The former owners had lived there since he had gotten out of the military after enlisting during WWII. And her family had been on the property for generations before that. What I have is an older vintage wrought iron wall mounting window box- isn't it great? Made of wrought iron. This oldee has seen some time outside, and has the BEST ... moreshabby rusty patina. You can see just peeks of the original white(like I'm showing in photo 14) but the peeks are few and far between- mostly just the rust covered iron. It's surface only- no sharp edges etc. You could paint it if you wanted to, but I love it just the way it is. This is a nice sized box- measuring 35 1/2" widest- from the outside of the decorative curled loops all around, 32 1/2" wide measuring from inside of the box, 9 7/8" deep(front to back) on the outside, 8 1/4" deep inside the box at the top, 7 3/4" deep inside the box at the bottom/floor of the box, 5 3/4" tall measuring from the bottom to the top of the curly loops, and 4 1/2" tall from the bottom to the frame that runs along the inside(onto which the curly loops are welded) It weighs 5 1/2 lbs. At the back, there's 3 up pointing triangles from which you mount the box. Perfect for you to line with moss and plant in, but large enough for you to put individual potted plants in too. 2 Old Primitive Vintage Wrought Iron In Ground Spike Garden Candle Holders Who-hoo- went to my first auction of the summer- it was a farm estate auction literally right down the street from me. The former owners had lived there since he had gotten out of the military after enlisting during WWII. And her family had been on the property for generations before that. It’s all farm stuff- household, barn, outbuildings, property- many items from the 1800s and up. Lot of old iron, barn digs, primitives and pretties- I’m so excited to show them to you! Enjoy! Oh my gosh- this pair is soooo cool! I'm calling them older vintage in my title. But I do think that they could be old enough to be antique- and how often have you see ones like this? It's a pair of wrought iron garden spikes- meant to stick in the ground and hold tall tapered candles. ... moreIt's a matching pair- perfect for the entry to your walkway or garden- and what a statement they will make! The each measure 39" tall in total, 38" tall to the top of the drip trays, the drip trays are 4 1/4" diameter, but 5 1/4" wide as there's a decorative loop of iron on 4 sides, 3/4" square at the candle well(it's square, as it's made of 4 pieces of flat iron coming up, but it held my grocery store bought standard tapered candles well when I tried them) and the pole that sticks in the ground is 3.8" diameter. The pole alone is 35 1/4" tall from the bottom of the drip tray to the bottom of the pole- so you have lots of room to adjust and decide- how tall, or how short you want them to be. Each candle holder weighs 1 1/2 lbs. They are in excellent solid and sturdy condition. With a very very worn black finish that you really only see peeks of from the underside of the drip trays. On the top, and the poles, it's pretty much a coating of surface rust- surface only, with no holes, or eat throughs etc. There's more pitting to the iron on the bottom ends of the poles where they stuck in the ground(see photo 10- sorry for

DESCRIPTION: Vintage. 3-tiered wrought iron garden cart and/or flower cart. The framework is constructed from heavy gauge wrought iron and bottoms of the carts are from a wrought iron mesh. The sides of the carts have a nice but simple scrolled design. Although it has 3 tiers. The middle and top tiers form a single unit that fits snugly into the inside of the lower cart. When taken apart. The middle/upper unit can rest steadily on the ground due to the design of the triangular-shaped frame. The bottom cart has a single scrolled handle the entire width for pushing it along. All of the spokes in the wheel are intact and the wheel still has both of the hubs. Note the star design in the spokes. You can either choose to refinish(sandblast and repaint) or leave as is for a lovely shabby piece for a vintage garden. DIMENSIONS: 5’ Tall as one unit ... moreLower/Middle unit alone: 33” Tall x 36” Long(to include the handle and 21 ½” deep. Top unit(top/middle) is 31 ½” Wide x 11” wide Bottom cart: Approx. 31 ¾” Wide x 16 ¾” Deep CONDITION: Please view the photos very carefully. With the exception of the rust(that gives it character) It’s in perfect condition. Some places have extensive rusting. There are no holes in the mesh anywhere. This listing is for a tall(41 inch) black wrought iron planter. Some years back it was found in the attic of a very old home in Pennsylvania. I am assuming it is a planter but the opening for the plant container is only 3 inches in diameter. As you can see in the photo. On three bars which extend upwards, there are three hooks attached. In very good condition. Please see the images. Measures 18 1/2" tall at the top ball finial by approx. 16 1/2" at the widest diametor of the iron by approx. 15" from foot to foot. The glass top measures 15 1/2" and is held in place by the ball finials. It pops right out. So the glass can be turned over. There are four tiny chips to the edge of the glass as shown. The chips are tiny. Not really seen, and are magnified in these images. They could be turned to the bottom side. There are a few fine light scratches to the glass. Not detrimental. Otherwise. This listing is for a set of 41 pieces of Garden Border Fencing. These are not really an item I am familiar with and I couldn't find any exactly like them to compare. I believe they are vintage. Cast/wrought iron and“powder coated” not an expert, so these are guesses) They are very heavy, not cheap flimsy metal like modern ones. They do show some weathering. I do not have time to detail each and every mark. Most are in good condition, a few show more wear/rust than others(see close up of worst example, maybe 1/2 dozen or less) They have hooks/hinges on the ends to hold together/rotate direction. There are 30 that are about 18” wide and 11 that are 6” Which if I did my math correctly is about 50 feet. Great antique very heavy and curly wrought sign hanger. or(now) garden/yard art. it measures about 30" high and about 16" deep(front to back) The 1" wide iron is thick and very heavy. I think it would have been strapped to a wall or ceiling. and one can drill holes in the flat iron piece on the back to attach if strapping is difficult. There is a rivet or screw gone from one of the curly sections which attaches to the back brace. As pictured. There is rust but it's strong and sound. and a"bump" on the back side, as shown.

Up for auction is a Beautiful Antique VICTORIAN WROUGHT IRON and WICKER PLANT STAND with Removable Upper basket and lower shelf. fresh from a large local Estate overlooking the Niagara River. It is approx. 37.75" Tall x 27" Wide x 12.5" Deep including Top Basket. Base alone is 28.75" Tall x 25" Wide x 11.5" Deep. to top of Basket. 25" High to bottom of basket. All the iron is in excellent used condition. It has been outside and has some rust spots but is very solid.
