Neither has the interior oil lamp and I have been told that just about any small metal wide bottom oil lamp can be used. Both lanterns have their original thick heavy clear lens and these are in excellent condition. We were told these came off of a 1940's sail ship. Perko Navigational lights in solid brass cases. These sadly have been painted and will need full restoration including wiring. The red globe has some chipping only visible from inside or the very bottom left corner from the outside. The green globe has no chipping. Both globes and cases have scratching and scuffing throughout from years of use and poor storage. Some paint smeers on the globes as shown. NO cracks. just chips. Huge vintage Pauluhn Nautical Pier lights. stamped- cat no. 1453 Great Nautical heavy duty design. Believed to be solid brass- Will not stick to a magnet. These are mounted to bases manufactured by- Kenilworth N.J. and read Suitable for wet locations. We have not attempted to clean or polish these at all. One of the red or off red glass globes has 6 chips on its fins which are hard to notice because of the large size. The other red globe which is a slightly different tone then the other has only one chip on a fin. Both globes have some minor flea biting on the fins and scratching/ wear throughout from age and outdoor use. The brass or metal has scratching scuffing etc. and one of them has a little chunk missing shown in photograph# 3. These will need a detailed cleaning and restoration of all wiring before they can be used. Vintage nautical Ship sconces lights Maritime Heavy Glass Brass Rare Beautiful
A very rare and beautiful pair of brass ship nautical Wall sconces. They could have been originally oil lights and converted to electric but I have no idea. They are made of heavy brass roughly 8lbs each with heavy steel bases. They are roughly 15 1/2" straightened up. The base or wall mount is 5 1/2" round as the same as the heavy glass bowl beneath the light. They are both are made to move which ever position you desire sideways. Up, down, etc. Just loosen the bolt and retighten. There is one bolt missing and there was another replaced. They are in exceptional condition with no breaks or repairs. As you can see in my picture the wall mount bases there is a slight discoloration which is very hard to see. The glass is very thick and it looks like one is a shade darker than the other and possibly one is greenish and the other is ... morereddish or darker green. They are both the same shape as also the lamps. They are identical. Don't know if because of the light over the years made one a bit darker than the other. Very hard to find these nautical sconces. The other lantern has an upper and lower chamber with clear lenses with light sockets installed in both chambers as well and this one according to its name plate is the Stern light. You can use these inside as lamps or outside as lamps since they are airtight. They are over just 18 inches tall and almost 10 inches wide. Everything on these two unique and extremely rare lanterns are operatable. Every screw and bolt does what it should. The white stuff you see in the pictures is, I'm guessing is someone at one time, tried to use brass cleaner and did a bad job. Pair Large Solid Brass Marine Nautical Signal Lights Boat Lanterns Lamp
These are a great pair of Marine Nautical Lights. They are solid brass with heavy ribbed glass shades. They have been rewired and are in working condition. One of the lights has its original red insert so it can be used as a signal light. The 1st picture shows the lights with the red insert in one and a green light bulb in the second one if you wanted to use these that way. Or you can take out the red insert and have both lights clear as in the 2nd picture. Or put in any color bulb you choose. The lights are very heavy. The one with the insert is about 15 lbs and the other 13.5 lbs. These lanterns have handles that you can use to hang them or just for carrying. One of the lanterns has a little more copper tone to it then the other one and has 3 little feet to attach to a deck. The tops can be removed or slid to the side with the screws on ... morethe top to replace the lightbulbs. The globes are marked with a makers name. One of the shades has 2 small internal fissures at the bottom of the globe but they don't go all the way through the glass. Up for auction is a pair of 2 antique Maritime passageway heavy brass/bronze ship lights with cobalt blue glass globes with sliding doors and a handle for hanging. There are doors that slide on the lamp to open and close the cobalt blue glass globe. The base is all heavy brass/bronze and has a threaded top with moveable handle. On the top of the lamp it has a threaded fitting marked. 9-S-5010-L Type XXII Size B. The threaded top of the light has 9-S-2108-L. There is a gasket with washer and light socket inside, so changing the bulb is very easy. The cobalt blue globe is very heavy, please check pictures and measures 4 ½” diameter x 5” long with rounded bottom. On the rim of the cobalt blue globe it has Type H 2034 L P.G. Co. There are no chips or cracks on the globe. Underneath on the top ring it has 2099-L-3 and on the bottom section ... moreis 2099-L-4. The heavy base contains the sliding door to open and close. Antique Brass Kerosene Running Lights
Made by Wilcox Crittenden and I took them off a 1947 44 foot wooden motor-sailer named the Seahawk that was built by Fred Smith in Sewaren. NJ. I believe them to be older. Even though they are brass the bottoms are pretty corroded(see pic) and they do not have the burners. These lamps have a wonderful patina and would make beautiful decorative pieces for your nautical collection or an awesome addition to any vintage boat. Dimensions are about 7.5 X 12.5. antique brass nautical ship/cabin gimbal lights
Offered for your consideration are three(3) antique brass cabin lights which were probably used on earlier sailboats. They are gimbal lights which means they will remain upright as the ship/boat rolls. Lights are 6" tall. Base is 3 1/2" dia. and stick out from the bulkhead approximately 5" They are wired for either 12V or 120V light bulbs and have on/off switches. I do not have the lamp shades but they should be easy to find and any boat supply store. These light are very unique, solid brass and would make a great addition to the interior cabin on your boat.

