And the base measures 2 1/8" wide. There are 2 small dents in the top dome, which can be popped out should you decide to do so(I will leave that up to the successful bidder) The burner has a wick and the wick turner works most of the time(a couple of times when I tried it it did not work but that may be due to the wick being so old. Vintage Beehive Glass Boat Dock Passage Marine Light Replacement Antique Covers
I don't know much about these but they are thick glass shades for marine usage. Decks, docks, landscaping, they measure 4-1/8” H x 3-1/8” in diameter, nice glass beehive pattern. Feel free to ask questions and I'll do my best to answer. They have a dusty layer that would easily wipe clean. In good condition, there are a few glass slivers that have chipped of on the inside around the little hole. Each have one very small sliver chip on the outside around the small hole. Each have one or two even smaller chip around the outer edge of the large hole. They are extremly tiny but I wanted to mention everything. Antique PERKO Brass Adjustable Marine Spot Light Boat Search Light Nautical
This is a really cool old Perko marine spotlight or searchlight. It is solid brass and I think the light holder is a cast red brass. I couldn't find anything on the light that a magnet would stick too. It seems to be structurally in good condition. The brass could use cleaning and polishing as there's a lot of patina to the brass. The thin strip around the top and bottom of the light have some small slits. Maybe for fitting the brass around the body of the light. The light is also adjustable to be able to aim the light. The half label on the back is a Perko label. Heavy and well made. It has a GE bulb and I was told it works. The wiring is frayed and you should definitely have it checked out or rewired if you're planning on using it as a light though. See the pictures for more detail. There is a dent on the bottom edge. This has made it out of round& where the insert only lines up in one position. One of the locking wires has come disconnected but is still present& included. Clear perko Fresnel lens in great condition with no cracks. This lens is a full cylinder. This lantern is just over 6" tall and is 4.25" across the b ottom. I have made no attempts to polish or repair this lamp. This is the condition i found it in. This piece will make a great little project for someone who likes to tinker with things. Or just leave it the way it is, as it's still charming!

Up for auction is this old P ERKO ships lamp. It must be the largest lamp made by Perko. It stands an impressive 2 4" tall. With handle raised. M easures 11 1/2" wide and 9 1/2" deep. This could have been a cargo lamp. Steaming l ight. Anchor light, or a stern light. Not really sure. Somewhere on it's journey it was electrified and has a bulb inside and the burner is not present. It has a thick Fresnel lens that is turning purpl e with age and it has a crack in it that is stable. Doesn't detract much from the old lamp. Still displays beautifull y.With a r ich patina that adds to the salty character. This Perko lamp was made in Brooklyn. New York a long time ago and after being at sea for many years. Antique Vintage Boat Nautical Marine Oil lamps Port Starboard Green Red Ship
Up for auction are two antique nautical port/ starboard oil lamps. I have yet to see a pair exactly like this with smooth glass. Unfortunately i do not see any markings on them. The body's of the lamp appear to be galvanized but i could be wrong. The lenses of these lamps are in very nice shape with no visable cracks. One is green and one is red. These lamps appear complete minus the one is missing a part out of the bottom as seen in the picture. The only other issue is that the top of the one lamp has a dent and the top has some minor damage. Other then that they would make a great display piece. These are being sold as is. Added 4 pictures of the lens. For you to check out. Clear lens looks to be in really good condition. No cracks that we can see. Red lens has a crack in it and no chips just the crack. Up for sale is this vintage Perko. Perkins marine lantern. It is in the same condition as when I bought it, dirty, and that is the way it will be received. It looks as though it was dropped on the side and sort of pushed in the side of the bottom. Not sure about the fixture inside, don't know if that is original. this is a very old metal signal light of some sort. Crumpled metal label on back reads PERKINS MARINE LAMP& HDW CORP. Brooklyn NY so I assume it is a boating or navigational lamp of some sort. 11 1/2" tall. About 6" wide and 9" deep with the flap that separates the two ridged glass lenses, one is green and one is red. Lenses are held in with copper or brass fittings and cap is same metal. The metal body is rusted out on about the bottom 3/4 inch and fits over somekind of lighting mechanism but I don't know what kind. this could be used for parts for another lamp of the same type or possibly restored, I don't know. back has a flat mount of some sort. don't know if it goes over an electric or gas light on a post, or how it was used. RARE Antique Sterling and Other Metal Gimbaled Marine Lantern w/Enameled Base and Bone Handle- This is a very old gimbaled marine lantern that was obviously meant for the personal use of a sailor. The 1 1/2" ball fuel reservoir is attached to a cupped base to allow the lantern to be placed on a flat surface. The ball is enameled a beautiful red. It is 1 7/8" tall from the bottom of the base to the top. The base is 7/8" in diameter. Sterling and Other Metal" The number 37 and a maker's mark are engraved inside of the base. The handle is made of a type of bone.possibly