With details of the ogees shown in the second and third photos I am willing to take these to my local UPS store. Where they can pack them with way sturdier cardboard than I can find. Boxing, which would include bubblewrap and peanuts, would be about $30. You would pay them directly. I would then take the box to FedEx, which is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper for shipping costs. I just sold some similar doors with glass, and have had numerous conversations with UPS and have double-checked with FedEx. Rounded ogee on the front(second photo) and a more squarish one on the back(third photo) They have been painted. As you can see, but I believe it is just one coat of paint. Since the rest of the kitchen was birch. I am assuming these cupboard doors are also birch. It's remotely possible that they are maple, though. Together. They measure 33.75 inches across. They butt together; there is no lip. They are 41.25 tall. And are 1 inch and a hair or two thick. AVAILABLE SEPARATELY FOR AN ADDITIONAL PRICE: I have one. Here is a beautiful solid brass door that I was told came out of a bank. The dimensions are approximately 62" tall by 30" wide. It is equipped with the original brass Yale lock. It also comes with the other half of the upper hinge that would attach to a wall or whatever you want for the door to mount and pivot on. The outside framing is all solid brass. The tubes appear to be hollow but very sturdy. I see no damage other than some tarnishing. This is a beautiful piece. Its needs a good cleaning and polishing. The smallest door is a swinging door. It does have a cut out at the bottom where the hardware was to attach it to the floor. It also has a hole in the top edge of the door for the pin that held the top in place. It is missing it's hardware accept the doorknob plate. VINTAGE SOLID WOOD INTERIOR FRENCH DOORS - lot of 4 - from 1920's
These four French doors are from my colonial house in Spring Glen In Hamden. CT built in 1928. Original doors from when the house was built. They have been stored in my basement for 25 years. Three of the doors are 30" wide by 80" long. They are almost 2" thick. The 4th door was cut at one time or another. The fourth door measures approximately 80" x 30" and is about 1 1/2" thick. I am unsure of the type of wood. From looking at others I think they are maple because that was the wood used in that time period but, again, I am not 100% sure. Local pick-up is in Cheshire, CT. Vintage Antique 5 Panel solid core Wood Door - Primitive Shabby Gypsy Junk Decor
This is an antique Wooden 5-panel residential Door. It’s measurements are 23 ½” wide. 78” tall, and 1 3/8” thick. The door weighs 29 pounds. Some years back. I removed this door from a 100-year-old house that had not been lived in for 50 years. I believe this was a pantry door. The door is sized for a 2’0” x 6’6” opening. Currently it has a pair of surface mount hinges. But has been cut for jamb mount hinges once upon a time. It also currently has an opening handle and a slide latch. The door appears to have been light green in color once upon a time. And over time that paint soaked in and faded, and gives a very rustic look where it is present. It appears that it was then painted white. And probably latex, because that paint is very loose and flaking off like crazy and would probably be very easily removed down to the original green ... morewith light scraping or sanding. The door’s joints are very solid. And the door is very flat(not warped) The wood underneath the paint is in very good condition. Of course. It would serve perfectly as a door, but could also be used for a multitude of decorative purposes such as a 5-panel, two sided, multi-picture photograph or picture display. The raised portion of the recesses measures 11 ¾” x 7 ½” and would be well-suited to mount a photo or vintage printed material on. The possibilities are endless. Penn Antique Restoration. 32"x76" Vintage Exterior Door w/3 Glass Lites& 3 Panels. Sturdy. Antique, exterior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. It's made of either solid pine or Douglas Fir, and features 3 glass lites and 3 panels. When most people hear"pine" they think of a cheap. Weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10- 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. Height: The door's height was unevenly cut by 1/4" The cut was most likely made to compensate for a settling foundation or an old warped floor. We could cut it to an even 76" Shorter, or even build it up to make it taller-Email us for a quote. ... moreHardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However. Vintage Entry Kitchen Paneled Solid Wood Door w/ Lights and Frame 32 X 80
Vintage solid wood door. All joints are tight, does not wobble or wiggle when on the hinges. All stained except for the obvious two bottom panels on the inside. Nice clear straight grain, looks like Spruce. Has some hardware from curtains and shades yet was inside a stairwell out of the sun. Has one piece of trim missing on right side of bottom window. All windows are real glass. Frame is included if you like, it had only a few nails that I cut from the side so no digs in the frame from pulling out the nails. Had been used as an interior door. The beveled and textured leaded glass is in an octagonal shape. The door in general has a nice design and is very substantial as it weighs 85 lbs and the wood is thick. Shows some typical wear with some surface scratches. There is light paint residue that should clean up.Nice graining. One hinge is bent. But hardware is intact including the door handles. No lock. There are two panes with cracks as shown. 8 small jewels. Good looking door that just needs a little TLC. VINTAGE SOLID HARDWOOD FRENCH DOORS SIZE: 60" X 81-1/2" ORIGINAL BRASS HARDWARE Offered are a pair of vintage solid hardwood French doors circa 1920s being sold as is. I believe these may be Walnut. But I am not a wood expert. This set measures approximately 60" x 81-1/2" The door thickness is approximately 1-3/4" Each door weighs approximately 52 pounds. All of the original brass hardware is included but the hinges are missing. I have taken photos of the both the fronts and backs of these beautiful doors as well as some pictures at different angles. Pictures of the hardware is also included. As you can see from the pictures. EACH French door has four rows of 3 glass window panes across, or 12 glass window panes- none of the panes are cracked or broken. Each glass pane measures approximately 5" wide by 13-3/4" ... morelong. The measurement from the bottom of the door to the trim of the lowest row of glass is approximately 16-1/4" All of the original brass hardware is included, and photos include pictures of the door knobs, striker plate, and the mortise locking mechanisms. The varnish on the doors does show signs of crazing, which is to be expected for the age of these doors. In my opinion, this is a very beautiful set of French doors. It is a medium to dark colored wood, but it shows up lighter in the pictures with flash(had to use flash to show wood grain. Measures 32 1/2" tall x 19 3/4" wide x 1 1/16" thick.