2 Vintage Brass RUSSELL& STOLL NY Explosion Proof Lights- PURPLE GLASS GLOBES: Up for auction is a fantastic set of 2 vintage industrial lights which I rediscovered recently in a basement which had been untouched for over 50 years. Along with these two lights. I found 8 addition vintage explosion proof ceiling lights which I will be listing in the near future so please be sure to check back often. These 2 explosion proof lights were made and are clearly marked RUSSELL& STOLL CO. NEW YORK which is embossed on the top of the brass metal fixtures. Attached to the heavy brass fixtures(which were painted silver/ grey at one point in time) are the stunning purple glass globes. These two lights obviously once hung outside or directly in the sunlight because the maganese in the glass has oxidized over many years with the exposure to the suns ... moreUV radiation. Both thick glass globes have a perfect light tinted purple coloration to them and both of the glass globes are in excellent condition given their age having no cracks or chips in the globes themselves(other than a couple of small flea bites around the base which cannot be seen once screwed into place) and the threading on the glass allows the globes to screw into place easily and tightly without any wiggle room in their brass fixtures. Although the two lights are very similar in size and shape, there are a couple of very small differences between the two including the bulb fixtures(one is marked: BRYANT 660W 250V PAT'D NOV. 26, 1907) and the mounting brackets. I have not tampered with these two lights but I have taken them apart(as shown throughout my photographs) so that you can inspect the overall condition of each light. I have gently cleaned the interior& exterior of each of these lights so the winning bidder will receive very clean items but please keep in mind that I have not tested these lights for their working condition. The bulbs that are currently with the lights are the ones which were found with them(one being an earlier National Mazda bulb)

You are bidding on the two vintage cast brass Ship's nautical passageway wall sconce lights shown in the above photos. These lights measure about 9 1/2 inches tall and not counting the wall mount they are about 4 inches wide. When mounted to the wall. They will extend out from the wall by about 7 inches. The wall mount has two mount holes and will require a mounting surface that is about 3 inches wide and about 1/2 inches tall. Originally the power source for these lights came ... morefrom two conduits that connected into the back side of the light. We installed two copper caps in the original conduit holes and added the 90 degree elbow and short brass pipe on the top. The elbow and the brass pipe we added allows all the wiring to be 100% hidden from sight. You can install a plate cover over your existing junction box and drill a hole that will allow the conduit pipe to enter your junction box. Next step is to screw the light to your cover plate and you are done. Also, the new pipe we installed can be cut flush with the wall mount, and the light can be installed right to the wall with no junction box. If you want the pipe cut, just tell us and will cut it flush before the lights are shipped. The globes are glass and in good condition. Each light weighs almost 3/12 pounds. You can access the bulb area by unscrewing the cage and then unscrewing the glass globe. The glass is undamaged, but could use some additional cleaning. The cage and the glass globe drops right out. old Bronze/brass/copper ship's nautical running lights
A pair of port and starboard kerosene ships running lights. I call them"old" since I suspect my brother bought them in a foreign country many years ago when he was in the merchant marine. I hesitate to call them"authentic" since they have plates on them which state: Port. Starboard. I don't think real sailors need to be reminded what the red and green lenses denote. They are constructed of copper/brass/bronze, appear to be plastic green/red lenses, approximately 12.5 inches high, 7.5 inches across. The starboard kerosene insert is slightly bent(not visible when door closed. If you purchase and are unsatisfied, of course I will take them back for a refund(only minus shipping)

Each light is made of all cast brass and stamped copper. They measure just over 19 inches tall. The widest end with the clear glass is about 9 3/4 inches wide with the clear glass being about 7 3/4 inches wide. The ceiling mount plate is 5 3/4 inches wide with four mount holes. Each of these lights weighs just over 8 pounds. The brass connecting rod is about 12 inches long.
