Up for your consideration is this beautiful dresser. I am 60 yrs old. My mother purchased this dresser for me at an auction when I was 20. At the time when my mom bought it. The dresser was an antique. That tells me it is at least 60 years old. I think it is walnut wood. I also think it is veneer. Please understand that I am not a wood expert so I could be wrong. The designs in the wood are beautiful. I hope you can see that by looking at the pictures. I really like the depth of the drawers on this dresser. Each drawer is capable of holding a lot of clothing. I stripped the top and left slight remains of its past in the surface. It was then cleaned and hand wiped with 3 coats of furniture wax. The original solid cast bronze hardware is also included. The original large mirror goes over the lower long dresser and has the original glass which is in good condition. This is all hand crafted with dove tail joints.really nice work! The set needs refinishing. There are scratches on the top but the flamed front has remained in very good condition. Antique Tiger Oak Dresser W/ Beveled Mirror 4 drawers PALMDALE CA PICKUP ONLY
This is a tiger oak antique dresser that I've had for years. It's time to sell so my loss is your gain! Mirror has lovely carvings at the top and bottom but also some dark areas. Please see photos. Also has beveled edges and is marked 1908 on the back. Honestly, it could be 1906, I can't pull it away from the wall as yet. In good antique condition with one small hole(see pix#11) that my husband made to attach wire to secure it to the wall. We live in earthquake country. Dresser looks great. No obvious scratches. There is 3 or 4 small chips on the bottom of the front(see pix#12) I'm sure the back is rough though, as was the custom way back then. It has 4 good sized drawers. The handles may be reproduction, the screws look new. The locks look old though. Dovetailed corners show it was once painted green, but has been stripped ... moreback to its original finish. Back piece of drawers slide into place. The legs have small wheel casters on the bottom. Dresser measures 42 inches across the widest point. 22 1/2 inches deep. Dresser is 35 inches tall and the mirror adds another 40 inches. Mirror frame is 38 inches wide at the bottom. This matched chest. And dresser are made of Maple and Walnut woods. These pieces come from the Peoples Outfitters company. More of the history of that company are below. Both are in good condition, with little wear for their age. The drawers move easy and are dove tail, the detail space between drawers have a slight curve for"hidden pulls" under the drawers, good if you have little ones that pull on handles. The color is most like the picture showing the drawer pull, any spots you see are from flash glare or gunk on my lens. These are mint condition with minor knicks from moving them that are an easy fix. I know that these are worth a lot of money but I am a reasonable person. I really just want to sell them to someone who would cherish them. We have cats. And dogs, and young adults who do not appreciate the value of these items. A Vietnam Veteran friend of my husband gave them to me because of our help and now both he and my husband have passed so there is sentimental value in there as well. Antique Vintage Rare Shaving Mirror with Scalloped Glass Iron Holder / Stand
Up for bid is a very nice Antique Vintage Shaving Mirror with scalloped glass. attached to an iron frame holder that can double as a stand. It swivels. Tilts forward, and all. The Iron is in great shape and works perfectly. The mirror itself has some wear and shows its age and has a small dot imperfection on the middle right. The mirror has some sort of girl design with flowers on the top left. I don't know much about this mirror. I was told by a friend that it was an antique and probably worth a good amount of money. I don't know the age. Maker, etc. from looking at other listings, it perhaps could be from the 1800's or very early 1900's. Antique Cherry 2 over 4 chest of drawers with mirror from Penn State Dorms
I purchased this from Penn State University as a student in 1989 as they were selling all of the original dorm furniture from one of their buildings. Most likely made by Pennsylvania House furniture of cherry. 2 upper drawers have keyholes but I do not have the key. Mirror pivots on swivels. The back had been replaced with a piece of paneling. Dovetail construction with original feet. The brass knobs are all similar but do not match exactly. Bottom drawer has some wear where it rubs against the slider. May actually be walnut instead of cherry.

Up for bid is a Lovely Antique dresser top vanity mirror with drawer in what looks to be made of mahogany with the original finish with a great patina in excellent condition for its age. The mirror has the original silvering to it showing slight age to it and is still very nice to use daily. It also comes complete with all its original hardware as well. I would place the time period from around the 1920’s or so done in an early American style and would fit into several periods of furniture and make a great useful look in any home. Dresser and Vanity with stool) This is the Airflow Design- the finest of HW's pre-war bedroom designs.the Airflow group, designed by Leo Jiranek. Produced in 1937-39. Dresser with four large drawers- the top one partitioned into three sections. Measures 42" x 20" x34" high. Bed- full sized with original wooden side rails. Very sturdy. Low profile design with headboard and footboard. Vanity and stool- GORGEOUS original large circular mirror. Glass shelf and six drawers. This set is truly original and adds a beautiful vintage/art deco feel to your home. One of the hardest to find HW designs. Too! Lovely Antique Pine Dresser RARE Teardrop Pulls. This piece is simply beautiful. It has a gorgeous Patina. You can leave it as it is today or refinish if you like. I personally think a little wax and it is perfect the way it is.Great nicks, and little holes in some of the wood make it a great unique piece. I really dont know the age of it, but it is clearly early. Check out all the photos please, the dresser is sold as is, since this is an old antique piece. I hate to part with it, but we are changing our decor a bit and it no longer fits with the rest of the home.
