I checked and ... moreit is water tight and the handle is also nice and tight. The top is marked with a#8. Holds approx one gallon. There are areas of wear and markings on this can but I think it just adds to it's character. Take a look at the pictures and ask all questions before bidding. It is 12" tall to top of handle and is 7 1/2" in diameter. This watering can comes with two sprinkler heads. Both having the remnants of the original red and green paint. Both heads fit the spout. One sprinkler is about 3 1/2" in diameter and the other is 2 3/4" in diameter. I will mention that when pouring water through the sprinkler heads water does drip through the screw fitting area. It does not affect the way the water comes through the head. I tried to show a picture of how both heads pour. If you look close you will see it is not a perfect shower but not so bad that you drench the flower pot.

Here are a pair of metal watering cans. The galvanized steel one has lines running up ways on its side. The part where the spout attaches to has a art deco looking design on it. I believe the can holds about 7-8 qts. There is some rust as you can see. Mainly by the spout. One side has a dent. Can probably be straightened out. Overall there are scuffs and scratches and a couple of very minor dents. The bail handle is missing the wooden part. Can holds water and has no holes. This one weighs 2 lbs 7 ounces unpacked. Height to the rim only measures 9-1/2" From the side handle to the bottom of the spout approx 16-1/2" The diameter of the body is 8" The smaller tin? can holds water as well. Great barn find! Lot of 3 buckets two galvanized one is just a metal bucket. These make great planters or just as decor in your house. I have wiped out all the surface dirt but could still use a cleaning. The metal one is rusted but not all the way through anywhere. They don't have holes. They have a few dents and dings. One has a bigger dent. See photos. Metal one is 9 1/2" tall and 11 1/2 diameter.
