Aqua-Tinted Glass Prescription Medicine Bottle from late 1880s Dean. Foster& Co. based in Boston and Chicago This bottle was buried near our home in the older section of St. Paul. D.F. Co. is part of the mold of this bottle. And is on the bottom(see photograph) Dean, Foster& Co. was based in Boston from the 1870s through 1900, and also in Chicago from 1883 through 1893. The company made prescription/druggist ware. The glass is clear. But aqua-tinted. No chips or cracks. Light scratches on the neck. The neck is charmingly crooked. The top inch or so of the neck. While still of clear class, is translucent rather than transparent. I wonder if a cork had anything to do with this, or if it will clean up? Swirls and tiny bubbles within the glass. The exterior of the glass shows swirls. If held up to the light. I have not attempted to clean ... morethe glass. Beyond washing it with liquid dish soap and water. Our home is smoke-free. Antique Aqua Green GLASS KEROSENE BOTTLE CAN DISPENSER Rare Find!
Offered for auction is this rare Glass Kerosene Bottle in good overall condition. The metal parts are rusted as the pictures show. But the glass is in good condition with no cracks or serious chips, just a few flea bites as to be expected and bubbles! The color somewhere in between Aqua and Green! The patter on this glass is rather unusual and one that I have never seen. I don't know if this was used to dispense kerosene for a stove or for filling oil lamps as I do not see any makers marks. It measures abu out 12" to the top of the spout, 9 1/2" to the top of the glass and has a 6 1/2" diameter base. ANTIQUE VINTAGE HAND BLOWN AQUA BOTTLE w/ pontil mark
This auction is for a beautiful aqua blue hand blown glass bottle. The bottom of the bottle has a very rough pontil scar. The neck of the bottle is wrapped with a thin line of glass that was applied while still hot. I don't much about the details of this bottle. As I found it in an old house I am cleaning. The bottle weighs 4 lbs 3 oz. It stands almost 12 inches tall. At the widest point it is 9 inches wide. The bottom is roughly 6 1/2 inches wide. The bottom is made uneven and the bottle rocks. There are two small dings in the glass as shown in the pictures. Otherwise, there are no un-natural defects. There are areas where the hand blown process has left"beauty marks" on the bottle. Here for your consideration we have a group of four(4) antique bottle stoppers from the late 1800s. They are an assortment of colors including teal. Amber, aqua and clear. These were hand dug and are in good to very good condition. They will be perfect for decorative purposes in your bottle collection. The teal stopper came from a PRESTON'S bottle, teal. It measures 3/4 at the small end of the taper and increases to approx. 13/16 at the widest part of the taper. The amber and clear stoppers would work in a 1/2" wide mouth. The aqua is for a 5/8" mouth. They all have some scratching and a couple have chipping that would be hidden in the neck of your bottle. The tops are in EXCELLENT condition on all four. Tall Antique Beautiful Aqua Blue Glass Genie Bottle w/ Stopper Vintage Art Decor
Standing very tall at 24 3/4 inches this bottle can be cleaned up very nicely. I know it has the big chip out of it. And a piece was glued back in. See photos. It shows where it was glued, but through the years I have always positioned it with cracked side away from view and it is not noticeable. I'm not sure how old this is. It was in my parents house for as long as I can remember. I wish that I had taken the opportunity to ask them about it while they were still here. There are no seams. And looking at the stopper, how it was made, it appears to be quite old. I love all of the trapped bubbles throughout. I did not try to dust or clean off at all. Beautiful antique barber bottle. Lots of trapped air bubbles in the glass and thickness variation. This piece is very old. I would assume mid 1800's. No chips or nicks. Looks very well cared for. Measures9.75"tall with the stopper 3" wide. The bottom has a slight rounding.

A beautiful antique bottle with cork from local estate. It's a Strega liquor bottle. With an embossed sunburst on the front, and on the back, an embossed image of a woman(looks like she is wearing long underwear with stars on it) She looks like she has Victorian boots on, and is holding a burning torch. Beneath the image is embossed"Strega Mfg Co. 568 E. 135th St, New York" The bottle has an old, faded paper label still attached(no visible writing on it) I do not know if it is original. I can see seams on the body of the bottle, they seem to fade out on the neck, and I do not see them on the rim. The cork is stuck, I have not tried to remove it. Bottle is about 11" tall. Antique Blob Top Beer Lager Glass Bottle Aqua w/ Porcelain Stopper Embossed
This is a really nice old beer bottle made in Brooklyn NY between 1895-1905. Its in great shape and has some great small bubbles in the glass. There absolutely no chips out of the glass with the exception of the top which is fairly common. This is made with the 3 piece mold with the blob type top. The base has a great uneven surface. the metal bail that locks the stopper in place works correctly and has VERY minimal to no rust at all. The porcelain stopper is in amazing shape with the original rubber seal and no defects other than some cracking in the rubber gasket. The black labeling is clearly intact and on the underside it is labeled K. Hutter Patented 1893. This is the gentleman that patented this type of stopper in 1893. Antique Blue/Aqua Mold Blown Globular Bottle~Swirl to Right~ Original Stopper
I bought this old decanter at an estate sale I attended over the weekend. Can't tell you the maker or the age. But I can tell you it's old-my guess is mid-19th century. Globular in shape, it's got a swirl that twists upwards to the right-the pattern gets sharper as it climbs to the top. There are two pinches in the neck. There are no chips, cracks or apologies but for flaws that are typical to antique glass-large, small and elongated bubbles, bumps, wear to the bottom, a slightly smoothed pontil and visible kickup. I couldn't find any mold lines. The lip at top is off-round.a little thicker at one side, and a little squarish at the other. It measures just over 9" high. It came with a hollow stopper that looks(to me) to be original.it's a perfect match to the blue of the bottle and was also hand-blown. The top of the ... morestopper has a tiny flat pontil mark and the bottom shows a sloppy break from the glass blower's pipe, where you can also see the open hole where its hollow shape was formed. Rare and beautiful Demijohn bought at an estate sale in Vermont. Glass is mouth blown and is aqua marine. The color sets the time period to New England ca.1815- 1855. Based on research done on internet and Bottles Historical Society) Ovoid shape with cork. Weighs apprx. 24lbs. 26"inches TALL. NECK- 8.5"inches around. Widest part of bottle 57"inches. Basket is woven wicker with wood bottom(inside original wildflower and grass? Basket top is 19"inches diameter bottom and 3.25"diameter inches top opening. Bottom is 21.5" diameter opening with a 17.25 bottom diameter. There are stretch marks and bubles in the glass. NO CHIPS or CRACKS. RARE. EXCELLENT CONDITION!
