Antique Hand Held Scythe. We found it hanging on the wall as a decor item in an enclosed. Garden porch at an estate sale. It's not marked for maker or age, my best guess is that it dates to around 1930. Wooden handle. The blade is held to the metal curved part by 2 rivets. The blade is about 12" long, it weighs 1 pound. Condition: A lot of wear on the wood handle; splits. Scrapes a few little paint spots. All metal parts are covered in rust. No dings on the blade, all the parts are tight. All questions are welcomed. Antique Farm Horse Drawn Plow Blade made by Lynchburg Plough Company
This item was recently discovered while metal detecting on an old homestead in Southern West Virginia. This blade was made at the Lynchburg Plough Company from 1896 to 1902. This is a cast iron V shaped blade. The name Lynchburg 260 is found in the middle of the plow blade clearly visible. This blade makes a great blade for restoration of a horse drawn plow or makes a great wall hanger because of the Lynchburg logo on it.

This antique hand plow beam is made of solid steel and measures approximately 41.5 inches from tip of hitch to furthest point at arch. It is made of steel and is very. Very heavy. Probably manufactured about 100 years ago, it has spent its entire life outdoors. It is completely covered in rust, but still has a good amount of detail. This is a lot of 10 very small windmill blades that were salvaged off of one of those small windmills made for yard decoration. They are made of steel and measure about 3 7/8" by 2 3/4" I think they would make cool decor pieces. Maybe use a round mirror or picture in the center.
