And is probably American Made(it is not marked ... moreanywhere) The chair looks to be machine made. Because of the turnings of the front posts, but it could be partially hand made. It is solid oak. It has been painted 4 times. Possibly originally. There are only scattered chips of paint, but on a couple I was able to determine that the chair has been painted pink(originally? Light blue. Dark green. And this current pea green. In that order. The chair is super strong and could probably hold an adult with a butt small enough to fit into it. The width of the seat is 12 1/2" x 11 1/4" The chair is 21" tall. 15 1/2" wide at the front and 12 1/2" wide at the back. The rockers are 21" long exactly. The arms are nicely cut in kind of a early American style. The back has 2 2" slats and the seat has 5 2" slats; they are not cracked. There is no structural issues with this chair. Please see the Description Section where I go into detail as to condition. The paint has dulled and taken on a nice patina of its own. But this chair has not been painted in decades, and in fact, the tone of the green has a certain" 1950's" coloring to it. As I state in the Description Section. This paint on this chair could be lead base. Or Kemtone. A brand name paint from the 1950's that adhered well and perhaps also had lead in it. For this reason, I would say this chair is more for an adult to decorate with than it is for a child to use. One of the nicest very nice early to mid- 20th Century children's chair you will see. You'd say"Fauteuil" They were probably manufactured after the second world war, and are made of solid walnut. The upholstery is fairly new, clean and no pet or smoking odors. The seats have springs are nicely firm. The backs have a slight"crunch" to them, which makes me think they have horsehair in there somewhere. Nice old school materials. The pieces have all the curves and cabriolets of this particular style, and have bits of floral-motif hand carving on the crest, the knees of the front legs, and the center of the skirt. They are solid and sturdy- I can see one joint that looks like it may have been re-glued. There are no repaired splits. There are two odd circular pits in the back of one of the legs- very shallow, and the size of a collar button. Other than that, magnifique! Shipping is FREE in the USA. There is a stamp on the back that is faded but I believe it says “property of school” and I can’t make out the rest. It’s very sturdy and comfortable surprisingly. Easy to store away as well or make it a statement piece for conversation starters. Not too heavy but heavy enough to feel sturdy. The mirror would rather“float” ... morebetween the iron frame. It has two decorative hinge type connectors that would secure the mirror. I am not a very“handy” type person and I cannot get the mirror inside this frame. It seems too wide. But I know that is just because I do not know how to secure it. This mirror definitely goes with this frame, so it has to fit. I know a“handy” type person could get it secured. If you are"unhandy. like me, you get 2 cool separate pieces! The frame is a cast iron or wrought iron black metal piece in very good condition– no rust– very good condition. The metal has a twisted ribbon like look. I have yet to find any maker’s mark on this piece. But it could be that I do not know where to look. Due to the design– a maker’s mark could be hidden. The mirror has a thick rough or scalloped type beveled edge. I was going to say no chips. But on closer I think there may possibly be a chip in one of the scallops. Rather hard to tell due to the decorative cut at the edges of the mirror. Also. As you can see, the silver or mercury backing has worn off in several places. It is an old piece. Exact age unknown– I do not know if this is an older vintage piece– I assume collectors can tell by the mirror cut and the frame style- Size: The metal frame measures approx 12 3/4ths inches in length. The center cut-out measures approx 6 1/4 by 4 1/8th inches. The mirror measures approx 5 3/4ths by 3 5/8ths inches. It is approx 1/4 inch thick at the edges. Condition: The cast iron frame still looks very good. As you can see. The back of the mirror shows much wear. As stated above, the mirror has a thick rough beveled edge and it is difficult to tell, but there may be a chip on one of the scalloped edges. Rather hard to tell due to the decorative cut at the edges of the mirror. Well packaged. This rather unique old vintage or antique primitive mirror will weigh over 1 pound, but

