It is a heavyweight.Well detailed, and realistic replica of an antique anchor light typical of those used on 19th century wooden sailing ships. It measures 14 inches high by 7 inches in diameter. Lamp appears to have professionally wired, and is equipped with a porcelain bulb socket for illumination as a table/wall light. Unique Vintage Nautical Ceiling Light Fixture Ship's Boat Anchor Brass
WOW! This great. Unique nautical-themed ceiling fixture would make a terrific addition to anyone's nautical-themed room or beach house! The fixture is composed of a great brass anchor that has six stars in the center and a rope embellishment that wraps around the entirety of the anchor. At the top and on the points of the anchor hang three lovely. Lantern-like fixtures that are screwed into the anchor. The fixture retains its original cloth-wrapped copper wiring and should be rewired prior to use. The sockets are all original and made of porcelain. Note that there are slight bends to each of the shades. It's hard to notice, but I try to be accurate in my descriptions. Approximately 17" from top to bottom and 15" across at the widest point. Please note that I have not tried to polish any of the brass in the event that the ... morenew owner wants to retain its rustic feel. The globes are dusty and the entire fixture could use a good scrub. You'll need a fitting that will hold the fixture to the ceiling after a pole is inserted through the center hole. Vintage Solid Brass Lifeboat Lantern 1952 Anchor Great Britain Sherwoods LTD
As you can see in the pics. This lantern is in great condition. It is marked as being manufactured in Great Britain on the 151st day of 1952. It is identified as a Lifeboat Lantern Anchor. It is made of heavy solid brass weighing about 6 lbs. The inner lamp is marked as being made by Sherwoods LTD of GB and is in perfect working order. It is accessed through the bottom of the lantern. Of museum quality, this piece would be a great addition to any maritime collection. The lantern is 16" tall with handle and 6" in diameter. Thank you for your interest.

Pair Vintage Copper & Brass Tung Woo Anchor & Masthead Lanterns Never Used
This pair of Tung Woo lanterns came from a copper collection they have never been used. They are about 9" high without the handles. There are few dimple dings on them. There is bent sot on the back of the masthead lantern(shown in photo) that is about 1/2" long. There is also a place on the glass of the masthead lantern about 1" long. I'm not sure, I think it is a flaw in the glass, there is also a photo of it. These are beautiful lanterns. Please look at the photos and email any questions you may have about them. Makers William Harvie Co Ltr(late of Glasgow) Ships Lantern& Lighting Engr Bishop St Birmingham. 5 B.14615 This gorgeous and rare anchor light is constructed of HEAVY copper and brass. The clear glass Fresnel lens inside does have a minor crack. Barely noticeable(see pic) Please note, there are a few spots of repair on the housing as well, as show in the pics. It has been electrified and is more than likely meant to be hung, although it could look lovely on a table. It would look absolutely stunning all shined up, but I'll leave that decision to the new owner. It is believed to have been from the early 20th Century, very few of these are out there. It stands 14" tall(without handles) and 10" wide. It's a solid 28 pounds, so if you do plan to hang it, do so accordingly. Ship Lantern Solid Brass Anchor NOS
Offered here is a Nautical Ship Lantern Marked: ANCHOR on brass tag. This entire lantern is solid brass with some of the frame tarnished& copper in color"looking" I am unsure of the type of brass? Has a red color tarnish to it and this lantern could be polished out really nicely to a consistent gold color if desired. No manufacture dates; patent dates; or any other markings found other than the word Anchor. This lantern has never been lit. And is NOS. I took a large powerful magnet to all parts, and the only time the magnet stuck was on the widest part of the burner frame; the other parts of the burner are"brass" and non-magnetic. A couple of very small dents in the frame is all the flaws worth mentioning. Everything turns; rotates; operates as it was as new! This lantern stands 13-7/8" tall exactly and is 7-5/8" ... moreat it's widest diameter with the bottom of the frame measuring 6-5/8" exactly. The distance between gimballed bail handle eye loops is 19-1/2" while hanging. The upper gimballed handle allows the user to open the entire top ventilator to remove the fuel pot while hanging& remaining attached. This lantern weighs 6.22 lbs on scale"without fuel& having the inside glass chimney" It is missing the inside glass chimney that would measure 1-1/4" across outside bottom diameter& would stand 4-1/2" tall approximately. The clear Fresnel globe is in perfect shape having air bubbles& cast lines and swirls; has smooth surface inside& refractory surface outside& measures: 5-5/16" in diameter across outside top& bottom& 4-3/4" tall overall. It is non removable& this lantern appears to be a fixed globe type. This item fairly clean other than dust on the inside& ready to use or display in a nautical collection! Vintage Ship Lantern "Anchor" Made in England Copper Brass 19"
Awesome vintage copper and brass ship's lantern made by"Anchor" made in England. Rare and collectible! This one measures 19" high; and 7" across at the bottom. Very nice heavy piece! Has"Anchor" marked at the top. And an insignia and"made in England" on the bottom fuel container. The top brass hanger folds down, too. I found this at an estate sale near Annapolis; and it has a couple dings and there's a dent at one of the brass rings on the side(see 7th photo) Burner looks to be in great shape, the glass globe has a big crack in it and will most likely need to be replaced. Nice wall fixture. Yes it needs cleaning and polish or enjoy the patina the way it is. It appears to be mainly copper with the anchor made of brass. I am no expert on metals, but it is not metallic. Good glass, I do not see any chips or cracks.

More items from my in-laws' bait shop. Which has been a Chicago fixture for about 75 years. Tung Woo No. BN 207 ANCHOR nautical lamp. This has been converted to an electric lamp. There is Chinese writing and a picture of a man on the bottom of the lamp-perhaps a newspaper impression when it was made? The lamp is 13-1/2" tall and 6-1/2" wide.
