30" tall x 20" wide. The base is 14 x14" This is very well made. It came from an estate, and will look good in any mansion, garden, yard, patio, lawn, deck, or palace. If you like it clean looking the paint will come off easily. It is heavy gauge and will last a life time. It's about 1/3" thick. When pics were taken there was ice and dirt in it. Picture it with a new coat of paint, black or white. It is heavy so shipping is difficult. You may have to arrange a shipper. The"Iron Age" seeder is not your average and still retains it's original forest green paint and advertising painted label on the front. Look at the gold painted seed separator wheel which reads Cel.Tur, On'n, Radish, Spin, Pars, Beet, On the bottom corner of the label you can just read"Patented Dec 9, 1902. It stands 14 5/8" tall and 15" long from the front of the wheel to the back of the body. Most of the body is cast iron including the top flip up fill lid and the seed holder or basin is tin/metal. Vintage Antique Cast Iron Architectural Garden Lion Head Statue Planter Pot
This measures approx 29" back to paw18.5" from top of head to floor. There's a little bit of concrete in the bottom. You can see it in the pictures. I believe this was a statue that someone made into a planter by adding the concrete. So it can serve 2 purposes. The concrete helps to hold the dirt but it's not all the way through. This has a weathered look and there is rust. I noticed a groove in the head that looks like a piece may have broke off at some time and there's a spot on the bottom that's the same. This is old and it's not perfect. It has a very rustic look to it. It's so very unusual. The patterns are beautiful and unique. ANTIQUE CAST IRON KETTLE WITH THREE LEGS FOR GARDEN PLANTER OR HOME DECOR This kettle came from a farm(one family for over 100 years) in north central PA that had a piece broken out of it decades ago and was used as a garden planter. Approximately 13.25" across and 8" high which includes the legs that are about 2.75" The piece that is missing leaves a space approximately 5" x 2.5" Using plastic. Perhaps a piece of milk bottle, would"fix" the open spot to make a great planter. The remnants of both white and red paint is still on the kettle in places.

Once in a previous lifetime I worked at Lord& Taylor as the manager of the Fine Jewelry Department. Since I got such great discounts as an employee I ended up buying far more that I could ever wear. I am continually amazed and then frightened by the amount of clothing that I brought home. Ripped the tags off saying MINE and then slid it into the closet waiting til I could fit into it. Many years ago someone in Maine decided that one of these very old dutch ovens would make a cool rustic planter! Can be a hanging planter because of the sturdy handle. I would never be able to drill holes in this cast iron and we don't know who figured this out. But you won't find very many planters like this! I have used it for a summer and it is well seasoned so only a bit of rust appeared on the bottom.