This early 20th century dresser originally was part of a 7 bedroom set. It has the original brass stamp of authenticity on the left inside of the top drawer. Which was the authenticity stamp used from 1913-1925. The measurements are:51.25"X 34.0"X 17.75" It was part of my Great Grandmother's bedroom set and has been an item of interest and intrigue by all who appreciate well-made early 20th century furniture and cabinet making. A very unique antique. Tiger oak, hat box, claw feet, nice carving on the mirror base, bevelled glass mirror. And very ornate hardware. This is about 34" wide. 20" deep, dresser height 48 1/2" and with the mirror, 69 1/2" The casters have wood wheels. This has no broken parts and all of the drawers open and close easy. This is a really nice piece. It measures only 14 3/4" tall, 7 1/2" across the widest, and 5 3/8" deep. There is handwriting in pencil on the back of the mirror, I cannot make it out, though. There are 2 drawers, and a real mirror, which shows some discoloration. On the right side of the mirror, it was either made this way, or the piece was broke off years ago, since it is stained. Vintage IMPERIAL Dresser and Matching Wall Mirror Set. Made by the Imperial Cabinet Co. of Los Angeles. California. Both pieces are signed with the Imperial name and King's Crown mark. The dresser and mirror are both hand painted and patterned in the desirable California Rancho, Spanish Revival, Western style that was so popular in the 1930's and 40's, and remains so today. Not only has their beauty and style lasted the test of time, but the superb craftsmanship and superior quality of the Imperial Cabinet Co. is also evident. This furniture was absolutely built to endure. After 70+ years, there are obviously going to be some imperfections here and there, all of which I believe simply add to their charm. 2 Antique Miniature Salesman Sample Dresser Chest Drawers Vanity Doll Furniture?
Up for auction are 2 Antique Miniature Dresser. With pull out drawers and mirrors. Very solidly made! I am not quite sure as to the exact origin of these piece as if it was manufactured as a piece of doll furniture or if it was to be presented as a salesman sample. I think that they where saleman samplers, because the estate sale I purchased them at there was no kids toys or kids item sold at the sale. The larger dresser measures approximately 9 3/4" tall x 6 3/4" wide x 4 3/8" deep. It is solidly constructed of a fine hardwood( looks like oak wood to me) It features a mirror, but over many years, it lossing most of it refecting material around its edges(see pictures) it features 2 pull out drawers, but the one drawer is missing 2 of it wooden knob drawer pulls( see picture) The smaller dresser measures approximately 7" ... moretall x 6 3/4" wide x 3 1/2" deep. It is also solidly constructed of a fine hardwood( that also looks like oak wood to me) It features asmaller mirror, but over many years, it lost some of it refecting material in the bottom middle area(see pictures) it features 2 pull out drawers and has all of its drawers pulles. Wood Wash Basin Stand With Pink/White Pitcher And Bowl
This is a beautiful vintage pitcher and bowl set on wood stand. It does have a couple of small flaws that I was able to show pretty well in pictures. One of the candles holders looks like it has been glued and one of the towel holder rods has also been glued. I placed tape over the towel rod places to give added strength. The rest of it is in very good vintage condition. Wood polishes up very nice and pitcher/bowl set is beautiful. I found no chipped areas or cracks in the pitcher set. This is a one of a kind. Antique Millinery Table from the Emery, Bird, Thayer& Co. Department store in downtown Kansas City. This store was the prime attraction on Kansas City's main retail thoroughfare from the 1890's to the 1960's, popularly known as"Petticoat Lane. This piece of furniture is truly unique. It is a double-sided vanity-style table with mirrors on both sides, as well as a drawer on each side. This style of table was used for women to sit at as they tried on hats in the department store. The embellishments on the table are very Art Deco, so it probably was used in the early part of the 20th Century. It is in excellent condition, with very minor wear. There is one of the 4 legs' brass wrapped feet that is missing, but other than that, it is in excellent condition. absolutely fabulous old old old dresser with original hanging mirror! original design elements on dresser backsplash/ drawer corners and around knobs on top drawers So Cute! I changed out the original wooden knobs on the top drawers to a vintage blue milk glass ~ love the contrast the dresser had been painted all of these colors you see but I don't think they were consistent layers I sanded back most of