Antique Manchester Sterling Silver Indian Head Spoon Ring Sz. 7.5 - 12 (US)
An Indian figural spoon ring of this quality is difficult to find. Manchester produced these souvenir spoons during the first decade of the 20th century. This one is from Deming. New Mexico. The design continues all the way around the ring, on the inside, too. Under the high relief Indian chief's head are two minutely detailed ears of corn. On the inside is a teepee and a canoe. Free custom sizing from a size 7.5 to 12(US) I taper the narrow end of the ring that goes under the front to a thickness of less than 1mm. This creates a smooth totally round inner surface, looking more like a conventional ring than a spoon ring. Payment is due within 24 hours. Using PayPal. This antique cast iron toy Indian brave is mounted on his pony and altogether it is about 3" long and it stands about 3 1/8" tall. The toy was made by the Grey Iron Co. Mt Joy Pa. and it is one of the their cast iron cowboy-Western series. The figure is beautifully formed with good detail and it is nicely hand painted. There is some wear but over all the figure is in good original condition with no breaks or repairs. Ca. 1920s-1930s. Very unusual! Antique Cigar Store Indian Chalk Bust of Hiawatha
This Victorian period cigar store display piece would be a wonderful addition to any collection. A chalk bust of Hiawatha it still has it's original hand painted finish with the expected patina of paint loss. There are also some surface pieces of several of the claws in the necklace that have chipped away(see photos) I have priced it in consideration of this. Usually when I see these busts they have been touched up or repainted. I think they have more character when the history shows a little. It is approximately 19.5 x 11.5 inches with a pedestal that is 6.5 x 6.5. Please let me know if you have questions.

Gilt and a deep Flo Blue, this appears to have been done over a Transfer Pattern. The approximate size of each plate is 23.7cm diameter out to the wide raised rim x 13.8cm diameter at the foot rim. The Makers Backstamp Design and Diamond firmly dates these plates to January 1882. Condition is used with age marking on both plates.There is fine glaze crazing to both. 1 plate has a thin stable crack at the rim while the other has a crack at the underside just to the right of the Registration Diamond. These will make lovely display pieces or just to add to your existing pieces. Here we have a beautiful and RARE find and that would be a vintage hand carved wood beaver effigy SHAMAN Rattle. I obtained it from an estate of an elderly college Art Professor who's family told me traveled extensively as a young woman collecting folk and native american[ Indian] art. As you can see has an old type written label attached to the handle of the rattle that says" Shaman Beaver Rattle byTotom Pole Carver MUNGO 1948 UBC Vancouver BC" I goggled"Mungo" and i think this is Mungo Martin that was born in 1879 and died in 1962 and who was a Canadain Native Indian[ First Nations] that is well known for the Totem Poles he carved as well as his other wood carvings. Aparently he did much work for schools and museums including restoration of original Totem Poles and carvings. I am far from being an expert on these ... moreitems but from my limited research the old label does seem to make sense but please take a look at all my photos and make up your mind.Rattle stands about 14 inch from the bottom of the handle to the top of the head. Head is about 6 1/2 inch across. Is hand carved out of a soft wood. Not sure of the type, Maybe White cedar? Painted Green, Red and Black highlights as you can see. Is Done Exctreamly well with nice sharp crisp cuts and detailed. Is made in two sections so it could be hollowed out, back of head was then attached. This piece has devoloped a crack or seperation, still attached and solid but just has a slight seperation on both sides. Please see my photos to see what i am talking about. Rattle still rattles but not very loud.No other damage, just some minor wear from storage. Antique Zuni Indian silver turquoise channel inlay bracelet old pawn
A very fine old Zuni silver bracelet with fantastic matrixed turquoise. Done in the hollow style developed at Zuni in the late 1940s. The bracelet was made in the 1950s, and shows all the wear and technical characteristics of a top-quality piece from that era. There are no hallmarks, as is typical of that era. The silver has not been tested, but is guaranteed to be coin or higher in purity. The story we were told by old-time traders in Gallup is that the wife of C. G. Wallace(one of the major traders on the Zuni reservation) was told by ladies in her Gallup ladies' club that they could not wear much of the jewelry made by her husband's artists because. Though it was beautiful, it was too heavy to wear comfortably. In response, Wallace worked with some of his best smiths(Roger Skeet Sr. in particular) to develop bracelets that were ... morehollow inside, so that while they could support the intricate inlay work for which Zunis are famous, they could be worn by less muscular women without discomfort. Hollow silver bracelets like this one are still made at Zuni today. What sets this bracelet apart is the fantastic quality of the inlay and the matrix of the turquoise. Most later bracelets of this type are less precisely inlaid. And the turquoise used is generally either the pure blue Sleeping Beauty or the even purer blue block turquoise(which roughly translates to blue plastic) This turquoise is likely from one of the Nevada mines, maybe Royston. Weight is 52 grams. And the inside circumference(not including the opening) is 5 3/16" The opening is 1 1/8" wide(not adjustable, unfortunately) At its widest point, the bracelet is 1" wide. A very fine old Navajo silver bracelet with a row of 7 rectangular turquoise. With the center stone set against the grain. The bracelet was made in the 1920s, and shows all the wear and technical characteristics of a top-quality piece from that era. There are no hallmarks, as is typical of that era. The silver has not been tested, but is guaranteed to be coin or higher in purity. The artist started with a silver band. Probably pounded out from an ingot slug. He then stamped the ends, using a very fine long arrow stamp, an X stamp and a chevron stamp. After bending the band to shape, he set the seven silver bezels and added silver balls between them. Finally, he set the turquoise, which is not identifiable as being from a specific mine but is probably from one of the early Nevada mines, such as Royston. The end result is a very wearable treasure, ... morea great example of the Navajo smith's art. Over time, as a result of being worn with other bracelets, the silver balls have become worn down on the sides, just as you would expect from an older bracelet. Weight is 42 grams. And the inside circumference(not including the opening) is 6 1/8" The opening is 1" wide, and can be adjusted in or out with care. At its widest point, the bracelet is 1/2" wide. We believe that this cradle is circa 1900 century based on the cloth and other materials used in this piece. It is in relic condition. It does show wear. We are estimating late 19th century to early 20th century. GREAT old antique strand American Indian small Graduated TRADE BEADS--NR!
Up for bids/buy it now is this very old trade necklace strung on what seems to be old string or sinew. Seems very durable so it's probably sinew. The strand measures approx. about 23" long. All of the small glass beads are different sizes. The largest bead is probably about 5mm and they go down to about 4mm. They do graduate in size. The smaller beads are at the tie in the back of the necklace and the larger beads are to the front. The middle adorns a larger(about 10mm) clear red glass bead and there are 2 metal beads on both sides of the clear red bead. This necklace is a found piece around Arkansas. I believe they are called Chevron beads but not certain about that. I know they are authentic and original and old. I purchased from a collector long ago. ANTIQUE NATIVE AMERICAN BEADWORK IROQUOIS INDIAN BEADED PINCUSHION WHIMSY
This auction is for a handmade antique Native American Iroquois Indian seed/bugle beaded pincushion Whimsey featuring leaves. At least it was at one time a pincushion. But it is missing the underside. The entire frame is in pretty good condition aside from a slit in the base(see last photo) and a couple of places where there is some very minor bead loss or a small strand is detached. This is not a major issue. As one can see from photos, the center portion featuring a bird on a branch has come apart from the center due to age. The fabric has shattered. This can be repaired by placing another textile underneath which is authentic of the era. It is a beautiful piece and worthy of being restored. The beadwork is very dense(see Photos 9-10- depth of 1/8" from surface ground) It measures approximately 6 1/4" x 7" measured on the ... moreunderside) The inside square measures about 4.5" x 4" The bird motif measures about 4.5" x 3 1/4" I do not detect any missing beads. They are in shades of silvery white;pale blue. Gold, a gorgeous green shade and a very unique shade of red. The beadwork running down the center of each leaf motif is a faceted bugle bead. There are fragments of gauze and silk on the frame and the bird motif appears to have been sewn onto a rich plum silk velvet. Please note that the colors of the beadwork in photos are much more intense. They are subtle in shade and are still lovely in appearance. The bird motif also has a couple of slits, but this does not affect the beadwork whatsoever.this is also due to not having a fabric underlay due to shattering. This is original. It is being sold"AS IS" I believe that this particular one is from the 19th century.while researching on the internet. I found one almost exactly like this except it had only one bird.it was intact and was also on the same velvet, the beadwork and coloring was exact. However, the underside was complete with stuffing) It was stated that it was from the 1860s. This weighs approximately five(5) ounces.

