From a nice estate. I'm offering this antique 4-mold milk glass barber bottle or decanter with hand painted flowers and gold trim. The design includes raised crosshatch and scroll. Total height of the bottle is 8 3/4" including the stopper(5 3/4" without the stopper) it is 5" across the widest part of the bottle. The stopper is 3 7/8" long. Because this is cold painted on glass. There is some loss of the paint, and the gilt trim is missing in some places. Antique Collectable Barber's Bottle Milk Glass w/pressed Flowers
Must have been really pretty in its time. I have been told that this is a Barber's Bottle. But I could not find any other like it on eBay. If you know that it is not- PLEASE tell me so that I can advertise it correctly. I do not want to falsely represent it. You can see what it is from the photos. It has 3 seams up to the roll out neck and then that puffed out part must have been put on separately. Shades of blue. Green and gold left. bottom does not pontil mark but is not totally smooth either. Eight inches tall(No stopper) x 2 3/8" diameter bottom and 1 3/8" top opening.
