I am not sure if this old bottle was a medi cine bottle or some kind of vanity bottle that held hair tonic or eau de toilet water. Its too big for perfume I think. If you know please let me know. Here for your consideration we have a group of four(4) antique bottle stoppers from the late 1800s. They are an assortment of colors including teal. Amber, aqua and clear. These were hand dug and are in good to very good condition. They will be perfect for decorative purposes in your bottle collection. The teal stopper came from a PRESTON'S bottle, teal. It measures 3/4 at the small end of the taper and increases to approx. 13/16 at the widest part of the taper. The amber and clear stoppers would work in a 1/2" wide mouth. The aqua is for a 5/8" mouth. They all have some scratching and a couple have chipping that would be hidden in the neck of your bottle. The tops are in EXCELLENT condition on all four. Tall Antique Beautiful Aqua Blue Glass Genie Bottle w/ Stopper Vintage Art Decor
Standing very tall at 24 3/4 inches this bottle can be cleaned up very nicely. I know it has the big chip out of it. And a piece was glued back in. See photos. It shows where it was glued, but through the years I have always positioned it with cracked side away from view and it is not noticeable. I'm not sure how old this is. It was in my parents house for as long as I can remember. I wish that I had taken the opportunity to ask them about it while they were still here. There are no seams. And looking at the stopper, how it was made, it appears to be quite old. I love all of the trapped bubbles throughout. I did not try to dust or clean off at all. This is a listing for a Chinese reverse painted snuff bottle featuring a bird motif. Its stopper is red plastic and rubber. This is not an antique piece. Just very attractive. The bottle itself is in mint condition with no chips, cracks or other undesirable characteristics. The plastic stopper has a scratch and some minor scuffing. The bottle stands just over 3" high and about 1 3/4" wide. These bottles are painted from the inside using fine brushes. They are sold often as souvenirs in China. Here's a beautiful deep amethyst or purple hand blown dresser bottle from the Victorian Era of the 1890s or early 1900s with hand painted enamel flowers! Hand blown in a 3 part mold with original hollow blown stopper. 1932 Dark Aqua Blue Mary Madonna Bottle with Stopper. In great condition. 14" tall with stopper. Handle in great shape. The words on the lower part of the bottle say: Pier 62.51" and"Gaudjal Mex" and"Marzod 1932" I don't know much about these bottles. But I do know that my great aunt traveled the world and was a collector of religious artifacts. Up for auction is a vintage green glass bottle with a honeybee stopper. I am not sure what kind of bottle this is. But there is a opening in the bottom. I have never seen one like this. The bottle itself measures approx. 8" tall with the stopper approx. 10" There are 3 glass feet on the bottom molded into the glass. There are two seams down each side. There are bubbles and imperfections in the glass. There are no chips or cracks. The opening in the top is 1 1/4" The opening in the bottom goes up inside the bottle approx. 2" It weights 3 lbs. This is a unique piece. It is made from what I think to be Milkglass. The style of this bottle is known as a Barber bottle. It is hand-painted with beautiful flowers as well as gold trim around the rim and the base as well a on the bottle stopper. This piece is in very good condition with only one flaw at the rim of the bottle lip where it is painted gold. The chip does not distract from the overall look of the bottle. Nor does it effect the use of the bottle. The bottle measures 3 1/2" in diameter at the base and 1 1/2" at the top lip of the bottle. It stands at 8" tall and the stopper measures at 2 3/4" long. The topper fits nicely into the top of the bottle and I do believe that it is original to the piece because of the way it is painted to match and because it fits so well. Only the stopper is marked Hawkes but I do believe this is Hawkes. This dressing bottle measures 8" tall x 3 1/8 diameter. There are not any chips. Cracks or repairs. I do not see that this bottle is marked. The stopper is cut or engraved and also marked Hawkes with the Trefoil. The stopper isn't original but it does fit rather well and looks great with it. The pontel at the bottom of the bottle indicates that it was hand blown. The hand painted decor is of flowers and having raised enamel accents on glass. A rather attractive decoration with vibrant colors. The bottle is 11 1/2" tall and has a 3 3/8" in diameter at the base. It is 4" in diameter at the widest part. This piece was probably blown in Bristol. England area. The condition is good- no chips, cracks or damage.
