Up for bid are 2 S mall, R ound“ Drip by Drop” Apothecary bottle s The tops are ground to fit like a glove. They have two grooves and a beak for dropping liquid. On the neck of bottle there are two grooves– one for liquid and one for air. When grooves on the stopper meet the grooves on the neck. Liquid can be dropped. IT WORKS AMAZINGLY WELL! If stopper is turned and grooves don't match protrudes bottle is closed(locked) and liquid can not be dropped. The shape and type would allow for a tiny drop to be poured out of the bottle without removing the cap. The clear bottle is 3 ½ inches tall. It is in very nice condition. Small collection of antique glass bottles. Cream bottle from Haleakala Dairy. Found on a ranch upcountry. It has the famous"Silversword Plant" that only grows in two places on earth. Other three bottles found while snorkeling next to Hookipa Beach in Paia. I think the bottles found under water had come from an old dumping ground in the cliff that the ocean was eroding away. Set of Four(4) Circa 1890's mold-blown aquamarine glass bottles with"Jacob Natter- Atlantic City New Jersey" written on the side(see photo) These bottles pre-date screw-on caps; the stoppers are long gone. Their condition is pretty good for being underground for almost 120 years. There are no cracks at all in any of the bottles. Just some staining, haze& scratches. The dimensions are about 7 inches high, by 2.5 inches in diameter and the glass is MUCH thicker than modern bottles(almost 1/4 inch) The photos were taken under natural sunlight with no digital photo trickery. 3 Miniature Antique Painted Glass Bottles Perfume Bottles? Cats Black Americana I have to tell you about the auction that I went to last week. It was in Geneva Illinois. In a sandstone building that was built before the Civil War. The sale was the final liquidation of an antique store(they‘d had one previous auction- so much stuff, they had to have two) that used to operate out of this location- but the building has been closed, as well as the business, for over 20 years following the passing of the previous owners. Now, we’re talking two stories, an attic and a basement PACKED with antiques- it’s hard to imagine, and all of it just sitting for two decades. These folks had amassed a huge antique collection- many many items dating back to the early 1800s and before. There’s some gorgeous pieces of primitive Americana that I found. I can’t ... moretell you how excited I am to be listing my treasures from the sale. I will be listing them for weeks to come. I also have the last of my farm auctions and South Dakota finds listed this week, so there’s something for everyone! I purchased this lot of three antique bottles at the auction just because they are so darn unusual and cute- I really don't know anything about them. They are very light and delicate glass- and all three have been hand painted. There's two blue painted cats. And then what looks to be an African American figure. They appear to be made from molded glass- I thing I see a mold line going up either side but stops before the neck, where I see no lines. One cat measures 2" tall, 3/4" widest and 7/8" deepest, the other measures 1 7/8" tall by the same width and depth, and the figural one is broken at the bottom, as you can see from my photos, and I do not have the bottom piece. It measures 2 1/8" tall as it is, 1" wide and 3/4" deepest. This fella has the only structural issue that I can find. On the others, I see no cracks, or chips. They have minor paint wear, but that is it. They are dirty, and could use a good cleaning

Two milk glass barber bottles- one has a stopper.both have a raised design and cold paint. They measure approximately 7 1/2" tall without the stopper and 9 1/2" tall top to bottom on the one with the stopper. The diameter at it's widest point is just under 6" Both bottles are in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is some paint and gilt loss. the stopper has a flaw in the glass and the neck of the bottle(without a stopper) has a flaw in the neck of the bottle- all common to bottles of this vintage and style.see the photo's. These are the originals and not copies. They were patented on Jan. 6. 1914. They were made in Germany from fired porcelain and hand painted. On the bottom is a stamp that says: Made in Germany. They were made by the Heuback Brothers for the Carter Ink Co. in 1914. They were featured for sale that year in the Saturday Evening Post. The bottle on the left is marked with LOTION and the bottle on the right ALUM. also called potassium alum. a crystalline solid used in medicine as an astringent and styptic and in dyeing and tanning) Both bottles have substantial weight and are decorated with a cobalt blue band. Not quite milky-white they have a hint of blue with whirly light marks reminiscent of slag glass. Which is a type of opaque, streaked, antique pressed glass that originated in England in the late 19th century. Group of 4 Antique Vintage Bottles Glass Apothecary Medicine Bottle w/ Stoppers Description: Group of 4 Antique Vintage Bottles Glass Apothecary Medicine Bottle w/ Stoppers ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Offered is a very nice group of antigue vintage glass Apothecary style Bottles with stoppers. Each is slightly different in size and age. 3 appear to be older and blown glass bottles and 1 is after 1900 because there are seam lines that run up through the neck of the bottle; the others do not. Purchased at an antique auction; all the bottles are in good to very good condition. The largest bottle is marked W. T. Co. and also has an E and U.S.A. on the bottom. It measures 9 7/8 inches high and 3 1/2 inches across the bottom. There are 2 chips on the lip of the bottle and some bubbles and defects in the glass. There is also residue from a label ... moreon the front. The next 2 bottles are similair in size and shape but also different. Both are blown glass with pontils on the bottom; one of the pontils and the bottom of the bottle is more indented. Both have stoppers but one is not the right size and sits slightly high in the neck of the bottle. The bottle with the indented bottom has a stopper which is stuck in the neck of the bottle; quite possibly this could be removed but I do not know the correct technique and will not attempt it. These bottles measure 7 3/4 inches and 7 1/2 inches tall without the stoppers; I did not include the stoppers in the measurement because of the 1 stopper not fitting properly. They are each about 2 3/4 inches across the bottom. The bottle with the stopper that does not fit properly has a small chip on the neck of the bottle. The last bottle which is also the shortest measures 8 1/2 inches high including the stopper; the stopper on this bottle has a round top. It is 3 1/8 inches wide across the bottom. This is the youngest bottle dtaed 1900 or after because of it having a seam line in the neck but it is still an antique vintage bottle. This bottle is marked with numbers on the bottom; a 69 and

ANTIQUE BROWN GLASS MILK BOTTLES. Here you will get SIX-1/2 Gal Bottles with some aged scuffs on the bottles. The bottles each weigh at about 2lbs each. With some lite clean up they will shine. and a wonderful antique metal rack to protect the bottles from getting broken. BOTTLES. 10" LONG. 5" WIDE No chips. The bottles have been in metal crate so there is some rust on the bottom of the bottles, as shown in pictures. METAL RACK. 15" long. 12" wide. The rack also shows some aged rust as shown in pictures.
