NICE and RARE Native American Antique Paiute Indian Water Tus. Ca. 1930-1940 Up for auction is a rare example of an antique Pauite water tus. Dating to ca. 1920-1940. Sealed in pitch, these were used by Native American tribes of the Southwest to carry water. This example, like many from other tribes, is flat-bottomed, which would allow it to sit sturdily on rock or sand. The two looped handles are made from aniline-dyed horsehair. Measures approx. 5 1/4 inches(13.3 cm) in height by 5 3/4 inches(14.6 cm) in diameter at its widest point. Ask all questions prior to bidding. As all sales are final. Antique Early 1900s Micmac Sewing Basket Porcupine Quill Native American Indian
This early 1900s birch bark and pine needle basket is decorated with hand colored porcupine quills and measures6 ¼” tall(11” with handle) x 5” diameter and appears to be a sewing basket or similar with an opening in the lid. The handle has a clumsy tape repair(very old) and is missing some of the quills in the designs. You will note wear and unraveling about the hole. It has obviously been washed based on the red die runs making the white pink as well as some fuzziness. Otherwise. It is clean with no stains or soil spots. Colors: Red. O ffered here is a circa1900 Germantown Navaho weaving that measures 1 feet 5 inches long by 1 foot 6 inches wide or 17” x 18” and is in good condition. It was handwoven by an expert weaver on a primitive upright loom of all commercial 4-ply Germantown wool yarns on a cotton warp. The design here is a central concentric serrate diamond motif on the steel grey field. Sold“as is” with No Reserve. W e obtained this vintage Native American textile on a rug hunt in Arizona just to offer you here on eBay. It has a fine. Even weft count averaging 34 per inch and a fine warp count of 10 per inch. The selvage cords have 1” missing on one end and 1 1/2" missing on the other end along with 1 ¾” damaged area(see photo) Warp selvages are 2-spiral cords and weft selvages are natural weft loop finished around the outside warp. Three corners ... moreare original and excellent and one has a ¼” x 2” unravel. The tassels are missing. It comes from a non-smoking home. Very worn, hand-made and a gift from the Apache Indians to the Mexican Author: Jose Carlos Chavez who died in 1970. He wrote the book: Tomochi Struggling. He was also known to have lived and studied the Apache Indians in and around the state of Chihuahua, Mexico. He also- married more couples in Mexico than any other man in history, wrote many essays and un-published books as well. This is one of the last items I have and will be posting on Ebay for the serious collector of historic items. This dates back to about 1945-1950. Antique Manchester Sterling Silver Indian Head Spoon Ring
An Indian figural spoon ring of this quality is difficult to find. Manchester produced these souvenir spoons during the first decade of the 20th century. This one is from Deming. New Mexico. The design continues all the way around the ring, on the inside, too. Under the high relief Indian chief's head are two minutely detailed ears of corn. On the inside is a teepee and a canoe. Free custom sizing from a size 5.5 to 8.5(US) I taper the narrow end of the ring that goes under the front to a thickness of less than 1mm. This creates a smooth totally round inner surface, looking more like a conventional ring than a spoon ring. The front of the Indian head ring measures 9/16" wide. The ring weighs 6g. This is an amazing very old handmade Native American Indian Drum. It stands approx 2 0"24" tall and is about 1 0"12" in diameter. I actually am not with the drum as I write this but I think I am very close to the measurements. I will not be with the drum until Friday so I can revise the listing to give exact measurements at that time) It probably weighs about 9-11 lbs. It has blue paint that looks like it was applied around the 1940's. The skin hide is tight and well constructed. I've put it in the Native American category but I could be wrong. I have always thought it was of Indian origin but I don't really know. The leather is really thick. This trunk came out of a large Massachusetts estate and from what research I could do have found it is an Indian Palace trunk. Smaller versions of this trunk retail anywhere from $1200-$5000 at the local antique imports dealer and I have never seen one this size. Antique Indian(?) Silver(?) Spice Perfume Vinaigrette
Antique Indian( Silver( Spice Perfume Vinaigrette Search We are quite mystified by this piece. Any information is appreciated. This is a two compartment vinaigrette bottle or spice holder. One end has a screw cap and inside that side is what appears to be an old sponge. The other side is a hinge cap and is holding a dark brown fragrant substance. I don't know what the spice is. The octagonal shaped"bottle" is hand engraved as is the caps of both ends. Although I can find not maker's marks or hallmarking I do believe that this is made of silver. Light wear. c1890. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Any help with this is welcomed. Dimensions: 5 inches(long) 1 inch(diameter)

Antique Native American Indian Beadwork Bag or Beaded Purse
I cannot tell you a who lot about this peice. Other than it has been in our family for 4 generations. It has a condition issues as you can see in the photos. Family lore has it that this was traded to my great grandmother by someone in the neighboring reservation to her farm for some supplies to stave off their winter food shortage. It needs to find a good home.

Here is a nice antique Victorian Native American Indian beaded and needlepoint pillow pincushion. This one measures about 6" square and 2.5" high. This has wool stitched design on the front with beaded edge and fringe as can be seen in the photos. Good condition overall. There a couple of stains on the back. There are also a couple of spots where the stitching is damaged. But not bad. This is a nice old piece, fresh from a local estate and it is now selling to you with NO RESERVE!

Antique Child's Beaded Native American Indian Moccasins NR!!
Here is a nice old pair of Native American Indian child's beaded moccasins. These have a floral design done with blue and white beads as can be seen in the photos. The one is missing the cord to tie it. These have been worn and do show signs of wear. There are some loose and or missing beads. Please see all the photos for a better idea of condition. These are marked with a ink stamp on the inside that has the number 8 with the word famous above it. The rest of the information is worn off. These each measure about 6.5" long. This is a nice old pair of moccasins. Fresh from a local estate and they are now selling to you with NO RESERVE!