Here is an Old Native American Indian Cradle Board made of strands of real bent wood with tiny multi-coloed beadwork design on front. And strands of hanging beads on the back. Wood Frame with leather looking grey material. It has an Old cloth doll inside. Measures 16" long x 5 3/4" wide and 6" tall. It is in VG Condition in my opinion. My father was a bush pilot in Alaska in the early 1950's. He acquired this basket on one of his flights, it has been in my family ever since. It could have been made as early as the 1940's but no later than the early 1950's when my father brought it home. Basket measures about 16" in diameter x 1.75" deep. It has some fading on the top but it's possible that a proper cleaning would help this(the basket has never been cleaned) The inner part of the handles is made of hide, the handles are little loose but still sturdy. Gorgeous Antique Pueblo Black Wedding Vase Native American Indian
This is a gorgeous antique Pueblo black wedding vase. Measuring about 6" W X 7" H. The vase was hand-built with clay from the area of the Pueblo. It was then burnished with a smooth rock which created the shiny surface when it was fired in an open-pit fire. This one is very nicely made, has some pits and surface rubbings from age, and a shallow chip on the rim of one of the spouts. Beautiful vase at a very good price. Nice piece for a collection.

From the estate of a doll collector. An original Skookum doll. It is a mother with papoose. Her blanket is sage green, blue, cream with red design. She has green felt shoes and wooden legs and feet dating her between 1917 and 1949. I am not sure if she was made by Arrow Novelty Company or H.H. Tammen Company. She has a composition head and stuffed body. She measures 12" high. She is very nice shape considering her age. I did notice chipping or crack around her neck when I pull back fabric. old antique dug relic solid shot cannonball we dug ourselves last summer along the southern shoreline of lake champlain on the Vermont side opposite crown point. Ny with a metal detector stuck in the mud. we got out and saved as many fragments as we could find, its a nice puzzle for you to put back together. its an early one from this part of the country and since the civil war was not really fought up here that makes it from the earlier wars such as the queen anne wars, king phillip wars, French& indian, rev, or war of 1812 period. an interesting artifact from a time long forgotten, the diameter is approx. 5 1/2 inches.
