Very ornate, and very well ... moremade. As you can see from the new picture I added. This lamp is 100% working! It appears to me a though the pitcher spout at the top of the lamp is brass. While the bottom part, with its patina, is a bronze metal. The pieces are joined by wood dividers. And there is a wooden base that measures close to 6.5" in diameter, and is 7" tall before you get to the bronze. I had originally picked this up to custom stain the wood. And use it in my own place, but I never had time. Now my decor has changed. And so it's time to pass this gem on to someone who can use it. The wooden base has some scuffs and rubs on it. But no cracks or damage is visible. The original felt bottom is still intact. The height of the lamp in its entirety. Up until the base of the socket, is a whopping 20"21" inches. The diameter. At its widest point, is 6"7" inches. The cord is a decent 7' feet long. I've included a picture of the lamp with a shade to give you an idea of what the lamp might look like when you're finished with its completion. This shade is NOT included in the auction with the lamp. As you can see from the first 2 pics vs. the rest of the pics. I recently finished adding a brand new socket to the lamp, and the other pictures are from before I had that part completed. The lamp is as it appears in the first two pictures: working. And complete! except for the shade, which is not included in this auction) I have a HUGE collection of vintage lighting. Extending from swag lamps to table lamps, that I'm going to be listing for sale over the next couple of months, so be sure to take advantage of the variety and prices! Large Antique Vintage Ships Lantern Light Brass Electrified Nautical Marine Lamp
Hi. Up for sale is a vintage brass ship light that has been converted to a lamp. It looks great but has some wear and issues. It has some rust around the seams. There are a couple small chips in the glass. The glass globe is upside down. There is a screw missing off the back. There is no lamp shade. The lamp shade holder is loose. The dimensions(without the lamp extension) are about 16" to the top of the handle. It is about 10.5" deep and 10.5" wide.

Lots of hand work went into this old lamp. Smaller binnacle's were lit with one small lamp like this one. Larger compasses needed two larger lamps. A little rough around the edges but its all there. Three components are the oil burner itself, the lamp carrier with the handle& the base tag attaches to the compass housing with the angled shade. Vintage (Possibly Antique) Pair Brass Port & Starboard Marine Boat Oil Lanterns
Very nice pair of brass port and starboard oil lamps. I dont see any markings on either of them. May or may not be antique. Would look great cleaned up. I have not used them so cannot 100% guarantee that they work. Wicks look good. And move up and down. I do not see any holes in oil containers. Red coloring is flaking off of the port lantern. Fuel holder part has been soldered near top(this may be a manufacturer's doing, and not a repair, since all seem to have it) and glass chimney is cracked near top. See photos for condition. Pair of Vintage Antique Brass Perko Marine Ship Oil Lamp Lanterns Port Starboard
This listing is for a pair of Vintage Antique Perko Nautical Marine Ship Port and Starboard Oil Lamp Lanterns. Both lanterns are marked Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. Perko Brooklyn. NY, USA. The lanterns are in good shape for their age and the lanterns themselves stand about 9 inches tall. They do have some dents and dings towards the tops of the lanterns but the glass has no cracks and is in good shape. They do have alot of oxidation, minor on the outside and major on the inside. I was not going to clean them because I did not want to discolor them but they will hopefully clean up very nicely if cleaned properly. In the last picture you can see one hinge is slightly bent so it is a little harder to close and open that side of the lantern but each opening on the lanterns do lock.
