I believe this to be a vintage ship/nautical/maritime oil lantern in good condition. Made of copper, brass and a amber/yellowish tinted globe shaped glass w/ no cracks or chips. The lantern measures 11"H x 7.5"W and has a small removable oil lantern that enters the lantern through a small hole in the base of the lantern. I left the metal the way I found this piece and only cleaned up the glass globe. I do not see any reason why this lantern would not function properly. Circa 1940 Ceiling Light, Nautical Design Glass Globe, Brass Ship Wheel Canopy
Circa 1940 ceiling light with nautical theme. The glass globe has raised decorations around the side- sailing ships. Anchors, and a lighthouse; the bottom of the globe has a 16-point compass rose. The figural brass canopy is a ship's wheel. This fixture is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks in the glass globe; the brass canopy shows some tarnish and wear consistent with age and use. This fixture is rewired with new phenolic sockets and wire leads. There is the original Harmony House decal on the inside of the canopy. The glass globe is 10 inches in diameter and about 4 1/2 inches deep. The drop. As shown, is 6 1/2 inches. The area where the wick is put is clean and not used or hardly used. It shows little to no signs of burning marks or anything of that nature. There is moderate tarnishing and marking of the brass on the outside but most of it is purely cosmetic. There is some oxidization here and there but nothing major. This lamp does not come with a handle but has the holes for one. In terms of keys for the keyholes or locks or anything. SOLID BRASS HEAVY SHIP LIGHT WITH GLASS DOME EXPLOSION PROOF TYPE
This auction is for one very heavy Solid Brass Ship Light With A Glass Dome. It is an explosive proof light but it does not currently have any rubber seals in it. It is 8 1/2" tall. 6 3/4" deep and 4 1/2" wide. It weighs over 5 lbs. It has a receptacle that is designed to accept a twist-lock type bulb. I suppose it could be retrofitted for a different type of bulb. It has a brass cage that unscrews and a glass dome. The only markings on it is 60 W. It has part of a wire protruding from one side. Metal with clear glass globe Ship or Railroad Kerosene Lantern. Canada 1921-1923 with numbers engraved on bottom. Adlake Kero engraved on the top. 10 by 6 inch lamp with a 4 inch high handle. Wick inside is intact as well as the wicks handle on the side. The bottoms wire like base is slightly bent. There is some rust throughout and a 1/2 inch long, 1/8 inch dent on the top. Very good condition overall.

This lantern is from my Grandfather's collection and unfortunately he's unable to give me specifics on it. This is believed to be a ship lantern but the globe has"PERKO" near seam. Measures approximately 20" tall and 10" at widest point. This lantern is solid. Weighs approximately 12 pounds. Needs to be cleaned up, it's dirty from years in storage. My Grandfather said it worked when packed up years ago, this is being sold UNTESTED. I have not taken this apart or done any extensive cleaning. The Globe appears solid but looks like there could be some deep cracks although the surface is smooth. The glass has a few scratches and chips. I've photographed all imperfections. This is a very unique Maritime item. It's brass light with 5 sided glass. They had filaments of green and red. Port and Starboard are on the light. As you can see the colors had brittle. I cant find any maker on the light. It is 13" tall and around 25" around from the thickest section 9" Diameter. A great piece to have. Needs a good cleaning and polish. Please see pictures.

Not sure of the age of these. Given to me probably 15 years ago. I have listing the accompanying Starboard Lantern separately While the lanterns are very similar, the Starboard is slightly larger, so I don't think they were made as a pair) I believe they are a copper/brass veneer. Relatively light weight. Never been used. Wick intact, bracket to mount on wall included.

