You are bidding on a Vintage Serpentine 5 Drawer Dresser. This is an absolutely beautiful dresser. It measures approximately 47" high by 35" wide and 20" deep. The veneer on the top left rear corner has a very small area that is raised. The decor of the front left leg is missing and one of the handles of the bottom drawer is also missing. A large solid mahogany top, molded and incredibly carved on the facade and formed in the reverse serpentine of the chest, rests over a collection of four graduated drawers. The chamfered and fluted corners flank the drawers. Each fully serpentine in form. The flamed mahogany veneers framed in cockbead molding applied around the edges of the drawer, hiding the dovetail construction of the drawers on the front. Beautiful Turn of the Century American Oak Dresser Up for your consideration: A wonderful example of fine artistry by American Furniture Makers. This beautiful dresser was purchased at an old estate auction and although a lot of items came from Germany. This belonged to a couple of sisters who moved here from Germany. I am pretty sure they probably purchased it here in America rather than bringing it with them. It does resemble typical American Oak Dressers of the time period- I would say somewhere in the neighborhood of the 1900-1920's. They were quite up in years and the dresser was quite old when they purchased it and I found an Old Catholic Confirmation Certificate(in English) dated 1910 rolled up with what appeared to be an old Marriage License(in German) The lovely Beveled Mirror is in Excellent condition for its age and is framed ... morein a the beautiful Victorian tradition. Beveled Mirror attached well and swivels up or down. The Drawers feature the Grand Serpentine style. The drawers all lock and of course the original skeleton key is included. I invite you to consider this Beautiful Turn of the Century American Oak Dresser and helping my family become more debt free at the same time! A wonderful example of fine artistry by American Furniture Makers. This beautiful dresser was purchased at an old estate auction and although a lot of items came from Germany. This belonged to a couple of sisters who moved here from Germany. I am pretty sure they probably purchased it here in America rather than bringing it with them. It does resemble typical American Oak Dressers of the time period- I would say somewhere in the neighborhood of the 1900-1920's. They were quite up in years and the dresser was quite old when they purchased it and I found an Old Catholic Confirmation Certificate(in English) dated 1910 rolled up with what appeared to be an old Marriage License(in German) The lovely ... moreBeveled Mirror is in Excellent condition for its age and is framed in a the beautiful Victorian tradition. Beveled Mirror attached well and swivels up or down. The Drawers feature the Grand Serpentine style. The drawers all lock and of course the original skeleton key is included. I am not sure however if the dresser’s knobs are original or not. The Dresser features the rare and beautiful Tiger Oak Construction. Quarter Sawn) The drawers are all in pretty fine condition. One drawer seems to want to go in further than it should but could be easily remedied. There is also a chip in the front edge of one of the left drawers. This beautiful. Vintage, Ammerican-made, solid wood, bow front dresser would make a wonderful addition to any bedroom suite. Hand crafted from solid wood, mostly likely oak, this dresser is of quality construction, with dovetail joints and has a beautiful finish. Mounted-on castors make it easy to move this piece at will. It comes with the original, beautifully aged, oval mirror, however, the frame and support for the mirror is broken and/or missing parts. They were supposed to all be in a drawer in the dresser when purchased at Estate Sale in March, however, the mounting pieces were not included and the mirror frame is in multiple pieces and not entirely there. Here is a fabulous small serpentine chest of drawers measuring 6 1/2" h x 10" w x 5" d finely made in what I believe is walnut(but I cannot guarantee that) take a look at photos. Maybe you can tell what kind of wood it is. Antique Vintage Serpentine Mahogany 12 Drawer Dresser Mirror Bow Front Buffet
Hi this is a great matching mahogany 12 drawer serpentine dresser and mirror in very good used condition. The mirror is a wall mounted mirror and does not attach to the dresser. I am willing to sell the mirror separately for the right price. The dresser is wonderful with a platform base and symmetrical sides with very cool curves. The dresser measures 60 1/4" long 20" deep and 33 1/2" tall. The top is 1 3/8" thick. The side drawers are 19" wide internally and graduated heights. The top is 3" then they get taller by an inch as you go down 4" 5" and 6" on the bottom. The mirror has no chips cracks or breaks and the silver is good and even throughout and it measures approximately 52" by 33 3/4" I am selling this for a friend who has had this in the family a long time and never mounted the ... moremirror over the dresser. The stain on the mirror is a bit darker than the dresser as I believe it was not used and in storage most of the time. The mirror is wood backed and has mounting wires on the back and is ready to hang. I am in San Jose and delivery in the bay area is ok. You can also arrange to preview this set before bidding. A fine antique. Circa 1920, solid mahogany and rosewood veneers Louis XVI classical sepentine dresser with composite plum and pink marble top. The drawers are inlaid in fine bandings and mother of pearl dots, with rosette and wreath brass pulls. The doors and sides are in another fine inlay banding. The case is on fluted and partial gilted legs. The center bow doors open to pull forward gliding mahogany drawers, the side doors to compartment with a stationary shelf. Dresser measures 37-1/2" tall by 51-1/2" wide by 24" deep at center. Excellent condition: without chips or cracks(minor chip to edge of left center door) original finish, veneers and inlays complete. The marble slab is without damage, no ring spots.

Great shape dresser with both dovetailed front and back of drawers.Serpentine front, Claw feet and wooden casters. There is a small character flaw on bottom drawer that I think was a burn mark but not sure. Has nice cubby with Ornate carved door that has curved shape. The wooden back and top also are both in excellent shape! Is old and may have some scratches and flaws but overall is very nice and was refinished well. Casters all work good and easy!
