Up for auction is this vintage dock lamp made by the B& B Engineering Corporation of Norwood. LA, U.S.A. The dock lamp is a model NL6601 that takes a normal 1" diameter 100 watt light bulb and has a chain pull on/off switch and wiring that comes out of the bottom. The light weight wiring needs additional length to hook up to an outlet. The 180 degree blue grooved lens is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or damaged whatsoever as seen in the photos. The lamp measures 9 1/2" in diameter by 13 1/2" high including the tripod base that has three holes to mount on either a dock or boat. The physical condition is very good and ready to be hooked up to the buyer's dock, boat, or anywhere lighting is needed outside. Weighs 10 lbs. before packaging. Hello.Im guessing this is from an old Chris Craft boat but not sure.The top of the blue glass is marked NML Co.The inside porcelain electrical piece looks fine and it appears to take a regular size light bulb as seen.Thw wire that comes out the bottom back is not there.I hope someone can use this piece or just the blue shade.The bottom part is brass and where the brass meets the blue shade it is worn so the glass does not stay attatched well.It could sit straight up and be fine but when you turn on the side it would fall off.You could improvise some how but I'll leave that up to you.Hope someone can use this.Would be neat to also hook up wire and use as in house display.Enjoy!

This is a very nice set of antique Tung Woo ship lanterns. They have some general wear(tarnish/scuffs/scratches) But look very good for their age. They have"Tung Woo Hong Kong" stamped into the front with a flying horse. They are 7" tall, and 5" wide. They both have wicks inside. One wick is black, and one is white(unused? I don't see any obvious damage to these, and the glass is brightly colored with no cracks. I don't know too much about these, so if you have any specific questions, let me know. I am happy to help. Recently acquired them at an auction that a party's collection of marine/nautical items were being sold. We will have a number of these pieces for sale separately in our Ebay store. The lanterns would make a great gift or keep them for yourself. I would guess these lanterns are of pre-World War II vintage. The lamps were made by Yankee American Auto Lamp Co. They were in NY. Great set of port(red) and navigation(blue) metal and brass ship lanterns for your decor needs. The lanterns were probably electrified originally and are now electrified for home decor ... moreneeds. The lanterns still have the hanging rings on the top of them. The red lens lantern has a brass colored finish. The blue lens lantern has a nickel plated finish. The lenses in each one are glass and not cracked or blistered. Only exception is blue one which has a blister that runs about 1.5" across the top of it where it meets the metal of the lantern. The lantern cases are in good shape. They show some finish loss and some minor dings and dents. Each lantern is 6" tall. By 4.5" across, by 4.5" wide. The cords in the lanterns are older, but still look to be in usable condition. I would recommend you have the cords and wiring checked out by a professional look at before using them from a safety perspective. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures. PAIR OF ANTIQUE SHIP'S RUNNING LIGHTS This is a very attractive pair of ship's lights. Made of galvanized metal. Nicely weathered. Believe that were made in the 1920's.They are not a matching pair but they are pretty well matched as they are of identical style and dimension. The Port light has a badge with the inscription"British Manufacture" and because of the style and construction is to be believed that the Starboard light is of the same origin. Both have slide out oil burners with respective wicks and glass tubes, the wick adjusters are working normally. The Starboard blue-green glass is cracked but is firmly set and not at all loose(see photo) Measurements: 11 1/2" tall(without handle) x 6"wide x 6"wide. My father purchased this ship lantern in 1964 at moss point Mississippi.It came from one of the ships in the National Defense Reserve(Ghost Fleet) that was anchored in Blakeley River. AL. It's in good shape with a few signs of age and wear. The glass does have a small ship in it. Its condition is further detailed in the photographs. This item is an antique ship's lamp with blue glass. It is very heavy brass or bronze. Eight inches tall, six in diameter, this has not been converted to 110Va.c. Antique Ships Lanterns Blue & Red Glass Vortex Burners Nautical
Up for sale is this fantastic pair of ships lanterns. One has a blue glass fresnel. The other red glass. Both have Vortex burners. I am not sure if these are currently functioning, both fonts and one burner show solder repairs. The lanterns themselves are in very good condition, the bottom of the blue is a little warped, both need to be cleaned on the interior, there is one small chip on the rib of the red glass that is all the way to the side, a few small chips on the left side of the blue glass, and a little larger chip on the rib on the top right rib. These chips are only noticeable from close inspection, you won't see them from 3 feet away. Measure about 10 1/2" tall not including the loop.

This HELVICS SHIPS LANTERN has been electrified but honestly if I were going to keep it. I'd remove the light and use a contained candle but that's just me. Either way as you can see, it is very nice to look at. I believe that it is white metal with a brass and copper patina. The patina is great and this lantern displays beautifully. I think that blue is starboard but I could be wrong. You can see the small chips to the left side of the glass but you have to really look hard to see them and they in no way detract from the beauty of this 100 plus year old lantern.this is a very good quality lantern and it took a while to figure out that it might not be brass. I made a very small scratch at the very bottom of the front that you will never see and I looked at it with a jewelers loop and it looks like white metal. On the lantern there ... moreis what appears to be a thin layer very old tar or something black spots. I took a lot of it off with the back of a spoon. It kinda just pops off. I have no clue as to why this was put on but most is gone and the lamp looks great. First let me say that I'm not sure what the lens were used for. I was told it was for a boat. This auction is for red& blue glass globe/ lens/ lamps for a boat/ ship for signaling. The lens opening is about 2 5/8" x 3 1/4" tall. The red lens has a dimple on the top( it doesn't go through to the other side) NOTE: MOST OF THE THINGS I SELL OR USED AND VINTAGE ITEMS. Beautiful large Bow/ Stern lantern- light. 11.5" long4 1/4" wide Height 3 3/4" Stamped inside it says AC 9000-1 Pat Pend also a watch dial with the numbers 12- 3- 6 and 9 highlighted! It weigh over 4 pounds and it is very solid. The chrome is in very good condition and I would not re chrome at this point. Some very light pitting! The lenses are plastic in excellent condition! Not sure if this came off a Riva. Chris Craft, Higgins, Garwood etc! Thank you for looking!
