This Warner's Safe Kidney and Liver Cure bottle was produced sometime from 1860 to 1880. By blowing the glass into a two-part mold, when a lot of"snake oil" was being"manufactured" and sold to unsuspecting customers. The 9 1/2" bottle(3 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" deep) has a beautifully embossed front with the company name, the product name, the company location in Rochester, N.Y. and a safe, thus making a visual pun for the potential audience. Incredibly nice and rare glass gallon jug. Can't find much about it other than an estimate timetable of early 1900's. I dare you to find another for sale as nice as this one and this cheap. There is no chipping or cracking and just a few scratches that would be expected considering its age. The bottom of the bottle has the marks 1653 them below that S 3 then below that U G B and lines(or imperfections) not cracks as it might appear. In fact I scoured Ebay and other auction and craft sites and have not found one its equal. Only one has ever been listed on ebay and that was overseas in England I believe. It was also clear glass. This auction is for a lot of 40 total Vintage era and or older bottles. Various shades of green, brown clear and cobalt blue glass bottles containers ect. These all have been dug up un earthed and some are or have sediment in them not in perfect condition, have been cleaned up to the best of my capabilities, Wasn't sure how to get them completely free of debris in side but removed as much as possible as you will see in pictures. I am not sure of value of these bottles but surely there is a collector or two out there who will know right off the bat by looking at them. ANTIQUE PABST BLUE RIBBON TALL BROWN GLASS BEER BOTTLE
The bottle is probably close too 1 liter is size. It is amber in color, and has the pabst blue ribbon emblem embosed 4 times around the top part of the bottle. It says NOT TO BE REFILLED NO DEPOSIT*NO RETURN around the very bottom of the bottle.The markings on the bottom are 3 52 21 and the trade mark is what looks like two# threes circled the bottle has a seam on each side that runs the length of the bottle,and the glass has an abrasive texture type finish. Im not sure how old the bottle is but would be interested in knowing if anybody knows thank you. The bottle is in great shape no cracks or chips it could use a good cleaning on the inside excellent condition.

Vintage Amber Brown Hand Blown Vinol Medicine Tincture Bottle Chestnut Cold
Great condition. Measures approx 9" tall. Vinol Bottles are common in turn of the century dumps. The shape of the bottle is reminiscent of early chestnut bottles. The container was designed in 1898 by Edward Modes. The Chester Kent Company of Jersey City and also of New York City registered the name"Vinol" with the Patent Office as a protected trademark in 1897. It is likely that the company was actually located in Minnesota and had depots in the East. Vinol was still for sale as late as 1948. A turn of the century ad indicates it was a cod liver oil preparation for coughs and colds throat and lung troubles. Vinol was a tonic for the elderly and for children. Presumable based on the fact that it contained cod liver oil. However, it also, as indicated on the box and label contained 14 percent alcohol, which if taken in by children ... morewould not have been safe. The taste must have prevented wide-spread abuse. Last is the brown bottle. Looks like George Washington on the front with I believe a musical instrument on there. Stands 7 5/8" tall x 4 1/2" wide x 1 3/4" deep. Lot weighs 7 lbs. prior to packaging.
