Pair Vintage Copper Brass NEPTUNE NR Ship Lantern Lamp Nautical Maritime Cage NR
This auction is for a pair of vintage NEPTUNE NR copper and brass ship oil lamp lanterns. These lamps are in EXCELLENT estate found condition with a stunning and even patina. They are beautifully crafted from copper and brass and secured with a chain and hook in the front. These lanterns both have a badge at the top with the Neptune hallmark and NR. All of the glass is in beautiful condition(with the exception of some dust from being displayed) The globe inside is also in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The oil lamp inside is secured to a metal wire that stays in place by sliding down two opposing corners inside. And sits very securely inside with no wobble. I do not know the age of the lanterns, and have seen only a few similar, but most of then have all brass cages(die to the reddish tint I do believe this is mostly copper) ... moreor have been polished. None have been found also with this exact badge in the same place and this stunning copper patina with the reddish copper undertones that almost glow through. This has not been cleaned or polished, but I'm sure would polish up nicely if the buyer wishes to do so. Each lantern stands 15"high without handle, and 17 1/2" tall with handle, by approx 7"wide. Those would truly make an excellent display piece or addition to any collection. Please see pictures for more details and feel free to ask questions. PAIR BRASS HANGING SHIPS LANTERN LIGHT LAMP EARLY ELECTRIC BIG AND HEAVY BOAT
ok here today we have 2 early electric large heavy brass ships lanterns. please I am not an expert on maritime so if i make any errors let me know. these stand 14 inches to the top of the handle and almost 11 inches when the handle is down. the diameter of the base is 7 1/4 and the height of the actual glass globe inside is 5 3/4 inches and the diameter of the globe is 4 inches the op cap is held on with 4 thumb screws most of which are good. a couple have some thread loss and do not grip well. one lantern has an additional screw on piece on the top of the cap to accept the electric line. the bottom has a hinged cover with glass insert. unknown if it is original. each lantern has a small hinge on the bottom so you can open and close the hatch to change bulbs. one hinge is missing 1 screw.the othe issue is the handle is broken off on 1 lantern ... morebut i do have it and it can be welded back on. please look at the photos and ask me questions.if you need a specific photo of any part let me know. I did show photos of the broken off handle the mechanism still functions just need to reattach the handle. the shade is 2 part mold glass clear and free of any damage.there are no markings that would help me identify the manufacturer or ship. they will be shipped separately and the total shipping is 45 dollars' No international sales, I go to great lengths to call all issues even some that really are not,so that we are all on the same page when looking at these lanterns

Pair of Red & Green Ship Lantern Globe Lamps
Up for auction is a pair of ship lantern lamps with red& green glass globes. They each have a 3 way switch- first position lights up the base. 2nd lights up the top bulb and the 3rd lights up top and bottom together. They need a good cleaning and maybe a little paint. They measure 14 1/2 inches to top of light bulb.

They are solid copper with glass lenses and appear to be very nice quality lamps. We believe that these were made in the 1960's era as replacements for the original antique lamps. I would imagine that they were very expensive to purchase when new. They measure 9 1/2 inches tall" not counting the bail handle" by about 6 inches wide. They are in very nice condition with only a couple fairly minor little dents. The ne burner has the chimney and the other burner does not. Antique Navigational Wilcox & Crittenden Port & Starboard Oil Lantern Pair
For Sale is a very nice set of 2 original oil burning nautical. Maritime Navigational Lanterns.The main housing is constructed of galvanized iron and the top cover is copper. However they have not been shined up. The original manufacturer was Wilcox& Crittenden& Co. There trademark was Capital W with a Capital C embossed on top of one another. The factory was in Middletown, CONN. USA. There is a photo of the Logo which appears to be embossed on brass, it is on the side, located on top of a metal sleeve, which is riveted on the lantern itself. This sleeve must have been used to slip over something to hold it secure to the ship. Both sleeves are intact and extremely secure. This embossing is very difficult to capture in a photo as the glare, and clarity of a photo so close. The lanterns stand just shy of 13" tall with the hanging ... moreloop standing up. They are made to fit in a corner. The sides measure 5" With the front curving around to meet the 2 sides. The glass itself is 5" tall and is almost 90 degrees. One lantern has fresnel green glass for the starboard, and the lantern with the fresnel red glass is for the port. The glass on both lanterns is in very good shape and have no cracks or chips. The metal round accesses to the oil chambers/wicks are both present and appear tight when screwed in. The wick chambers need cleaning, but seem to work, and even have wick left in them! We didn't attempt to light them, but knowing something about oil lanterns, don't see any reason they wouldn't work, however this isn't a guarantee. just presenting things honestly. The metal. Nowhere, on either lantern shows any sign of rust. However they are a brown color. Paint appears to be old, in some places chipping, or peeling off. There are the usual signs of true usage. Wear and tear. Overall appear to be in very good shape. I have not checked them for leakage, however on inspection, I don't see any reason they would leak. I have no idea how old they are. Up for sale is a beautiful pair of old brass maritime oil lantern that is signed"Wedge. These are really fine old lanterns. And very well made. The rivets are copper. There is glass on all four sides behind the grates. One side is a door that opens via a little latch. This lantern measures about 15" tall by 6 3/4" by 6 3/4" with the handle up they measure 22 1/2" The brass has a beautiful, aged patina and the glass is free of any chips or cracks. The wick is still intact. They are in excellent condition with no dents or damage. A very nice and highly collectable pair of lanterns!