For sale is an original vintage all brass Nautical Ships Deck/ Cabin Oil Lantern This lantern has a lovely aged& weathered patina The lamp was made to mount onto a wall bracket or stand alone on a flat surface The lamp has 2 pieces- the inner piece is the oil tank& burner with original wick-tank looks like it might hold about 6 ounces of oil/ kero just below where the wick comes up the word" SIMPLEX" is embossed on the brass& the turning knob that adjusts the wick height reads" E Miller Co Made in USA" these are the only marks I can find on the lamp this tank/wick piece fits snugly into the bottom of the outer piece there is a hinged door with clear glass to protect the flame The outer piece is vented top& bottom to control the airflow to keep the flame alive There is a piece of wood down the back of the ... moreouter piece that probably anchored the lamp into the wall mount There are no damage issues with this lamp- just surface dirt from years of storage- glass is complete- no chips or cracks Really nice piece of nautical memorabilia Be sure to check out ALL the pictures to judge the condition for yourself. Vintage c1940s Nautical Ship’s Wheel Ceiling Light Compass Glass Shade
Cute little nautical light from the 1940s probably manufactured by Progress Lighting. Glass shade is hand painted in a deep red or maroon with a compass on the bottom and tall sailing ships on the side. I think the highlight of this light is the brass anchor finial. Glass in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It will come to you rewired and will take two 60 watt bulbs. From an estate sale is an Antique Vtg Brass Wall Oil or Kerosene Lantern. It measures 13" long and the beveled glass windows measure 4" x 3" All windows are free of cracks or damage. There is some surface rust on the inside but no corrosion to the metal to cause holes or damage so it could be cleaned if needed. The very top of the lantern has been soldered(see photos) but it doesn't affect the workings of the lantern. The bracket has two holes for mounting the lantern on the wall.very cool item for the nautical buff or collector. Featured here is an original 1909 Brass Solar Ship's Running Light Lantern(with green plastic jewel) The housing has beveled glass. There are two patent dates: June 08. 1909& June 29, 1909. The lamp measures 11-3/8" tall and the housing is 4-1/2" wide(not including the fitting for attachment to a rod) This is model No. 1030. This lamp is in great vintage condition(wonderful patina, very minor dent) and is fully operational. Whoever wins the bid will get the other running light(with red jewel) but this one has a cracked jewel and is missing the reservoir to fuel the lantern. My reserve price is based on a single lantern. Here we have a very large ship or boat lamp or lantern marked"Anchor" This estate found lantern is made from solid brass which has been lacquered. Although the lacquer is crazing from age. It still displays very nicely. The center cap in the top flips up and it also opens at the base of the top as well. There is an oil lamp inside that does have the wick. In the center there is a very thick ribbed glass lens that has no cracks. There is a brass anchor hook on the top and the bottom. No dents, nice vintage condition. Very large, the lamp itself measures an impressive 18 1/2" tall not including the anchor hooks at the top and bottom. Diameter is about 9 3/4" This sizable lamp displays nicely. Here is a great nautical ship or railroad lantern for your buying consideration. Recently acquired them at an auction that a party's collection of marine/nautical items were being sold. We will have a number of these pieces for sale separately in our Ebay store. The lantern would make a great gift or keep it for yourself! I would guess this lanterns is an old one. Per the patent date of March 1 1864. The burner has the name"Convex on the other side of the brass wick guide. Struck out when attempted to find something online for that patent date. Ring for hanging it is still on the top of the lantern. The lantern also has a brass spring clip affixed to the back of ... morethe lamp. Someone put felt on it. So as to not scratch the surface the lantern is attached to. The lantern has a thick rounded glass on it. The glass is not cracked. There is a chip in the glass where the clear globe meets the metal body on the top left side. The burner appears intact and has a wick in it. A ding in the bottom of the burner. The case of the lantern is made of metal. Probably repainted with the black paint on it some time after it was new many moons ago. No major rust or corrosion to the lantern body. The lantern is 8.75" tall. By 3.75" across, by 5.25" wide. I do not see a maker's mark on the body of the lantern or lens, just the burner body. It is made out of brass and has one side with green ribbed glass and the other side with red ribbed glass. There is also a divider made of brass that separates the two colors from view of passing ships on the high seas(sometimes seen missing or damaged on other lights) The brass has a nice patina from many decades of life. There is a decent size dent on the slightly-domed top(please see photos) The side of the light is marked with Perko's logo and company info. Being made in Brooklyn,NY. My guess as to age would be from around the 1930s or 40s. It could be even earlier-back into the 20s or so- but I'm not certain. The glass is in good condition. Here is a vintage/antique? ANKERLIGHT copper nautical lantern. This is electric and it does work. The rubber seals inside have long since rotted away. Some of the copper is turning green. I imagine when this was new it was bright and shiny copper. The glass is in good condition. The lantern is approx. 15" tall. The bottom is 2 halves of plexiglass. My father purchased this ship lantern in 1964 at moss point Mississippi.It came from one of the ships in the National Defense Reserve(Ghost Fleet) that was anchored in Blakeley River. AL. It's in good shape with a few signs of age and wear. The glass does have a small ship in it. Its condition is further detailed in the photographs.
