface wear and patina from being used on a working vessel. If you have questions. Pair Vintage Copper Brass NEPTUNE NR Ship Lantern Lamp Nautical Maritime Cage NR
This auction is for a pair of vintage NEPTUNE NR copper and brass ship oil lamp lanterns. These lamps are in EXCELLENT estate found condition with a stunning and even patina. They are beautifully crafted from copper and brass and secured with a chain and hook in the front. These lanterns both have a badge at the top with the Neptune hallmark and NR. All of the glass is in beautiful condition(with the exception of some dust from being displayed) The globe inside is also in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The oil lamp inside is secured to a metal wire that stays in place by sliding down two opposing corners inside. And sits very securely inside with no wobble. I do not know the age of the lanterns, and have seen only a few similar, but most of then have all brass cages(die to the reddish tint I do believe this is mostly copper) ... moreor have been polished. None have been found also with this exact badge in the same place and this stunning copper patina with the reddish copper undertones that almost glow through. This has not been cleaned or polished, but I'm sure would polish up nicely if the buyer wishes to do so. Each lantern stands 15"high without handle, and 17 1/2" tall with handle, by approx 7"wide. RARE Vintage Lantern Light Buoy Piling Ship Anchor Dock Nautical Galv. Brass
Up for auction today is vintage nautical lantern. Different people call these types by such names as; buoy. Piling, master head, anchor, or dock lantern/ light. I am not sure of the proper name or use for this lantern. Can you inform me? It measures 17 ½” tall. The bottom is 8” in diameter, the top is 7 ½” in diameter, the lens is 4 ¾” tall(the exposed portion) and the lens is approx 5” in diameter. The lens is a dark ruby red and I see no cracks or chips. The body is galvanized metal with the rings. Latching hardware and the top ring of bottom portion being made of brass. There is a makers mark on the inside but some is missing and I cannot tell by what I can read who the maker is. Do you know? I assume that it was battery operated but there is no battery or wiring that is visible. I did not take the top portion apart and ... moredo not know if there is a bulb inside. The one photo that shows the lens bright was held up to the sun. The lantern is in good overall condition with some oxidation and rust as shown. Today for your consideration we have a Beautiful Ship Nautical Oil/Kerosene Hang Lantern with five panels of glass(2 Red and 2 Green and 1 clear) incase in Brass with Port and Starboard embossed on each side respectively. Has a handle on the top to hang. And on the bottom it fits into slots to hold a kerosene or oil with wick. Top opens. There are no nicks or chips in the glass but some loss to color on the red and green see photos. Extremely great piece and would be great in your home for lighting or patio or boat. Air holes in the base for oxygen. Very large it measures 12 and 1/4" tall.
