Antique Wooden Tarahumara Dolls and Drum Native American Indian Mexico
The Tarahumara Indians of Mexico live in Copper Canyon and live much the same way as their ancestors. The dolls they make are very distinctive and these are a perfect example of the old ones. They are carved with wood. Have the carved facial features of the Tarahumara dolls and are wearing the traditional fabric clothing of their dolls. These specific dolls have jointed arms and legs you can move and pose.The doll with the headband is 8 3/4" tall. The other one is 8 1/4" tall. With the two dolls is a traditional authentic Tarahumara drum measuring 4" in diameter. This is a nice set that represents the Tarahumara People and their folk art.

Really a work of art and wonderful condition. Old Penobscot Indian Basket with removable lid has ring handle- medium size7 1/4" in diameter and 4 1/4" in height. Made from splint ash. Twisted cording, and sweetgrass. No loss of weave or cave-ins, just loss of original pigment, however some of the original color can be seen on the inside of the basket and the inside of the lid. Likely from the late 1800's or early 1900's. One tiny break in the weave which we pictured in the last photograph. The handle is vertical in first picture just to show shape! Features: This is a very nice approx antique(art deco era earlier 1900's) heavy adjustable drop pendant necklace. ALL metals are made of sterling silver. Has 2 cabochon hand cut oxblood cut coral gems and 2 fine turquoise gemstones. 1 nugget cut and other oval cut. Turquoise stones and coral gems are all of very good quality. Turquoise stones total approx 5 cts, 1 at a little over 2.7 cts ts and the other at approx 2.3 cts. Coral gems total a little over 1.5 cts, 1 at a little over 3/4 cts and the other at approx 3/4 cts. Necklace is highly collectible. Of very'old pawn' beautifully Native American indian hand crafted. Very likely it's by Julian Lovato of the Kewa tribe. Based on his type of earlier work. This is another Indian basket I'm selling for a local estate. It is a Paiute winnowing tray or basket from the Great Basin. Eastern Sierra. Judging from the other baskets in this estate, I would guess it dates 1920's to 1930. It has the looser weave. It is in very good condition, although there are four places along the rim that have come undone. It is a little soiled.

Here's a unique& interesting piece. An old handmade Native American wood& cloth papoose from the early 1900's. This came from upstate New York so I think it could possibly be Mohawk or Iroquois or another NY tribe, but I can safely assume its origins were in the Northeast U.S. It remains in very good, structurally sound condition; no cracks in the wood. Album measures approximately 5 5/8 x 8 inches and photographs are approximately 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 which are a rare size for this period. Interestingly. I've looked at tens of thousands of photographs and have never seen a hand cannon pictured and it appears to read WRA(Winchester Repeating Arms) Appears to be a brass Winchester 98 Signal Cannon- The 10 gauge, Winchester Model 98 Breech Loading Signal Cannon was designed and patented by Charles H. One piece is signed on the back: AMERICAN INDIAN DEPT. MUSEUM( and the last word is illegible. The plate is made of vegetable fibers and measures 10” in diameter. It's in a good condition. The basket is made of vegetable fibers too. But the condition is poor due to older age. On the side of the basket the rows of weaving material are split in many spots, the bottom is separated in two spots. The top rim is torn in a few spots. Beautiful Antique Native American Straw Needle Work Bowl Basket
This amazing Basket came out of a huge collection of an Ethnographic Collectors Estate. This piece i believe is a Native American basket and judging from the wear and the simpler pattern it is quite old. I am not an expert on identifying Native American Basket Patterns. But if you will indulge my analysis this appear s to me to be very similar to Papago or Pima. It has lot of character to it and is a quite lovely piece. I guarantee this piece to be old, and of Native American originaation, as to which Group this came from you will have to make your own decisions.

Very old antique Signed Native American Bolo tie slide in silver metal may be silver I don't know. I do not have the right things to check. It has gorgeous turquoise elongated stones. It is clearly an Eagle and is clearly stamped by the maker on the back. it looks to be the old way of the Totum Pole marker. It has one eye but appears to be looking both ways and turned both ways. It is a very striking piece. It is very hard to tell and doesn't take away from this piece but it is missing one single elongated stone on outer wing. Antique Native American Sioux Beaded Bead Work Hide Moccasins | SC BOI
Up for auction is a pair of antique Native American Sioux beaded moccasins. The pair are made of a soft animal hide while still having rough soles. The moccasins measure approximately 9" long and 4" wide. And weigh 116g. The moccasins are in good condition considering their age; the left moccasin has a few holes in the sole and a couple spots where the beads are falling off the moccasin. I'm sure the beads could easily be repaired by a professional. Both moccasins still have their laces. The beads used are an amazing array of turquoise. Black, and red colored creating a great flow of arrow and triangle shaped geometric designs. These are moccasins truly an historic item and would be great for Native American collectors.