This is a pair of vintage 1940's ship's wheel nautical themed sconces. The body of the sconce is a copper colored ship's wheel with brass handles and the he shade is shaped to look like the top of a lantern. With a frosted top and clear sides. They are in excellent condition for their age with some minor wear to the brass finish, and one of the glass shades has a small superficial crack, as shown. One sconce has some dried paint drops that can easily be removed. They measure approximately 8.5" tall. The shade has a diameter of 3.75" and the wheel has a diameter of 7.5" including the spokes. Welcome! Up for auction are a scarce PAIR of Wilcox and Crittenden Port and Starboard Lanterns. They are electrical. However I do not know if they work. They are very nice vintage shape. One flaw is that the starboard(green) lantern is missing it's closing pin and they could use a good cleaning. They stand approximately 8.5" TALL. I have no idea how to clean them so I will leave it up to the winning bidder. Please see ALL photos and feel free to ask questions. Vintage PAIR Nautical Gimbal Mount Brass Weighted Oil Lamp Sail Boat Lantern
Vintage ~ Antique Pair Brass Nautical Oil Lamps with Gimbals(no glass shades) ~ heavy and solid. Each weighs 3 1/4 pounds, counting the gimbals ~ height is 8 1/4" ~ width at widest point is 3 1/2" Please view my photo's. As they are part of my description. These unrestored lamps are in nice condition. I have not polished them. No dents or dings. Wicks are present and will move up and down. All parts move freely. Both burners are hinged. One burner is missing the little clasp that locks the burner in place. This clasp screws on and likely is replaceable. Both gimbal mounts are in very nice condition- look at my photo's. Beautiful PAIR of antique Perko boat/ maritime lanterns! They have a weighted base and swing on a gimbal mount. They are in excellent shape but could use a good cleaning and of course fuel and a new wick. English made" There is only one small ding on the rear of one(pictured) Unrestored original patina. The lanterns stand 9" tall with the glass globe. Original globes in very good shape. A great addition to any old maritime theme.

Antique marine lantern electrified Wilcox & Crittenden Middletown CT, pair
These Wilcox& Crittenden Marine lanterns have been converted to electric. Both lights work. Both have base of original kerosene container and only needs small burner/ wick insert to convert it back to the original state. see photo. Contact me for any questions. Both measure about 12" tall without carrying handle. 5 1/2" wide. All patina untouched. I have not cleaned either. That is for buyer should they want to. 7/8" hole on right side of each; probably for connection to something. Both have slot on back for mounting.

Pair of 2- Old Brass ship lanterns. Made by the PERKINS MARINE LAMP CORP. out of Brooklyn New York. Brass Has a beautiful natural aged patina. The original glass lens is starting to turn a very slight amethyst color. The lanterns inside were made by E. MILLER Co. And are marked. Look at the pictures closely. This is exactly the way I found them. I think they would polish up nicely. They measure about 17-1/2" tall(including the bail) and each weighs close to 9 pounds. In excellent condition. And would clean up nicely if you choose to do so. Both show expected wear. And have a few dings. Overall in Very Good Condition.

Weems Plath Brass Oil Lantern Lanterns Pair Vintage Gimbal Lamp Pair Vintage
These were hanging on the inside of a house from probably the 80's or 90's. Made in Taiwan. Approximately 10" tall. And 3 1/2" across the base. I don't think these have ever been polished. The top of them has more rust or dullness than the rest of it. One is numbered 20535 and the other is 20669. Each weighs about 4 pounds with the gimbal.
