This is an antique Horse Weather Vane. The horse is made of steel and has a lot of surface rust from being outside for a few years. The horse attaches to an arrow that is made out of some kind of metal alloy. It was once mounted on a N-S-E-W attachment and used as a weather vane. It could be remounted and used again. Or it would look great mounted on a wall or on top of a mailbox in some rural setting. The arrow measures 23” long and the horse measures 11” long nose to tail end by 7” high. You are bidding on a TOTALLY AUTHENTIC AMERICANA FOLK ART antique Horse Weather Vane. That is made out of some kind of metal alloy and mounted on an iron arrow and once used as a weather vane. IT LOOKS GREAT mounted on a wall. The piece has wonderful, artistic lines- it's 28" long from the tip of the arrow to the end; the height is 12" from the tip of the horse's ears to the bottom of the arrow; and the horse itself is 13" long, but would be 2" or so longer if his front leg were still attached to the metal mounting. The appears to be some of carousel or circus horse, as there is a sculpted band around its middle. THE ARROW HAS AMAZING PATINA, and both it and the horse are obviously very old and weathered. Finely Crafted Antique Russian 900 Silver Toothpick Holder Quiver & Arrow Design
Found in my area this 900 marked Russian piece is a what I believe a fancy toothpick holder. The Russian mark is 84 an X and a woman in profile turned to the right. But I can not get a photo. The mark is on the swing handle. I forgot to add that the toothpick holder appears to be gilded. Russian marks on Google indicate that the piece was made in Moscow circa 1899-1908 This little piece is exquisitely crafted with three quivers and arrows surrounded by Roses. The piece sits on three ball feet and is 2 4/16" tall. 1 4/8" in diameter. With the handle up it measures 3 3/4" The amber glass insert is not original to the piece. But it serves the purpose. A sweet piece to add to a collection.

This listing is for an authentic vintage antique collector's sample of barbed wire fencing. This wire features two different patented barbs on the same sample. These are known as"Combination Barbs" The center barb features a John Stubbe patent. Dated October 23, 1883. The two outside barbs feature a Hiram B. Scutt patent dated, June 18, 1879. This wire is called"Stubbe's Small Notched Corner Metal Plate, and Scutt's Metal Arrow Plate Combination Barbs by collectors. ref. Hagemeier 39-F) This wire features two twisted together line wires. Barbs are made from sheet metal plates. The Stubbe Plates are notched diagonally at each corner, and each pair of points bent towards each other. Line wires are placed between these corner openings. Plates are smooth on both sides. These plates served as a barbing plate, and as ... morea signal or warning plate, to make the wire fence more visible. The Stubbe Plates measures 1" x 1-1/8" as installed. The Scutt patents use an arrowhead shaped piece of sheet metal. There are three barbs, well spaced, and cut is well centered. There is some bending of points, but no broken or missing points. Wire is in good used condition. Antique Pig Weathervane Lightning Rod Arrow Primitive Folk Art W/ Bullet Holes
This auction is for a old Pig Weathervane/Lightning Rod Directional Arrow that came from a Missouri estate. It measures 21 5/8" x 5 3/8" The metal pig which I think is zinc measures 9" x 5" The arrow is cast iron and is straight. The back part of the arrow that the pig stands on is designed with twisted metal. It appears that a piece that originally went to one of the back legs is broken. I have a close up of it in the pictures. As you can see this little piggy was used for target practice and has several bullet holes in his body. The legs. Ears, nose, and tail are intact and the pig is secure on the arrow. It is weathered from lots of years on the barn and the cast iron arrow has some rust. Here’s a glass arrow stopper I’ve had sitting around. I’ve just found out it belongs to a John Frederic’s 1935“Golden Arrow” perfume bottle. The stopper part that goes into the bottle is ½” or 13mm wide. The overall length is 2 5/16ths or 66mm. The glass is an NOS Kretzer glass that was very difficult to obtain. This is the only modification to this arrow. Also included is the original Kretzer brass ferrule the arrow was mounted on, this also is in great untouched condition, screws work as they should. Antique Sterling Silver Olive Spoon This fabulous early olive spoon has a wonderful star pierced bowl that is ornately decorated with a raised swirl decoration and has what appears to be a gold wash. The handle is a very well done barley twist pattern and is topped by a arrow head end for the relly stubborn olives that won't stay on the bowl of the spoon. It is marked at the base of the handle 925/1000 sterling. there is no makers mark but obviously a very nice piece. 11.9 grams 0.42 Oz. It measures about 8" in overall length. I get to the post office once a week on Saturdays. I will ship the first Saturday after payment is received. Shipping in the lower US is $6.00 and it includes insurance& delivery confirmation. 2 beautiful antique. Matching, hand painted porcelain jars or tea caddies. Marked. Made in France Hand Painted in red script, but worn. Also marked with the 2 crossed arrows or feathers or wheat stalks. There are a number of porcelain makers that use those marks in several countries. There are at least 3 different companies in France that use them as well. The mention of the country of origin in backstamps indicates that these pieces were made after 1891. Dimensions: 4" tall to the rim. 5" long, 2" wide. The opening ins 1.75" diameter. Condition: Excellent. No chips or cracks or hairlines. There is notable image loss where the lid sits that is visible when the lid is removed. I think this is expected with this type of piece. The underside is pretty dirty. This is also pretty normal for unglazed porcelain.

This is an antique ribbon watch fob on its original ribbon. the ribbon measures 1/2" wide and 9 1/2" not including the dog clip and arrow head or heavy"T" bar. The arrow head is about 1 3/4" long by 1" wide. I was told that the arrowhead point is authentic. And probably from North or sourh Carolina. The piece is evidently a hand made one of a kind watch fob with no markings on it as to gold content so it may be gold filled. It is only marked"W E H" on the dog clip. it shows little or no wear and is a very unique and nice fob, probably one of the best and most unusual I have seen. shipping is fixed at $5.25 within the U.S. thanks again.
