Really nice antique garden fork. Nice metal cap on end. I have many letterheads. Old documents, post cards and many antique collectibles listed. There are many letterheads for hotels and railroads as well as a variety of businesses from many states. A lot of them of them are addressed to railroads and railroad agents. The raiload put a punch hole in some of them and some have staple holes. Please refer to pictures for any wear on the edges. My letterheads are mostly from 1880 to 1910 and are they are all authentic. The wooden arm contains stencils of"The American Standard" on the front and"Sheffield MF'G Co. Burr Oak, Mich. U.S.A. and"Patent Oct. 13, 1891& Patent July 25, 1893" on the back. The wood is not broken, split or cracked and the metal mechanics of the hopper work good and smooth. At the bottom of the hopper the metal disc ratchets and drops a seed down the shoot, the spring on the side pushes the foot lever forward and automatically resets for the next seed to be planted. It's not marked for maker or age, my best guess is that it dates to around 1930. Wooden handle. The blade is held to the metal curved part by 2 rivets. The blade is about 12" long, it weighs 1 pound. Condition: A lot of wear on the wood handle; splits. Scrapes a few little paint spots. All metal parts are covered in rust. No dings on the blade, all the parts are tight. All questions are welcomed. Antique Garden Hand Cultivator Weeding Rake Hoe Old Vintage Barn Tool Cottage
Up for your consideration is an Older Vintage Rustic Hand Cultivator Hoe/ Rake with Yellow Paint. Has Original Wooden handle in Very good condition. It has surface rust and a lot of nice patina. This Cultivator has a great look and is nice and solid. The Shovel/rake Steel metal part is 7" long by 2 3/4"wide. Three tines are 3 1/2" in length and Hoe the same in length 2 3/8" wide. The Wooden handle is in excellent shape 10" into the Metal. The Yellow iron stem is 2 3/4" Weight aprox. 8 ounces. No bent tines and the hoe part is not bent either. Strong iron metal. Quality made. Nice Vintage Garden hand Tool weed whacker cutter saw Planet Jr.
Unusual vintage garden hand tool in vintage condition. Imprinted on blade is Planet Jr USA This is a curved blade saw. I guess. I'm assuming it is used to saw off weeds below the surface to get the roots? Neat little tool that will be a great addition to your tools, to use or for your collection. It is solid, but has the usual signs of vintage wear, and does retain a bit of its original green paint. Handle is wood and shows wear.
