I have seen others with the same thing on them and believe it was purposely bent like that to fit on the ships they were used on since its not only this one I've seen like that. The base is 6 inches across and the light is very heavy duty. Not sure if it is military as it appears to be somewhat grey in coloring. There is a number 9-S 4473-L in raised lettering on top. There is a 64 inch heavy duty cord with some type of plug in socket end see photo 5. Not sure if from a ship, dock or pier. Not sure if it works or what type of power supply it used. Here's an antique boat pole lamp in estate as found condition. I cleaned the dust/ dirt off of the glass globe shade. Only a few small flakes/ chips seen on ribbed edges. The brass/ copper fixture and threaded globe holder shows some minor wear and aging/ patina to the finish. The spring action is strong inside the lamp socket. The globe/ shade threads on and off fixture base properly. The globe/ shade measures: 2 3/4 inches diameter. 5 1/2 inches height overall including fixture, and the pole measures 7/8 inch outside diameter. Terms: Please make payment within 3 days. Primitive Antique Early Lighting Satin Finished Glass Oil Lamp Light Lantern
This is a very nice antique early lighting oil lamp. The lantern has a satin paneled glass finish. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The lantern with the glass chimney on it stands 21" tall. Without the chimney and including the metal burner it is 12" tall. It is 6" wide across the middle and is 6" wide across the bottom. The metal burner is in good working condition. Overall this is a very nice unique antique oil lantern and would make a great addition to any collection. A vintage nickel/ chrome plated brass searchlight in estate as found condition. Oxidation is seen on finish. But no dings are dents are seen. The light head tilts forward and backwards and swivels on base. The searchlight beam case measures: 4 inches diameter, 3 inches depth. The complete fixture is 7 1/4 inches height overall, and 6 inches width overall including support bracket. No name or company seen on rectangular brass tag, only the number 182-0. It's a antique Perko flashlight boat light. Measures 14" tall. Would clamp onto any boat or dingy. The only damage is in pic#5. It has some cracking in thread area. So if you put batteries in it, it pops open because threads won't give a firm fit. No corrosion, and takes batteries. Lights nicely, see pic#10. Looks brass and tin. It is a large light that weighs 12.8 pounds. It measures 18 and 1/2" tall by 12 and 1/4" wide by 10" deep. The back cover does open but is missing a pin to keep it shut. The glass on the front has a small chip in it. The paint is chipping on various locations. I have shown all of this in my photographs. Overall this is a magnificent light that is rarely up for sale. Leviton was founded by Isidor Leviton in 1906. After immigrating from Russia to the United States. Isidor Leviton opened up a small tinsmithing business producing mantle tips used for gas lighting. WWII vintage antique navy beacon light 9-S-5311-L read description
This ww2 light as been particularly restoration. New up to date battery pack 6v. New switch. New wiring, new cone and bulb(one the you can replace) there is no bondo or any other kind of filler the metal. There is hardly any pits. Some pits on the glass ring. I didn't want to fill in the small pits it would take the vintage look to it. The light has the original glass. Well this is a bummer I dropped the light and the glass cracked so a plastic replace peace has been put in its place I'll add new photos. This is a 1919 No 1935 Great Britain antique maritime lamp. This lamp has been converted to electric and is in good working condition. Bulb is included. This solid brass lamp is fairly heavy and high quality construction. Brass does have some staining and tarnish on it and underneath has more tarnish that is green in color so it will need polishing this lamp. Cleaning and polishing of this lamp will be the responsibility of the buyer to do. RARE Large Antique Ships Masthead light WW2 era
Super rare masthead light. Made by A. WARD HENDRICKSON. BROOKLYN NY. The glass was made by PERKO. The glass has some chips in it. But its very thick glass so theres no cracks. The body is a very heavy metal. Not sure what. It weights over 21 pounds. It looks like it was originaly battlship grey but repainted red. Paint is chipping off. Its missing the cover which looks like it screwed on by the theaded top. It was retrofitted with an electric light which is in working condition. Needs to be hard wired or you can attach a plug. I rigged it up for the pics. Lamp is huge. It measures 15" tall x 12" wide x 12" deep.

Antique Peter Gray Maritime Nautical Red Globe Anchor Lantern Light Great Lakes?
Just out of a local house is this antique Maritime Ships lamp. It was made by Peter Gray around 1890 or perhaps earlier. The lantern is galvanized with old red paint. It has a Fresnel glass globe that is clear on the outside and cased with a layer or red glass on the inside. I have seen these listed in our lantern books listed as Great Lakes lights. Navy Lanterns, Stern, or Anchor lights. This light measures about 19 3/4 inches tall. 7 inches across the base, and about 7 1/2 inches at its widest. It is in good condition but has some oxidation, some damage where the bottom of the cage meets the base, and the lens has a chip. See photos. The font has an unusual burner marked Gray Boston. Antique Perkins Marine Brass & Galvanized Perko Anchor Light w/Original Burner
Perko Anchor Light 10 1/4" high and 4 1/2" in diameter Listed here is a very nice anchor light. The glass is in great shape. There is only minor surface rust on the galvanized parts with no rust thru. The top ring is brass plated, the top is solid brass as are the protector rods over the glass. The burner is original and also marked Perko. Light works as I used it for several years on my sailboat. A really nice piece. S& H& I, to US locations only, $18.50. Enjoy!