the outer layer to expose a deeper butterscotch/ mustard color with hints of peach/ pink/ white and aqua on the mirror spindles as you can see one side is almost a solid mustard. In a glossy enamel paint and the other side(end) is splotchy with a deeper gold the front is mostly a light yellow which could be sanded further to expose more of the mustard/ butterscotch and whatever else lies below ~ I lined the interior drawer bottoms with ... morevintage seersucker fabric in cream with a gold stripe it had wooden wheels on it but I removed them as they were worn out and almost square ~ you could add wheels if you wanted to as the holes are already there mirror has some crackling/grazing/slight fogging ~ still in pretty nice condition ~ gives a true clear image condition: sturdy ~ solid ~ not loose or shaky! in very good antique condition each drawer opening has the old metal guides on each side ~ dresser is missing a total of 2 ~ 1 on the middle drawer and 1 on a top drawer ~ drawers open easily and it doesn't seem to be a big problem ~ they would probably move a little smoother with those 2 guides installed and maybe even some waxing/lubrication on the drawer itself where it slides in and out top of the dresser has some wood/veneer cracking/splitting(minor) on one side ~ I have sanded but not glued anything ~ I like it the way it is but you may want to smooth it a little more ~ top has natural aging and crackling this particular dresser/ bureau is so unique and sweet and charming I don't have words enough! measures 35" high 39" wide 20" deep mirror extends 26 1/2" more in height mirror is 29&

Very Nice Antique Tiger Oak Dresser With Beveled Mirror For sale a beautiful antique oak dresser with beveled mirror and two smaller top drawers and two large drawers below. Solid oak top. Legs, mirror frame and drawer faces. Solid wood drawer interiors. I believe the pattern of the oak is what is called Tiger Oak because of the stripes. The drawers are able to lock with a key– NO Keys included. The mirror and frame detaches from the dresser for hauling if desired. Condition: Dresser In Good + Condition. Looks nice. The mirror has some normal small spotting from age but is all-in-all very nice. The inside of the dresser looks solid. There are some. What looks like, varnish runs on the top of the inside of the dresser and some gluing runs. Not sure of their origin. The dresser side panels appear to be oak plywood as would be normal. All the ... moreedges, front facings, dresser top and mirror are solid oak. The beveled mirror is backed with what looks like masonite. There are some metal pieces in the center that must have something to do with the drawers as a stop? These are all in fine condition but have caused some problems on the bottom of the large drawers. All the drawers are solid. The bottoms of the drawers are'one' solid piece of wood. The large drawer bottoms have warped over time most likely because of being from one solid piece of wood. One has a crack. One drawer is worse than the other but both are warped as seen in the pics. This has caused the metal pieces to wear grooves into the bottom of the large drawers. Whether these can be reshaped or not I don't know(It should be an easy replacement if so desired) They work fine but are grooved. Berkey and Gay Mahogany/ hand-painted 2 piece bedroom chest and dresser w/ mirror. Practically in new condition, over 100 years old and minimal flaws, chest has key and locks perfectly! However drawer is cracking inside, but does not effect use. Mirror is spotting on top. Please see pictures. Pictures do not do justice to this piece, a must have! Here is sum history on this furniture: 1915- 1931: The era between World War I and the Great Depression was Berkey& Gay's zenith of production. Upholstering was spun off to subsidiaries like Wallace Upholstery and Grand Rapids Upholstery. So Berkey& Gay concentrated on living room and bedroom suites. Although designs ran the gamut of freely translated European and American revival styles, most tended toward larger, heavier periods like Elizabethan, William and Mary, and American Empire. ... morePieces were well constructed. A variety of woods was used. Mostly dark mahoganies and walnuts, with occasional accents of lighter woods, painted decoration, or exotic materials like turquoise. These were further darkened by the application of stains wiped around edges and carvings, to give the appearance of age. One interesting novelty was the"Old Ironsides Table. of which only about 100 were produced. Its scalloped apron and block-turned legs and stretchers were adapted from an illustration in a Wallace Nutting book on American antiques.
