The mirror glass is clear. It has minor scuffs from us moving and age. The bed rails have marks on the finish and have a split on one. The set has castors on each piece. A few of the wooden wheels are gone. The bed is a full/ double. The metal hooks(shown pictured in the drawer) are to hold the mattress. All the drawers have dove tails. All drawers move freely. The tall dresser has 3 drawers. The top drawer is decorative. I believe all the hardware is original. It is matching and in great condition. This beautiful antique dresser has its approximate circa in the 1940's. It is very unique. And one must stand in awe of its beauty and craftsmanship. As seen in the photo, there are six drawers: two small ones under the mirror, two mid-size drawers, and two large ones. A beautiful emblem(unidentified, but which appears to be somewhat of a royal cup) is displayed on the face of the first large drawer. The larger mirror is braced by beautiful, fancy spirals, which allows the mirror's angle to be adjusted. Beside the spirals(atop the two smaller drawers) the same emblem(displayed on the large drawer) is crafted into the wood-work. Up for auction is a very nice old piece of bedroom furniture. This dresser is from the 1940's and it's the last piece left of my mother's bedroom set. The dresser stands 3 feet high. 44 inches long, and 21 inches wide, and it is quit heavy. It is in good condition and very useable, but needs restoration work like refinishing. Vintage Imperial California Rancho Monterey Dresser and Wall Mirror 1940's
Vintage IMPERIAL Dresser and Matching Wall Mirror Set. Made by the Imperial Cabinet Co. of Los Angeles. California. Both pieces are signed with the Imperial name and King's Crown mark. The dresser and mirror are both hand painted and patterned in the desirable California Rancho, Spanish Revival, Western style that was so popular in the 1930's and 40's, and remains so today. Not only has their beauty and style lasted the test of time, but the superb craftsmanship and superior quality of the Imperial Cabinet Co. is also evident. This furniture was absolutely built to endure. After 70+ years, there are obviously going to be some imperfections here and there, all of which I believe simply add to their charm. There some area's of fade on the top and corners, natural oil stains around knobs, after years of opening and closing the ... moredrawers. Light scratches here and there, but nothing serious. There are no cracks or breaks of any kind on either piece. Just an all around amazing set in excellent vintage condition. The mirror can be rested on the dresser(as shown in most of the photo's) but does have wire affixed solidly for hanging. The dresser measures 32" wide and 17 1/2" from back to front. The mirror measures 32" tall and 20" wide. This set is being offered with free local pick-up. I am located in Southern California, approximately 30-40 minutes outside of Los Angeles. For a small fee, I do have a truck and may be willing to either deliver, or meet somewhere in the middle of the general L.A. and surrounding area. VINTAGE 1940's SOLID WOOD(POPLAR? VANITY DRESSING TABLE DRESSER ~VERY COOL! Here we offer this vintage solid wood vanity dressing table. We are unsure of the type wood. We think may be poplar, but uncertain. This vanity we believe is 1940's. It is an older piece with a really cool retro look! It has some normal knicks and wear that can be expected, It adds character to the vanity. But overall, the finish is in really good condition. It is missing a couple of the roller wheels on the bottom and two pieces of the mirror up top. And we believe it should have a detailed piece of trim over each of the missing mirror pieces and those are not there as well. The new owner will need to replace the mirror and trim. But for the age, it's awesome! It is very sturdy and would make someone a very nice vanity. It measures approximately 30.25"H ... morex 39.75W x 17"D. From bottom to top of mirror measures 65.75"H. We have taken pics of it sitting inside the shed and also out in the sunlight. There is a glare that looks like discoloration, this is from the sunlight and reflection of the mirror. For sale is a late 1920's to early 1940's Oak Mirrored Dresser the dresser is in great shape for being as old as it is. But it does need some re-finish and restoration work done to it There are a few nail pops and a few corners where the wood joints are separating. Antique Dressing Table Vanity or Dresser ca.1940's
1940's era dressing table or vanity, What little I know about this(age and type) I learned from the owner of a consignment shop that specializes in antique furniture. Drawers are dovetailed and fronts appear to be a laminate. The three panel mirrors are in good shape aside from chipping as shown in picture#5. Has various nicks and scratches and the finial at the top is cracked and has apparently come off and be reattached with a single screw.
