ANTIQUE PERFUME SPRAY BOTTLE YELLOW ORANGE WITH BLACK DESIGN
This is an interesting perfume spray yellow to orange in colour and makes a good display. I have never used it as the bulb is perished but I believe these can be replaced however this is in its original state. It measures 3 inches to the top of the glass and 4.75 to the end of the brass where the bulb starts. The glass is in good condition with what feels like a hand painted pattern in black with white dots.It is a lovely tactile piece to hold. The base diameter is just under 2 inches. Antique MULTI LOBED PORCELAIN Perfume Bottle Atomizer VICTORIAN FLORAL DESIGN
Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is gorgeous multi-lobed perfume bottle and atomizer. This is a very delicate bottle& atomizer. The horn where the bulb attaches has been re-soldered on. It is all original but has had that one repair. You probably never would have known if not told. But it helps me make a point that when removing these old tops ~ always hold only the main body of the atomizer when you twist. Not the part where the bulb comes out and not the little sprayer nose as these are easy to snap off. This was a"fixer-upper" that turned out really beautiful. I've done my best to shine up the metal and remove some of the corrosion. I know you"purists" are rolling your eyes- LOL! Don't worry. There is still enough there to keep the character of the ... morebottle. My feeling is that I do the bottle more justice to bring it closer to what it used to be ~ and most people who collect want them looking their best. I know you all have gotten"that" bottle before, the one with dirt so thick you can feel the grit and bottles filled with thick, gooey, stale perfume. If it is within my power you will never get a bottle like that from me! If you're looking for a show piece this is where I want you to come and browse. You will always find a variety of makers and styles. The burgundy bulb on this is new but completely removable if you want to change it out. There are no chips or cracks to the bottle. I do note a 3-4 pin-prick sized areas where a bubble has popped and a couple teeny carbon spots. It was only as I was photographing this bottle that I noticed each lobe has a different floral painting on it. I also think the white lobes used to have a fine gold design that has worn away with time. Just under the collar are gold painted flowers over a dark green background. VINTAGE TEAL BLUE PANELED OR RIB DESIGN HAND PAINTED ENAMEL PERFUME BOTTLE
Listing this really pretty possibly antique or vintage teal blue hand painted enamel perfume bottle. This bottle has what I might call a paneled or rib design around the bottle. This design kind of gives it an optica effect on the inside. There are white enamel painted flowers with gold stems and leaves going all around it. On the top. I am not sure what type of metal it is but it could be pewter or silver. Please use your judgment and expertise on this. There is a clear glass or plastic stopper in this perfume bottle and I do not believe it goes with it. On the stopper and inside the lip of the metal part, there is some type of sticky substance that is holding this stopper inside the bottle. When you put it in the bottle, it does form a pretty tight fit. This bottle measures 4 1/4" tall and is approximately 9 1/2" around. There ... moreare no markings on this bottle so I do not know the age or glass type it is. Even with this stopper, it would make a striking appearance on your dresser, in your bathroom, etc. You could take the stopper out and put a few little silk flowers in it. It is a very nice color of blue. I do not see any chips or cracks anywhere, but there it looks like there are a couple of bubbles in the glass. The painted flowers/stems still look pretty good but a few of the stems& leaves(gold part) has rubbed off. The bottle could be a little dirty inside but I did not clean it out. I thought I would leave this to the buyer only because I am afraid of damaging it or taking off the painted parts. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you for your interest.
