Up for bid is the vintage/antique WOOD SALESMAN'S SAMPLE VANITY DRESSER/ CHEST OF DRAWERS w/ MIRROR. As seen in the pictures/ as described in the title. Looks to be about 1/4 scale. Features a rotating mirror and(3) operable drawers(2 small at top, 1 large at bottom) Arts and Crafts style. Unsigned/no maker's mark(s) Exact age is unknown but I would venture to guess it is from the late 19th/early-to-mid 20th century. Found at an indoor flea market in Andover, N.J. in a booth that was filled with only amazing, old treasures) Made of a lightweight/low density variety of wood(perhaps oak, pine or alike) held together with both nails& screws(see pics) Stained dark brown with lovely patina. Excellent vintage condition with NO major defects whatsoever. Some small/light scratches(mostly to dresser top surface) and other very minor"blemishes" ... morethroughout. Structurally solid& sturdy. Sits flat with NO wobble. I cleaned the dust and smudges off the mirror BUT did nothing else. So aside from the mirror. It is being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. The Shaving Mirror sits on Ball feet and has handmade dovetailing on the Draw. The Antique One Draw looks to be Walnut and is in very good aged condition with a old split in the draw bottom that has an old repair. The front has some minor damage to the veneer near the Draw opening and small age crack on the back corner. The back of this Old Shaving Mirror draw area is fasten with old cut nails. The Old One Draw Shaving Mirror is 16" tall ... more14 ½" wide and 6 ¾" deep. The Mirror is in very nice condition with just a minor spot of silvering missing in the lower corner. We could not find any maker's mark or where it was made; maybe by the Pictures we have placed someone in EBAY land can tell us. This is a very nice. Well made, sturdy, solid, vanity set from the 1920's or 1930's I think. The mirror is nice& clear, there are a couple minor scratches that could be polished over easily. I don't know what kind of wood it is or what the style is called. The vanity with the mirror measures approx 57" tall x 34" wide x 21" deep. The matching chair measures approx 36" tall x 15-1/2" wide x 16" deep. There is no makers mark or tag that I can find on this set. The wood on the vanity surface is a beautiful wood grain design. These pieces are part of a whole bedroom set but being offered also as individual pieces. Made of walnut burl wood which was the most decorative veneer used in the period and much sought after and considered a"prized possession" It also features a masterful intricate marquetry design. Additionally it shows carved details. Overall largest measurements are approximately: Dresser: 61" wide x 20" deep x 36" high- the center part is 28" wide x 30-1/2" high. Either drawer's side is 16-1/2" wide x 36" high, all ... more20" deep. Stoo l bench: 30" wide x 26" high(to the seat's top itself is about 19" and is about 16" deep. It has been recently re-upholstered The frame is 26" wide x 48" high and finely carved. The glass is in excellent condition. The style is French Rococo in the fashion of the 18th century French royal court and Louis XV and it dates between 1915 and 1925. The top drawers are compartmentalized and lined with protective covers. Excellent condition with top protective thick crystal glass(right side is missing the glass. Miniature Antique 3 Drawer Dresser Old estate find. This is a great little antique dresser. Not sure whether it is a salesman sample or a miniature collectible, but it is a very nice piece. I believe the wood is chestnut and it has the original finish. Three drawers with original wood drawer pulls, nicely constructed with side panels and small backsplash on the back. Old unfinished wood on the back. The wood on the bottom may have been replaced, I'm not sure. Very nice little piece in very good antique condition. Old Ship wicker table lamp ....in Orginal state from old Estate!
~~ Arts/Crafts table lamp ~~ Great Period Wicker table lamp with Original Shade! I found& bought this great lamp about 30 years ago from a Estate sale that had the complet e Wicker Living room set sold to someone else. But they didn't see this lamp in another room. So I bought it& have enjoyed it ever since. It does have the org wicker on it, socket.Wiring& plug,lamp shade with a full 360 degree ship& harbor scene. but it's not perfect. It does have a few items I need to mention.a couple wicker strands are broken o n the last row on the bottom of the base, the shade has numerous brown edging strips missing& a inside stain(see pictures) It's 27" tall to the Org. finial Wiring should be replaced.To be safe. Great estate Find with this pair of good condition Vintage Drapes. Size of each panel; 82" tall 22" wide at top with the pleats 42" wide at the bottom.Opened all the way Bright colors.No rips,tears or holes back side liner is open at the bottom seam& looks as to never been sewed. but a little frizzle which could be hemmed. see picture) It still has dry clean tags on them. These drapes came from a lady that had them boxed up for years at the estate sale. I do not know if they came from a pet free house. No smoke smell but has a fragrance. Like if you open a women's dresser draw type aroma.not bad& maybe just a airing out needed.

It is unknown as to the manufacturer but surely American. Measurements: Height to top of mirror: 60-3/4” Height to top of table surface: 29” Width(table surface at back) 36-1/2” Depth: 20-1/2” Drawer Fronts: Glove Box: 11” x 3” Locking Drawer: 18-1/2” x 4” Condition: The underside interior near the front left leg shows traces of glue from what appears to be an old repair where the bow of the wood has stressed. Or Dresser has a beautiful finish. it has been lightly redone with denatured alcohol to smooth out the finish as well as a coating of raw linseed oil. There was moisture on the bottom. The dresser is 47 1/2 inches tall 35 1/2 inches wide 17 7/8 Inches deep I cleaned it up a bit as you can see. the veneer on the bottom started to peel. But has been re-glued. I could do more but do not ave the time. Roaring 1920's French Vanity. So Beautiful! Full Mirror and Swing Side Panels.
Gorgeous old 1920's French dresser. It is a chippy french blue and has gold gilt highlights over the seriously ornate Barbola Rose swags and whimsical ribbons carved in the motif. It still has it's old castors in the drawer if you so desire. Also. The tops had glass that was scratched pretty good.and I am having two new pieces cut as we speak for those tops. The side mirrors swivel and the clasp that holds them back still works well. It has lovely smokey cut glass knobs. The dresser top is a wonderful piece of oak, nicely age patinated. The legs have reeding style moulding and there are a few small mouldings adding to the subtle style.
