No major wear, vintage 1920's or older I believe, solid bronze, not angled, rope/chain opening is a little over 1 5/8" at it's narrowest center point(looking from top) All are matching in age and brand. Which is GARCO stamped on all of them. A number stamped to the right of the word Garco is 25986-14 which is written on all of them, both on the left of one bottom side of chocks. Also on the right bottom side of the same side is the#s 2040-266-9148 on all chocks. Either group of#s may be the model or the serial#s. All writing is hard to read, but I can clean up one chock over writing if it's important to confirm#s. The inside width is 4 1/2" at it's widest center point(looking from side) The inside highest height is 2" looking from side. Top tip to bottom tip of each"C" sections) I believe it's ideal for an 1 1/2" rope. Please note I'm not a boat expect at all. Has"patina" Green build up from age/exposure, but will clean/polish up real nice, save big $$$ from buying new even if you could find them for sell like this new anymore! Up for sale is a very old bronze prop. This prop measures 15" across. We acquired this piece about 10 years ago. We were told that this prop belongs to a boat that had been sunk for over 15 years, so it had been in water for that long as there are quite a few places where pitting has started as it retains the patina. Vintage Antique Brass BRONZE PORTHOLE Ship Yacht Boat EARLY WESTMORELAND GLASS??
Older porthole made of bronze. Not brass. It has reverse polarization when a magnet is held close. Weighs 11 lbs. Outside measures approx. 12 1/4" x 8 1/4" Window opening is approx. 9" x 5" It is stamped in the back of the bronze what looks like the Westmoreland Glass mark but I am not sure. see last photo) In my research Westmoreland was a specialty company before they were sold and started making there famous pattern and art glass. This is only my best guess, I could not find any portholes made by Westmoreland in my search efforts. If this is the early Westmoreland Specialty Co. this would have been made from the late 1800's to the 1920's. To me, it looks it. Kind of oval in nature. Anyway, you have to use your own judgement and research. It has some dings to the edge of the bronze and the wings of 1 wing nut ... moreare broke off. Nothing serious. This is a super rare old used bronze or brass sailboat wheel we found at a local swap meet. It has Edson Destroyer Wheel engraved in the bronze. This one was used for steering of a large sailboat. This one measures 20 inches across. The steering shaft is still attached on the back. We did not want to remove it just in case someone wants to reuse it. There are some scrapes. Bumps and bruises to this wheel. Please look at the pics carefully. It is wrapped with a nice leather and there are some black writing on the leather also. Dont know if it means anything. It has a brass donut knob on it also! The metal has a nice patina and is a little worn. It could use a good polishing! You are bidding on a vintage Brass/Bronze Boat propeller-I do not know the history on this propeller nor what the markings mean-in picture 5 you will see a small area on one of the blades that is bent. Here are the various markings. It is marked 24 x 22 and 1 1/2" It then has the letters ZARFMBA and then it is marked VM. On the shaft as seen in picture 4 it is marked 24 LH 22 then it says 4 69 and I believe Grand Rapids Mich-This propeller is as I received I have not tried to clean it in any way-thanks and please ask any questions-Shipping is $65 to California and the West Coast-Free local pick up is available-

This is an old used chrome over pot metal cleat we found in boat salvage yard on the Washington coast. These cleats are used for tying off boats. This one measures about 6.5 inches long and 1+3/8 inch tall. This cleat is beat up and worn but would be great for decorating a nautical room. The open top pair is marked with a"CW" on one side and the number one on the other. They measure 5" long. The other pair is unmarked and measures 5.25" long. This auction is for all 4 locks! Antique Vintage Wilcox Crittenden Bronze Boat Ship Porthole, Hatch Window, Ring

Window or Trim Ring w Glass, Wilcox Crittenden#3 Up for your consideration is this Wilcox Crittenden Bronze Boat or Ship Ring which may be a porthole. Window, or trim ring. I am not familiar with nautical items so I am guessing.I have six of these and they all came with glass which look to be two pieces of glass stuck together, not sure if that is normal practice. Each glass section has discoloration, foggy in the center and what looks like the remains of glue between the two pieces of glass. The bronze ring and glass were sold to me as pairs which makes me think they are some kind of window or viewing section but I cannot be sure. The rings are bronze with the a weathered patina and remains of white paint. Each one has four holes for attaching to the boat or ship, ... morethey have a flat bottom portion and slightly rounded top. Marked on the back"WC" and"3" The WC is for Wilcox Crittenden Co. who were makers of nautical hardware out of CT. I am unsure of the age of these pieces, but they do show age. The bronze ring measures 6 3/4" in diameter at the outer edge and the inner opening has a 5" diameter, each of the holes are 6 1/4" across from the other(center) The glass is 5 3/4" diameter and 1/8" thick. Glass is As Is. They measure just over 1 lb for each. Sold As Is. I will combine shipping!
