This auction is for an antique boat lantern. On the top it says. Trade Mark Triplex, Lens Pat Dec. 20, Pat’d 1910, other pats. Pend. On the back it says. Patented April 1 st. 1913. It has a red(port) lens and a green(starboard) lens. Maybe the green is really blue. In between is a removable brass screen. It is 7.5” tall. The top has 2 holes on opposite sides. It must have had a handle. The burner is missing. There is nothing in the bottom. You would be able to electrify it easily. There 2 dents on the red side above the glass. According to eBay policy. Google the name"big ship salvage" and you will learn more about who we are! This is a hard one to find! It measures 9 1/2 inches by 5 inches. And is 5 inches tall. It weighs 8 pounds. Constructed of all cast brass. These is a vintage light that we recovered from the Great Lakes Region. This light has four mount holes, two on each end of the light. You will need a mounting surface no smaller than 2 1/2 X 9 1/2 inches. To access the bulb, you spin free the two wing nuts and the cage and glass come off as one piece. We have installed a new bulb holder and wiring this light that is UL-Listed and made by Westinghouse Electric. The bulb holder takes a normal screw in house bulb of 50 watts or less. Complete with an Inner Brass Oil Kerosene Lantern Burner It has a Wide Hanging Handle, Punched Vents. It is in Good-very good Vintage Condition, There is expected tarnish/patina present There is a small non sharp chip on the top door glass within the beveling. Ther door hinge is a little warped but it closes and latches ok measurement are: 13-1/2"tall including the handle. Approximately 4" wide across the lantern body, 5-1/4"wide across glass pane's x 51/4" wide across bottom. The oil container unscrews for filling, there is an unused wick inside the oil container. Here is a very old QUALITY made BRASS/ BRONZE? NAUTICAL SHIP LIGHT. This ANTIQUE NAVIGATION light has a 6 1/2 inch base across and is about 5 1/2 inches tall. This light has really nice AGED PATINA and is a GREAT SHOW DISPLAY PIECE. there ARE 5 base bolts with this light. There are no interior parts. The glass shows on only 1/2 side of the light which was probably for a forward facing deck light. I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS WAS FROM A SHIP MAST? There are no makers marks. Very HEAVY about 7 lbs. The glass has a couple of flake specs see photo3 that are normal for a light this age. There is not cracks that go through only the flakes. This is a great nautical ANTIQUE FROM A TIME GONE BY. RARE UNMODIFIED ANTIQUE BRASS SHIP ANCHOR LANTERN MARITIME NAUTICAL COPPER RIVET
Up for sale is RARE UNMODIFIED ANTIQUE BRASS SHIP ANCHOR LANTERN. This is such a great find because as just stated it is UNMODIFIED. Meaning it has NOT been converted over to electric. This lamp features a brass body with handmade copper rivets. All the hardware(rivets. Hinges, hasps, etc) appear to be hand made/forged. The ANCHOR brass label is applied on the top section which opens to expose the burner. The hook and chain to secure the hinged top are still intact. There is also a hinged top cap for flame inspection. When you open the top cap you will see that the chimney is triple insulated. It has a Frenzel type lens which appears to be old and original glass. The oil tank and burner assembly fits snug inside the lantern. Upon removal of the burner assembly from the oil tank. The wick is new and the inside of the oil tank has no residue ... moreor oil smell, suggesting it has to have been either cleaned very thoroughly(with several areas inside the tank unreachable) or possibly never used! Even though it seems to be the latter of the two options we still say possibly due to now documentation or provenance on the lantern beyond the current owner. This lack of evidence of use is consistent with inside of the metal chimney where no obvious traces of soot can be found. The base has aspiration vents all around it. The burner's wick knob has the words"SHERWOODS LTD. B'HAM MADE IN ENGLAND" on it. Making this from the very early 1900s at the latest from what we can find on the company. We have no reason to believe that this burner insert is anything but original to the lantern. Meaning we believe the lantern to be from the same time period. If anyone knows any different please share with us. In use this lamp would have been hauled up the ship's mast with halyards. To secure it as such. The lamp is equipped with substantial brass bail handles on the top and bottom. These are attached to heavy cast brass brackets riveted to the body of the lamp. It was built in the early 1900’s by Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. And has their name, city, state, and the“PERKO” trademark stamped on the belt clip. Also, BOAT SIGNAL” in a very large font) is stamped just above hinged door. This lantern features two adjustable handles, belt clip, 3” round clear bullseye lens, and a rotating shutter. Included is the original brass oil font tank and burner, which has“PERKO U.S.A. signed on the wick adjusting knob. Overall, the lamp measures 8½” tall x 3½” wide x 5” deep and weighs two pounds. amazing antique vintage brass oil lantern. I dont know exactly the age of the piece but it is in really good shape. This is a beautiful copper and brass kerosine anchor light with a nice aged patina. It is in is in excellent condition. There are no dents. Cracks or missing parts. All parts are made with heavy gauge copper and brass. The lens is thick heavy glass. You can see some small air bubbles inside the glass) This is truly a quality lamp that will last for many years. F H LOVELL& CO.Antique Brass Nautical Ships Lantern late 1800's lamp. This lantern looks great! The glass is thick and very old. There are no flaws.Chips or cracks in the glass. I was going to electrify this lantern but it would not go with any of our other decor.Just a couple of slight dents in the brass from use. Right now there is no means by which to light this lantern. I dropped in a light bulb to show off the color of the glass when illuminated. This is a great piece of history. F H Lovell started around the civil war era. It made marine lanterns primarily. By the early 1920's the name was changed because the company merged with a railroad lantern company so this lantern was most likely manufactured around 1880. The lantern is 10 inches tall(14 inches tall with handle) and the width is 9 inches in diameter.

