Offered for sale is this"Large" American Oak Highboy Hat Box Dresser. This is a wonderful old dresser it has it's original beveled mirror(slight hazing but a good reflection) it has all of it's original hardware. It has 3 large flat front drawers, above them are 2 small serpentine drawers and a serpentine hat box door. Both the mirror yoke and the mirror frame have wonderfull applied carving. The inside of the drawers on this piece look as if they have never been used, they are that clean. Oak Highboy Dresser Curved Front
This auction is for a Oak Highboy Dresser with curved front drawers. I bought this from my brother in 1978. He refinished it and added the drawer pulls. There are some nicks. Scratches and chips. The drawer bottoms need to be glued. Also, the dresser is a bit wobbly when moving via it's wheels. One of the drawer pull's handle is missing. Overall, the dresser looks good. Selling this beautiful antique oak highboy chest in Excellent condition. Pulls are perfect and each drawer has it's own functional lock. The chest looks good all the way around and measures 46" high by 34" wide by 15" deep. Check out the drawer joints on this piece. See pic#3. ANTIQUE VINTAGE HIGHBOY TIGER OAK DRESSER ORNATE CARVED BARLEY TWIST So. Here’s what I know about this gorgeous dresser. My mom purchased it(second hand) back in the sixties. She painted it green(ARGH!I’ve never stopped giving her grief about it:^) I stripped/refinished it back in the 70s, and it’s been in constant use since then. It’s in overall GORGEOUS condition. No damage anywhere EXCEPT on the top where my sister placed a plant without protection(another ARGH! The spot is very slightly warped…I’m 99.9% sure that it could be sanded out, but I chose to leave it(didn’t want to mess with the aged finish) Otherwise, other than a bit of green paint remnants here and there(nothing obvious) it’s in fantastic condition. No wobbles…firmly seated. Dovetailed drawers are all solid/function perfectly. All are unlined except for one of the small center ... moredrawers…it had been lined in(worn) red felt for years; I recently replaced the felt. Perfectly functioning side cupboards. No scents/odors at all…always in non-smoking homes. It measures 48”H x 38”W x 20”D. Available for local(Phoenix) pickup. Shipping available ONLY if winning bidder makes all arrangements! Real Vintage Golden OAK Highboy Dresser w/ Wooden Carved FLOWER Knobs Pretty!!
Offered is a vintage highboy dresser featuring carved flower knobs! It has 10 drawers which are all dovetail construction, and two drawers have locks. But when I bought the piece 8 years ago from a private seller in Illinois. They did not have the keys, or any other information about it. It is heavy and sturdy. with no significant scratches. The largest dimensions are 56 inches tall(including both parts) 35 inches wide 20.5 inches deep Manufacturer and specific age unknown. Manufacturer numbers on upper piece is 1234 1/2 and numbers on main piece is 1264. The top piece just sets on top of the main piece making it much easier to move such a heavy dresser. The age I am guessing anywhere between 1900-early 1950s. I re-decorated my master bedroom into a mid-century modern theme and my other rooms do not need a dresser. I have totally enjoyed ... morethis dresser. But have no need for it and it does not have any sentimental value. Beautiful Item for Your Bedroom! Fine antique oak highboy dresser chest of drawers ca. 1900
Lovely old antique solid oak highboy dresser from the turn of the century. It is 48.5 x 44 x 19.5" Very nice condition with a beautiful original mellow patina. There are a couple of discoloration spots on top and at the top of the backsplash the wood is chipped. It can only be seen from the back. Otherwise excellent shape. All the drawers are dovetailed and open and close smoothly. Free pickup is always welcome. Buyer must arrange shipping. We have a local company that is very reasonable. UP FOR AUCTION Very Nice High Boy Dresser made of Oak. I do not believe hardware is original! Great shape dresser with both dovetailed front and back of drawers.Serpentine front, Claw feet and wooden casters. There is a small character flaw on bottom drawer that I think was a burn mark but not sure. Has nice cubby with Ornate carved door that has curved shape. The wooden back and top also are both in excellent shape! Is old and may have some scratches and flaws but overall is very nice and was refinished well. Casters all work good and easy!
