The seat is approximately 17 1/2 inches deep(front to back) the front of the seat is about 15 inches high. This would be a fine addition to a craftsman bungalow decor. Identification This antique L. and J.G. Stickley chair retains its original"THE WORK OF L. J.G. STICKLEY" paper label beneath one arm. As shown. It is circa early 20th century. Condition The chair looks good overall. It has its original leather seat. Which has wear and some staining. The finish appears to be original. The oak has minor nicks, scuffs, and dings, all of which are normal wear for an antique chair. DECO TIGER MAPLE VANITY 1920s DREXEL
Rare Drexel vanity from the 1920s or 30s. The exterior is done in beautiful Tiger Mable veneer. The finish I far from perfect. But all of the veneer is there and ready for refinishing. All of the hardware is original and complete. One piece of trim is missing from the left lower side. Originally came with a round mirror, and you can see where it was attached to the back. All of the drawers are dovetailed and the wood inside is also maple. There are six metal feet that also appear to be original.

Signed"Peck and Hills of Grand Rapids. Mich. the construction is superior with traditional shell motifs and a pediment crest. Drawers have original brasses and solid oak dovetailed sides. The original finish is very well preserved with minor mars at the edges. Waxed and polished. Only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm glow. Vintage 1920's Four Drawer Minature Chest of Drawers
This great miniature is from my wife's collection. The chest is 11.5" tall 7.75" across. And 4" deep. I think it was made for some little girl because the bottoms of the drawers are rough sawn and not smoothed. The splash back lifts off and everything is original. We haven't even tried to clean. We purchased the piece in Minnesota while we still lived there.

VINTAGE TRI-MIRRORED VANITY AND CHAIR FROM THE FORMER PALM SPRINGS HOME OF MISS BETTE DAVIS While not a film prop that I know of. This vintage(circa 1920's-30's) vanity dressing table and chair came from the former Palm Springs home of Miss Bette Davis. According to local lore, Miss Davis owned Villa Finamente at 784 Patencio in Palm Springs, near the homes of Mary Pickford, Marie Dressler, Greta Garbo, Barbra Streisand and other film greats in the lovely Las Palmas neighborhood. The former home of Miss Davis, which is pointed out on the Palm Springs City Bus Tour, was Bette's Palm Springs vacation home in the 1940's and then sold sometime in the 1950's. As is an old Palm Springs tradition, homes were often sold"turnkey" meaning all furniture, appliances, artwork, linens, nik-naks, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, ... moreetc. remained in the home upon its sale. The last owner, who purchased the home from Miss Davis, sold the home and all its contents, as"turnkey" is no longer as popular. Many of the pieces sold may have belonged to Miss Davis, but there was no specific proof. The estate sale was held by Ben Hegel Estate Sales Specialist. Although they were aware that this had previously been Miss Davis' home, I was told they had no knowledge that any particular piece may have been hers, with the exception of this vanity and chair. I asked how they knew it had been Miss Davis' The response was that there was an 8x10" photo of Miss Davis sitting at the same vanity, which was sold first thing in the morning along with some other photos of Miss Davis. I asked why they would not keep the photo to be sold with the vanity. The reply was, We didn't think about that! I believe someone in the Palm Springs area, who is perhaps a Davis fan, has this photograph. I do, however, have photographs of the vanity being removed from the Via Finamente estate and a receipt for the vanity on the original Via Finamente Stationery. A piece that is from the original Haverty Furniture Company that we now know as just Haverty's. I believe this dates to around the 20's going by the Logo design. This may have originally been a small buffet or dining room side table as the top drawer had dividers at one time. There also appears to have been another layer of veneer on the top but there still is a nice mahogany top. I think the front is quarter sawn also giving it that striped look. This Davis Cherry Wood Cumberland Set is Beautifully Done. Bought 9-26-49 as stated on the back of the furnitue. You can own a piece of Nashville history with this bed set. This wonderful dresser comes with a glass top. There are nicks of use on the top and over the right front handle. The second drawer sticks where the screws above should be tighten. The bed has several lighten areas maybe from moisture. It can easily be refinished but I am no expert on refinishing so I leave it as found. The mirror on the back is approximately 8 inches high. All the drawer handles are in good condition as are the drawers. Noted are the pieces in the chest frame that are under each drawer to prevent dirt and debris from falling into the drawers below. Up for sale is a signed Monterey 5 drawer dresser with tile in the top. Tiles are Tudor. 6x6- the dresser is in good condition with nice patina. It has the normal bumps and scratches but as you can see it is really nice looking and presents well. Iron straps on the feet- nice scroll at the top and iron handles. Corbels in the front add nicely to this piece. Shipping will not be cheap but if you live in CA I can possibly deliver it for a fee. You can come pick it up at my shop as well. Offered is a KINDEL Furniture Co. Dresser-top mirror with single drawer unit. Made in Grand Rapids. Mi. Made between 1936 to 1949(verified) of solid Honduras Mahogany in the Oxford finish. Piece is from the collection called"Belvedere" Not marked on piece, but verified from the factory as such. Mid-century look. Very solid and no loose wood joints or re-glues. There is a slight scuff at left. Shown in photo 5, and minor blemishes here and there. But overall is attractive and well deserving of your attention. The four legs are also intact and have new felt pads applied to the bottom of each. Can be used on a dressing/makeup table also. It has its normal minor scratches as would be expected. But no abuse or"fixed" wooden areas. The mirror tilts and can be secured in any position by the original hardware shown. see pics) ... moreThe mirror glass is good with some minor ghosting. But hardly noticeable. Mirror frame size is: 15-1/2" High x 19-1/2" wide, item overall is: 22" wide x 22-1/2" high x 7-1/2" deep. Backside wooden cover is intact and appears to have been never removed. Has stamped original logo with Washington's image. Not sure what other numbers are but suspect lot code. Etc. The drawer front has what appears to be a keyhole. But is fake. The top finials are solid and side rails are not removable. Hardware is antiqued looking and clean with no corrosion. Some slight rust to inside screws holding down the pulls. No issue. Thanks for looking