I have up for auction a really nice pair of vintage/antique Russell& Stoll Co. New York wall sconces. This pair is in very good condition but as can be seen will need rewiring to be functional. The back of the sconces appear to be made from galvanized metal. The rest of the light and cage portion are I believe to be brass. Cages open and close with a spring latch. Which can be easily removed by pulling up on the two brass handles in opposing corners. The chimney is in like new condition and the wick raiser works like a dream. There are four outer glass panes that easily slide in and out for cleaning. They are crystal clear and in very good condition with no visible chips. The rivets on this lantern are copper. Vintage Antique STERN Nautical Hong Kong Copper Brass Oil Navigation Lantern 9"
This lantern was probably acquired in Singapore where my father-in-law operated a salvage diving business in the 70's.he was US Navy Diver. Who spent a lot of time on boats-and then driving ships, once he retired. The wick is trimmed, slides securely down and there is a reflector that slides in behind it. The wick cap does not click securely to the oil reservoir, though. The thumb wheel turns the wick up and there is one to open the hatch to pull up and refill the reservoir. The top clicks down securely where the ring is positioned. I have some better pictures but am having some trouble uploading from that camera. Email me if you would like to see more.

Antique 1925 Handlan from St. Louis Brass Nautical Kerosene Lamp In Good Shape
Originally saved by my grandfather. This antique lantern was plucked out of storage in winter 2010. Features a 7 x 7 1/2 inch handle. Plus a dark red area that holds a kerosene lamp inside. The lantern overall measures 14 1/2 inches tall by 6 inches wide and deep. Was patented in 1913. 1915, 1922, 1923, and 1925. Awesome item for fans of maritime collectibles. Antique Brass Lantern Oil Pot Fuel Font - Early Nautical Fixed Globe Lamp Part
Here are the dimensions. The hole this pot fits is 2 1/2 inches across. The pot spans 3 1/4" across its base flange. Or outer edge. 2 inch height between top of threads and bottom of Sangster clips. Stands 2 1/4" overall. All brass. This pot has a crease in its bottom rolled edge, and one clip has been re-soldered a long time ago. The clip repair does not harm how the pot sits and both of these issues are visible in the pictures. The threads are 7/8ths across and suffer no damage. Springs are strong and pot will hold oil. I package well and ship fast. Insurance is included in shipping cost. Shipping quote is for the continental United States only. Alaska. Hawaii and elsewhere must be adjusted for. Large ANTIQUE Double Stacked SHIPS LIGHT Clear Lens BRASS Nautical Lantern Lamp
Please read my listing thoroughly and view all my PHOTOS before bidding: Here is a large antique brass double stacked ships light with handle and clear lenses. Measures about 16" high(including the handle) x 6" wide. Weight is 8 pounds. To help give an idea of scale. In the photos I put the light next to a regular size coffee cup. There are no markings on this light that I can find. There has been no cleaning or restoration done to this light, it has quite a bit of tarnish and natural patina. There is a small dent on the top but no other dents. One of the support braces has come loose(see photo#11) The wiring is ancient and not useable. One of the lenses has a crack that runs about a third of the way up the lens(see photo#12)there are no other cracks and no chips on either of the lenses. Vintage-Antique Brass Nautical Blue Navigation Ship Light
Vintage. Original, nautical ship's light for navigation, shade is blue, made from brass, removed from abandoned ship on the Sacramento River as the ship, named"Sea Song" was listing to one side. Approx. 8" tall and 4" dia. There are a few chips in glass. But piece is still lovely.
