Antique Glass Three Ringed Decanter - Ring Neck Back Bar Bottle 12" Tall
Antique ring neck decanter is in great condition. No chips, cracks or breaks and stands approx 12" tall x 4 1/2" wide. Inside could use a little rinsing and the bottom has typical scuff wear. Nice old bottle. I was contacted by a very helpful EBay who identified this decanter as what is commonly referred to as a"Back Bar" bottle. They typically were made of thicker glass. Had very thick, strong, lips, known as a"bar lip. Both thicker glass and a bar lip aided in them not breaking easily, from the amount of use many of them were subjected to. It was also be pointed out that the stopper is not original as it doesn't go all the way down and is slightly raised at the top of the neck. We appreciate hearing from such helpful EBayers! Stunning antique vintage French wine demijohn carboy. In rare amber colour, from French area Alsace, late or ealier 18th century. The bottle is hand blown and has an impressive crude cut-off neck. Its shape is quite amazing and exquisite. Like a very big onion that would have been a bit crushed! Also it is not quite symetrical, see pictures, and has lots of original blown bubbles which gives it great personality. One would place sugared water and meat in the bottom of the globe and the flies would enter. But be confused by the construction of the piece, and unable to find their way out- the only thing about this piece is that the bottom isnt open, Im not sure why. Perhaps this was meant to be a decorative piece or simply was never finished. The piece is made of clear glass with an iridescent finish, what people might term as Carnival glass. It is definitely antique glass as it fluoresces under a black(ultraviolet) ... morelight. The glass is old and has a lot of tiny specks of foreign matter in it. Ive photographed the piece with back lighting and flash lighting, so the iridescence is more pronounced than under normal viewing conditions. The piece sits of three rounded feet and there is a center piece that protrudes up into the interior of the bottle. It has a stopper and is made of pressed glass in a hobnail finish. It measures 6 3/4 in height to the top of the stopper and has a diameter of 4 3/8 at its widest. It weighs very close to 1 lb. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear. Antique "Jacob Natter Atlantic City New Jersey" glass bottles - Set of Four (4)
Set of Four(4) Circa 1890's mold-blown aquamarine glass bottles with"Jacob Natter- Atlantic City New Jersey" written on the side(see photo) These bottles pre-date screw-on caps; the stoppers are long gone. Their condition is pretty good for being underground for almost 120 years. There are no cracks at all in any of the bottles. Just some staining, haze& scratches. The dimensions are about 7 inches high, by 2.5 inches in diameter and the glass is MUCH thicker than modern bottles(almost 1/4 inch) The photos were taken under natural sunlight with no digital photo trickery. No two bottles are the same. I've seen these bottles sell for upwards of $20 each. My price is less than half of that. I don't know the back-story of these bottles and/or company. STODDARD ALL-SEEING EYE FLASK GIV-43 Featured for auction is a McKearin GIV-43 All-Seeing Eye flask attributed to the Stoddard New Hampshire glass house by Van Rensselaer. This pint shows amber to amber-olive depending upon the light. 3 vertical ribs with a pontil base. Plain lip. One side has a six-pointed star(Star of David) with the intials A D below. The other side has a six-pointed star with bent arm on star and the initials below GRJA. Presumabley for Grand Royal Jerusalem Arch. No cracks. Two teeny rough places on lip which appear to me to be bubble pops in the glass. However, it is difficult to tell. Some wear on the most prominent points from rubbing over the years. Slight bits of residue inside which I have not attempted to remove. Some straw marks in the glass and a large bubble area. I see no damage. Priority mail for 3 lb.

On the front one label is half-gone that read"Antique" below that one on the larger portion of the body is a much larger label that reads"Vieille Fine Champagne de T. Hine& Co. Cognac" It measures approx. 7.5" tall and 6" wide and has no chips cracks or repairs. Also, the bottom is imprinted"Modele Depose" The larger label does have some damage to the edges, but considering its age is not too bad in my opinion. I spent some time trying to get some history and quickly became overwhelmed. This is a fine quality spirit that has a large and long history. Unusual Early 1900's Metal Overlay Bottle With Closing Top
The bottle is clear glass. I could find no makers names or marks on this. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. This is a grey metal and I'm not sure what is is. Stunning Antique Hand Blown Green Bottle. I am not a bottle expert and I am not 100% positive of its original purpose but its colors and shape are unique and beautiful. I messaged a couple experts and they believe it to be late 1800's to early 1900's in age. It may be an old demijohn or Bonbonne or possibly a large inkwell? Measures: Aprox. 6" tall Base 6" diameter Neck is just under 2" tall& 1 3/4" OD Beautiful jade green tones lighter at the top and gradually gets darker towards the base. This Is A Lovely Purple Or Violet Colored Relish Bottle Circa 1900 Manganese. Which Was Added To Some Glass Before 1920, Turns Purple When Exposed To Sunlight Resulting In This Delightful Violet Color In This Old Bottle It Stands Approx. 6" Tall x 2 3/4" Wide It has 2 tiny rough spots on the outside of the bottle. There is not any other damage to the bottle that I can see- just some very light haze staining inside from being dug from an early 1900's era northern Minnesota trash pit. It is a molded bottle which has some pretty large air bubbles. The threads on the top of the bottle are unchipped. It is a nice purple decorative relish bottle. Cobalt Scent Bottle ca 1700's- 1800's Here's a beautiful victorian era scent bottle from around the 1700's or early 1800's. But from what I've gathered I'm thinking more like 1825 if made by a glass blower by the name Benjamin Haines who spent some time at the Boston& Sandwich glass company. It's in unbelieveable condition with all of it's rigaree. Cobalt blue, small spherical body, long neck with two bulges or collars. There's four lengths of rigaree running from the bottom to the top collar and pinched at each of the two collars for a total of eight tabs. Those are what's usually damaged. I've seen a clear bottle with clear rigaree but damaged, with two tabs broken off and a piece of rigaree missing. This bottle is referenced in McKearin/Wilson and is actually the one pictured on plate ... more102#2. It's 2 7/16" tall with no damage or repairs. There's some minor highpoint wear probably due to the bottle not standing too steadily. Formerly of the George McKearin collection. I've got about a dozen of these unique scents in different shapes, colors& sizes.
