Broken lamp parts and no lamp cord. Item will have to be completely rewired. Very nice art on sides. Rose, deer& mechanical ruler with compass pencil with looks like the letter"G" in the middle. Vintage Antique oil style electric student lamp with glass electrical insulator
This is a stunning antique brass and glass electric student table lamp. it is very ornate and has a wonderful design with a nice rich patina from age. it has two curved arms with ribbed thick vintage green electrical insulators which have nice lines. they are both held by the mounts wrapping the brass sockets. there are nice brass on/off turn switches located right on the sockets. it has a large circular heavy base which has an embossed trim wrapping the edge. it has a nicely detailed shaft and has a decorative oil font as one of the arms. the piece is in great shape and works perfectly. The insulators can be easily removed to change bulbs or to change up from time to time with standard flute and shade.

It is stamped"PAT'D MAY 17. 1910" It was stored in a dirty electrical parts junk box at an electricians estate sale and has scuffs from contact with other items in the box. I think it may have never been used because there are no wire coming out of it and it is not tarnished around the push buttons from sweaty fingers.