whale bone? The handle length is 3 1/2" The total length is 6" It weighs about an ounce. CONDITION I've tried to show the dimpled side of the ball(there are 6 dimples) The minor scratches in the enameled area and the misshapen base. The handle ... morehas no chips. Offered for your bidding consideration is a very rustic looking Perkins Marine Lamp. Handsome verdigris abound! This lamp is located in Stockton. California which is, in tonage, the 4th busiest port on the West Coast. In the early days of California Stockton was the hub. Many regarded Stockton as the in-land San Francisco. It was a rough place and full of vice. Many different forms of boats and ships from sailing vessels to large paddlewheelers made their way to Stockton bringing people and goods. During WWII there were no less than two shipyards making destroyers, balloon barges and tugs for the U.S. Navy. Stockton was also home to the Stephen's Bros. Boat Builders from 1902 to 1987. The metal is either BRASS or BRONZE and EXTREMELY HEAVY! The red and green lenses look to be very old. ORIGINAL and quite THICK! The red one has a few dings in it as pictured, but the green one does not. Looks like it would have been mounted on a pole at the bow of the boat or vessel. GORGEOUS AUTHENTIC and OLD! This is a matched pair of antique marine lanterns made by National Marine Lamp Co. I think they were used to signal other ships but this is not my area of expertise. They are wedge shaped with one blue glass lens and the other is red. The glass is very thick and ribbed and in surprisingly wonderful condition. They each are also marked with"Lense Triplex Trade Mark Dec 20 1910" which I believe is referring to the glass lens only. The Red lamp is marked"MFRD by National Marine Lamp Co New York" and the Blue has an oval metal tag on the back that says"Geo. B. Carpenter& Co Chicago" I don't know why there are 2 different marks as the lanterns are otherwise identical aside from the glass color. I am assuming they were painted black by someone at some point but if so it has been a long while. Huge PERKO Antique Vintage Bronze Blue Red Marine Navigational Boat Bow light
This is a very heavy and large bow light for a boat. It weighs almost 5 lbs. before packing. It has a red glass lens on one side and a blue glass lens on the other. The housing is solid bronze with a gorgeous patina. There is a spot in the top to place a flag on a pole. It's embossed"Perko" on the inside lip as shown. other than a quarter size chip on the outside of the red lens. It's in very nice vintage condition. 8 3/4" long X 5 1/2" X 4" tall. Antique Vtg Rare Perko Nautical Marine Lantern Port Starboard Combination This cool old Perko nautical lantern is a hard to find model. According to my search for a similar one. The lantern has both port& starboard lenses, with a dividing plate between the ribbed red& deep aqua green glass. The lantern has old silver paint with typical surface age. The interior lamp is brass& shows surface greening. The wick advances. One of the two side mounting brackets on the interior lamp is missing. The lantern displays very nicely& the glass on the lantern is free of any chips or cracks. No dents. It measures 11" high to the top of the holding ring by 4.5" wide and 7" deep. It mounts to a wall and the lamp is always upright(even in rough water) It measures approximately 6" high(to the top of the burner) x 4 1/4" across(bracket) x 4" in diameter(mounting plate) and it will stand out from the wall about 5 3/8" This lamp is in good condition but there appears to be stress cracks in the brass, all the way around the middle of the lamp(not really noticeable and I think the brass is over another metal because ... moreit is quite heavy) Everything else looks fine and it would probably still work! New York" This nautical light measures approximately 9" tall. Plus the ring. The base is about 5-1/8" left to right; 4-5/8" front to back. There is no fin. There is no burner. The bottom opens nicely. The top appears to be copper; the rest appears to be galvinized. Great for candles or LEDs. Heavy Antique Bronze Marine Deck / Anchor Light / Lamp- Tugboat or Lighthouse
This heavy bronze lamp has sliding panels side and bottom which both slide properly. Top threads off to reveal fixture which was probably a fixed porcelain socket originally. This lamp is excellent throughout with no damage. Dents or repairs. Weighs almost 10 pounds. I've included a soda can for scale reference. Measures 13" to the top of the handle. The Lamps are Not a Exact Match but they are almost Identical in Size. Each Light measures 13" high x 11" wide x 10" deep approx. The Top Lid on Each Light is Solid Brass. The Body of Each Light is Heavy Steel Metal. On One of the Lights Brass Lid does Not Screw down all the Way. It is marked Staten Island. NY. This Same Light also has a Brass Tag marked MARINE LIGHTING A. WARD. HENDRICKSON CO. NY. The other Light is Unmarked. The Lamps are Shabby and can be Restored if Desired. Both Lamps have Rust and need Rewired. The Glass Globes also have Damage. Both Glass Globes have Chipping. One Glass Globe has a Line Right through the Center of it. antique chas c Hutchinson co maritime kerosene lantern. I did a little research and found out this was a company who produced maritime products on state st. in boston. Ma. they were in business in the mid 1800's the frame is in good overall condition and has the original burner assembly which is good condition. as stated above I do not have the glass for it. I am sure it is probably interchangeable with other lanterns. if you have the globe I have the rest.i will always combine shipping on multiple purchases whenever it is reasonable to do so.
