Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This light was purchased at an estate sale where most of my other auction listing came from.I was told by the folks selling that this was a ships lamp or light and would have been in a cabin onboard a ship. I cannot find any others to compare it to on ebay and there are no markings on the light other than on the socket inside the lamp and on the side as shown are the letters P&O. I am not sure if this was a gas type light or not. Although it has a socket where a bulb or something would have fit but on the side of the light it looks like a flint or sparker. The light will need the chrome trim cleaned.Sorry I am not much help here, please see the pictures and maybe someone out there can tell me more. The works are mounted on a nice piece of oak and there are exposed wires etc on the back. It appears ... morethe glass is missing however the clip holder to hold the glass guard in is in the metal hood. The metal hood is hinged and has holes to let the heat escape. The light measures 11" long x 5" wide and weighs unpackaged 3-1/2 pounds.At the top of the light is a knob that can be turned to control the brightness i am guessing. Old working lamp in great condition. It is made of heavy hand painted cast iron with a tole leaf over each of the petaled lights. It has an old patina. Some chips in the paint and an old thick round cord. On the back the maker's name is stamped into the iron and says"Allied Metal- Inglewood, Calif. It measures about 13-1/2" high and 14" wide. The base measures about 3" front to back.

Antique Brass Nautical Light Ship Lantern This is a heavy(7-1/2lb. antique brass ship lantern. It is in good condition with the exception of several dents and a bent section of the guard. Please see photos. The internal lamp part is missing but a big 22oz Yankee Candle fits inside perfectly! Candle not included. The fixture is ventilated on top and bottom. It was designed for a flame burning oil lamp originally. The patina is nice. The glass lens is in great shape. The silver colored reflector inside is also in excellent condition. Antique PERKO Brass Adjustable Marine Spot Light Boat Search Light Nautical
This is a really cool old Perko marine spotlight or searchlight. It is solid brass and I think the light holder is a cast red brass. I couldn't find anything on the light that a magnet would stick too. It seems to be structurally in good condition. The brass could use cleaning and polishing as there's a lot of patina to the brass. The thin strip around the top and bottom of the light have some small slits. Maybe for fitting the brass around the body of the light. The light is also adjustable to be able to aim the light. The half label on the back is a Perko label. Heavy and well made. It has a GE bulb and I was told it works. The wiring is frayed and you should definitely have it checked out or rewired if you're planning on using it as a light though. See the pictures for more detail. Vtg 50’s 60’s Nautical 3 Mast Ship Ceramic wall light lamp COOL See-Thru Shade
A neat vintage nautical theme wall light. The ship is made of ceramic. Painted nicely and affixed to the metal armed lamp. It is a wall hanging lamp with matching shade. The lamp measures about 14” tall from top of shade to bottom of lamp. The ceramic ship is in remarkably nice shape with NO chips or cracks which is amazing for its age. I’d estimate this to be circa 50’s or 60’s. The shade is just the coolest thing, it has a matching ship motif and several parts are clear to allow the light to shine through. It gives the neatest effect and looks great. The shade is made of thin painted plastic and in mostly great shape on the front side. The backside has some cracks as shown in the photo. It can be left as is and turn the cracked side towards the wall or a repair with clear tape would take care of it. The shade itself measures 6 ¾” tall, ... more5” across at the top and 8” across at the bottom. I was not able to find any other marking on the light. The overall condition with this light is very good. It has a cord take up reel on the back side with wood handle. The light is adjustable. Swivels left, right, up, down. There is some paint ware. The lens is super condition and not cracked or chipped. These lenses alone run upward of $400.00. It is a big solid heavy piece. The light appears to be functional but was not able to test it. It looks to be 12v. I was also not able to find another one like this so information is limited. Up for auction is this old P ERKO ships lamp. It must be the largest lamp made by Perko. It stands an impressive 2 4" tall. With handle raised. M easures 11 1/2" wide and 9 1/2" deep. This could have been a cargo lamp. Steaming l ight. Anchor light, or a stern light. Not really sure. Somewhere on it's journey it was electrified and has a bulb inside and the burner is not present. Up for auction is a antique bow light. I am unsure what boat this was off of but it was definitely removed from a boat here on long island. It appears to have a brass body and blue/ red glass. It does come with a wooden mount. The only issue with this light is it is chipped in the blue portion of the glass. Other then that it appears to be in nice shape. I am not stating they are from a Navy ship,but look it. They are light battleship grey with light surface rust. The glass has no breaks or chips,but will need a heavy dust/storage clening. The top and bottom are bronze/brass. The bolts&90* flange pipe are iron. The wiring looks good,but is dirty&has paint on them. The sockets are small and take a small bulb. I have no idea what type.
