All original, the patina on the wood is beautiful, the box is solid with original single lid hinge and back lid nailed hinges. The lid closes tight and true. The outer label has faded with time. Just as you would expect as it sat on a store counter exposed to the light, but remains legible. The interior label is beautifully preserved, orange with gold metallic company lettering, with illustrated instructions for display and a Patent date of 1906. Three Antique Sterling Silver Wine Labels - Two English and One Poss. Portuguese
Three Antique Sterling Silver Wine Labels. They include a Port Label made in London and about 1 1/8" in length and 7/8" high and stamped IR. Right Facing Duty Mark, Lion Passant, and Leopard Head. There is also a Date Mark present but it is cut off by the opening which made the Port Label. The Second is from Birmingham and is about 2 1/8" in length and 1 1/4" high and stamped B.G. with an Anchor, Lion Passant and T. This I believe dates to 1968/69. The Third is labeled Jerez and is about 1 11/16" in length and about 1 1/8" high. This is stamped on its front with a five pointed star and a B above which there is additional design. I believe this might be Portuguese but am uncertain of this. Three Very Attractive Wine Labels.

3 Original Antique Fabric/Textile Fancy Victorian Labels-Royal Blue and Gold These are 3 fancy Victorian fabric/textile labels. Fabric came in yards with lovely labels attached showing how much fabric was there. The first label measures 4 by 5 inches. It is royal blue. White, and gold with an ornate embossed border framing a picture of a young girl with a man with a basket of bunnies. At the bottom of the label is printed No. and 4 is written in. On the other corner is written 16 and printed Yds. The label has some corner folds and was originally glued to the fabric. It is in very good condition and amazing to have survived. The 2 nd label measures 3 ¾ by 4 5/8 inches. It also is royal blue. Gold, and white. There are embossed palm trees, a man with a barrel, and tiger peaking out in gold. The center has a color picture of a tiger on ... morea barrel with two men enticing it with a ham and other food. Again this label has the No on the left and Yds on the right with a place for the amount of fabric to be written. This label is colorful and in good condition. There are 2 folds on the lower right corner. It also was glued to fabric-authenticating it as a label. The 3 rd label is embossed blue. White, and gold framing a young boy and girl in Victorian dress at a fountain. There are gold medallions to write the No. and Yds. at the bottom and 20 yards is written in. This label is in rough condition with 2 corners off, an edge cut, and is cut at the frame edge. It measures 3 ½ by 5 inches and matches the other labels. They measures 15 3/4" tall to the top of the stoppers and are 5 1/2" in diameter across the base. Each bottle weighs a little over 3 1/2 pounds! This is an amazing and super rare find! There are 172 paper labels in this box. Each label is unused. Un-gummed, hand stenciled in gold, black and red and close to 100 years old! Some of them had never even been touched before I took them out of the box! They were still alphabetically organized. I can find nothing on line about how many make a"complete set" of labels, but I can scarcely imagine another label fitting in this box. They all have a slight curve upward, but there are no bends, tears, folds or stains on them. The largest labels measure 4.25" wide and 2" tall. The smallest of them measure 2.25" X 1.25" Please have a good look at all of the pictures. There are too many names to list here but there are tinctures. ANTIQUE BOHEMIAN(CZECH) EGERMANN KHI BUDVASE. RUBY CUT TO CLEAR, WITH LABELS 6.25" TALL BEAUTIFUL CONDITION! BUY A PIECE OF EUROPEAN HISTORY! Intricately engraved Egermann designs are cut through a thin overlayer of ruby colored glass to reveal clear crystal below. A split-tailed swallow soars over a picket fence. Past a building and into trees. Ornate curlicues enhance the design. This vase typifies the mid-1800s work by premiere glass artist, Friedrich Egermann, in the region historically known as Bohemia, then Czechoslovakia, and now the Czech Republic. Egermann created the glass overlay, engraving and etching techniques that he applied to work that still bears his name. Wild animal and forest designs are characteristic of Egermann. This glass was all mouth-blown and hand-engraved. Truly extraordinary! The foot of the vase still has ... moretwo original foil and paper labels. One label says. Bohemia Crystal Made in Czechoslovakia" and the other says, Bohemia Glass KHI Made in Czechoslovakia. According to the regional history, Czechoslovakia declared itself independent in 1918, so that would be the earliest year this vase would have borne a label with that name on it. There was a period of Nazi occupation in WWII between 1938 and 1945 when Czechoslovakia did not exist politically, until re-establishment in 1945. So, the vase could also have been made after 1945. SIZE: 6 1/4" tall. History of the Republic"At the beginning of the 20th century Bohemia was a part of Austrian Empire. After World War I in 1918 Czechoslovakia declared its independence. The new republic had three parts: Bohemia. Moravia and Slovakia. The popular Tomas Garigue Masaryk became the first president. In October 1938 the Nazis occupied the Sudetenland, with the acquiescence of Britain and France, after the infamous Munich Agreement. In March 1939 Germany occupied Bohemia and Moravia. Up for bid is an Antique Album with 50 pages of Vintage Cigar Labels and Cigar Bands. There is are nice cigar band collage on the album cover. The pages are linen paper and very stable. Not fragile at all. There are 25 pages containing 39 different Labels. Many with matching bands. There are 25 pages with 375 different Bands. The items are attached with a small dab of paper glue, enough to secure items, but not so much that they could not be removed if so desired. Pages could be added if so desired. This is a Pair of Antique Cobalt Clock Oil Bottles with manufacturer labels circa 1800s. The bottles were used to store and sell Clock Oil made from the jaw bone of porpoise and black fish. In mid 1800s WF Nye established a company in Bedford Massachusetts. The bottles measure 3 inches high. The bottles are in excellent condition without cracks or chips with age appropriate patina.

They are original 1920's labels not reproductions. We found them in an old local seed merchant who would have used them to stick on seed packets that he filled with seed for customers. These labels would bring a splash of color to the vintage home. They could be framed for some interesting wall art or they could be used in card making or decoupage projects.
