Blown early open pontiled decanter with applied rings Sharp pontil Flint bottle
Nice early blown open pontiled decanter with applied rings. The glass is very clear with only a couple small superficial scratches. Very light and not long. The rings on the neck are typical for applied glass. Have lines, but are not cracked. No chips, cracks, or repairs that I can see. I do not see a water line or residue. The decanter has a rough pontil scar in the center of the base. Two strips or rings of glass were added to the neck and carefully tooled and attached and there is a broad. Well rounded rim, it is ground on the inner neck, with the stopper fitted. Nice early decanter that I am told is attributed to Boston and Sandwich Glass. Circa 1820s-40s. Condition; very good except for one open air bubble on top rim. SIZE: decanter alone stands 9-3/4 inches tall with the stopper in place. Blown Flint Glass 3 Ring Pint Decanter Bottle Thomas Cains Boston Sandwich NEGC
This listing is for a rare antique footed pint decanter with its original ground-in waffle sunburst pattern pressed glass stopper. It has a ground and polished pontil. And good base wear. The stopper has a very nice clean snap-off at the bottom, and the"grated" or"waffle" center pattern has horizontal lines on one side, and vertical lines on the other. It is relatively crudely pressed, and what looks like an inch of loss to the one edge is actually due to an incompletely filled mold- it does have a small chip on this rough edge, and a tiny nick a bit lower(both probably original, due to the rough mold seam) The bottle itself is amazing, and has only a few light surface scratches. The glass is incredibly clear, and is nearly free of bubbles or inclusions. It measures 9.1" to the top of the stopper, and 7.2" to ... morethe top of the rim. Most people will not notice. In fact I am sure that thye will not even know about it. But some people are fanatics. There is also some discoloration on the inside of the glass because this is old. That discoloration will never clean out. Overall if you look you will find some things that will make this not perfect. But I think it is beautiful and wonderful. Antique Stiegel Type 3-sided Glass Perfume Decanter Bottle Hand Painted Enamel
Up for auction is an unusual antique Stiegel type three sided perfume bottle or decanter with hand applied enamel scenes reminiscent of Pennsylvania Dutch farm life. This bottle has never been used. And has been stored in a cabinet at my family's Maryland farmhouse for generations. It cleaned up beautifully; the thick layer of dust must have kept the colors from fading. This old piece is very heavy, and makes a lovely noise like fine crystal when tapped. The stopper is very unique, with a large, controlled release bubble at its core. There is a gold"8" on the base. The glass bottle is in fantastic shape, with no chips or cracks noted. The stopper has a few chips& fleabites, but is still lovely. Antique Mercury Glass Bottle Silvered Glass Liquor Decanter Vase Suncatcher Antique Victorian era Mercury silvered glass Decanter Liquer Bottle or Vase. I am pretty sure this bottle is double walled. Handpainted white enamel flowers. Old heavy blue luminous glass with enamel work and gilt. I am not sure if this is a decanter.Wine liquor bottle or vase decor piece. It could have had a cork or glass stopper. The bottle opening seems small for a vase and large for a candle so perhaps it was a decanter? It is an interesting old piece with that lovely mercury silvering glazed effect. I decided it might be part of a decanter set. Perhaps it had matching wine glasses at one time? I have never seen anything like it. Based on research I would put it in the Victorian era. Please confirm my description this is not my area of expertise. Condition: Some ... moregilt.Silver glaze and enamel wear. The silvering glaze has Round spots drip marks where silver glazing is missing mainly one area. Silvering has sort of rippling effect. Antique Glass Three Ringed Decanter - Ring Neck Back Bar Bottle 12" Tall
Antique ring neck decanter is in great condition. No chips, cracks or breaks and stands approx 12" tall x 4 1/2" wide. Inside could use a little rinsing and the bottom has typical scuff wear. Nice old bottle. I was contacted by a very helpful EBay who identified this decanter as what is commonly referred to as a"Back Bar" bottle. They typically were made of thicker glass. Had very thick, strong, lips, known as a"bar lip. Both thicker glass and a bar lip aided in them not breaking easily, from the amount of use many of them were subjected to. Vintage green IRRIDESCENT VASELINE GLASS decanter. Unknown maker. My guess circa 1910. The pewter spigot turns, and stops air. Not tested with liquid but we can feel how its firmly attached, properly aligned. No chips, No cracks to mention. However there is some wear to the decorative green applied beads. See last two pictures for wear to beads. Missing are two rings. Dimensions of the barrel body is 6x4" The applied beads are meant to depict the earth and trees. The color is very organic, looks like real moss.

The bottle stands approximately 10" and width is 4.5" wide and 3" deep. I have never seen another one in 40 years of buying and selling antiques. The cork looks to be original. Antique, Victorian Enamel Barber Bottle, Decanter Opaque Green 9" Bristol Glass
This listing is for an Antique. Victorian Enameled Perfume or Barber Bottle, commonly referred to as a Bristol Glass Bottle or Decanter, in Opaque Green. The color is commonly called Opaque Green and is nearly cream with a hint of sage green. The vase features hand-painted white rose floral with beautiful pink flowers and green leaves and trimmed in black. The piece is sometimes referred to as a Dresser Bottle. The piece is hand-blown with a pedestal shaped foot and glass stopper. The glass is opaque and very light weight. The pontil scar is a creamy green matching the color of the vase. The stopper is also hand-blown with a ground. Unpolished pontil. There are no maker or decorator marks. The glass, style and design are all indicative of the Victorian Era and likely dates to the 1800's. The piece measures 9" high with the stopper ... morein place. 7" without the stopper, 2 1/2" in diameter at the center, 2 7/8" in diameter at the base and weighs 8.1 oz. The bottle and stopper are chip. Crack and fleabite free. The artwork is in excellent condition with no marks on the design and beautiful artistry. The black trim is pristine on the bottle, but weak on the top of the stopper, likely from use. There is some light etching on the stopper and inside the neck where the stopper makes contact as would be expected. The foot has some wear from over a century of display. There is some build up of dust and dirt, which could be cleaned out if one desired.
