Offered for auction is this Clyde Glass fire grenade or a dresser bottle made by the Clyde Glassworks. Clyde, NY. Approx. 1917-22. The bottle is a 3 part mold, hand blown, and in the very rare green glass. The rim looks to be chipped, but is only rough from the actual firing and maybe a tiny chip on the inside of the rim. Has flourishes and lions' heads. If you can find a glass stopper that is green, then you will have a wonderful piece you can use even for wine at the table. 6 1/2" t x 5 1/2" w.

Be sure to add Villagewares to your Favorites! This Late 1800's Hand-Painted Milk Glass Dresser Bottle has a classic. Ornate Victorian shape both in the bottle itself and in the stopper. The piece is 6 inches in diameter and stands 10 inches tall including the stopper. The glass is translucent thin near the top and in the stopper, and the feet are quite thick. The handpainting shows some wear from years of use, and there are rough edges on both the bottle top and base of the stopper. There are also rough spots on the molded feet of the bottle. Antique Bohemian Dark Amber Cut-To-Clear Barber Dresser Bottle Porcelain Stopper
For your consideration in this auction is a Vintage or Antique Barber Bottle. It is a"Bohemian" dark Amber Cut-To-Clear bottle with four different scenes. There is a deer in a forest and on the opposite side a castle. Between them is an elaborate cutting basically the same on each side. The pontil scar on the concave base is smooth ground and polished. The bottle has its original porcelain stopper with cork. With stopper the bottle is 9 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches in diameter at the widest part. The bottle is in excellent condition with no chips.
