Up for auction is an very early and vintage Diving Mask made by the Sea Dive Mask company of Los Angeles. California. This early version mask is somewhat similar to the standard Navy issued mask; and as such, is a part of our diving history. These diving helmet masks have been successfully used for many years by divers working in shallow and uncontaminated waters. They are made of natural. Compression-molded rubber with what appears to be a brass clamping ring that holds the glass lens in place. The result is a rugged piece of equipment of low volume which permits the diver to work in very confined quarters. The head-harness strap can be adjusted to make a comfortable and effective seal against the divers face regardless of facial conformation. Kirby Morgan Commercial Navy Dive Helmet. Top of helmet face has"Kentron 7" inscribed on the mask. The zipper on the back of the helmet works. In the picture of the back of the helmet looks like you can see lines in the neoprene. The outer 1/4 inch of the neoprene has separated in a few areas but is still connected, no tears or rips at all. This helmet was part of my father's large diving gear collection that I am having to sell for family expenses. I have absolutely no indication of whether or not it is functional. Up for auction is a very early and completely unusual Full Face Deep Sea Diving. Four bolt diving helmet by Comex, complete with both four bolt neck rings, rubber neck dam top mounted adjustable exhaust valve 2 nd stage regulator. Mounted led weights and easy open glass and chromed brass face port. This museum piece is missing a few insignificant parts that are easily and often found right here on eBay; such as. The adjustable retainer that holds the hood to the mask, the oral nasal cup, and ear phones. The microphone is present, and still connected to the inside of the mask and is included. This early version helmet hood and mask combination is somewhat similar in many ways to the standard U.S. Navy issued diving hoods; and as such. Is a part of diving history. These diving helmet mask hoods have been successfully used for many years by ... moredivers working in shallow and uncontaminated waters. They are made of heavy duty rubber impregnated canvas and lined with waterproof rubber. With what appears to be stainless steel four bolt neck ring frame that holds the hood to the lower neck ring and diving suit. The result is a rugged piece of equipment of low volume which permits the diver to work in very confined quarters. The hood is held to the Comex demand mask with an adjustable metal band that compresses the hood and mask together. When so adjusted. It holds the mask firmly in place so as to minimize any risk of accidental dislodgement. This outfit is not equipped with quick-release buckles, however, the mask and hood can be quickly remover with the use of the four tightening bolts found on the lower neck ring. Presented is a rare antique porcelain dial from this pre-Civil War manufacturer of Diving Helmet equipment and signed SIEBE GORMAN& Co. Ltd. London. Dial is believed to have survived dive bell or submarine service with the Royal Navy stationed in a large marine pressure gauge. Dial face calibrated with two concentric outer scales marked respectively: Hourly Rate By One Minutes Observation Actual Consumption. LITRES. Three small dials are stationed on lower half of face and inscribed: 1500 METRES, 1500 LITRES, 150 LITRES. Although we have never seen another example. It is believed this dial may be from a 19thC or early 20thC diving bell due to the type of data calibrations and its large size of 8-3/4" Diameter X 3/16" Thick. Estate sale find. This knife belonged to US NAVY Salvage Diver. His widow said he served at the Naval School of Salvage Diving. Washington Navy Yard. We have the divers name but have been asked not to share his Information. This knife is in excellent condition. The handle has no chips or cracks showing only minor scuffing f rom use. This knife has no markings. I did some online research and found out that the knife's used by the navy prior to WWII had no markings. It is a text book example of a 1930's dive knife. There were many makers of these Greek helmets and with the helmet in the condition it is in difficult to identify exactly. These helmets were made in backyards etc all around the Greek Islands. vintage US Navy Mark V dive helmet face plate underwater find
This is a vintage US Navy Mark V dive helmet face plate. It was an underwater find recovered from Boston Harbor. There are no markings on it. But I assume, based on the location, that it is a Morse. This heavy brass faceplate measures 5 3/4 inches in diameter and 7 3/8 inches wide measured across the hinge. The grill and glass are intact. The hinge pin is present. The small cut outs in the rear of the faceplate are perfect, allowing a wrench to unscrew the rear flange that holds the glass in the faceplate. I have not attempted to unscrew this flange. There are a few barnacles and some light encrustation that I have left on the piece to let the collector make the judgment on whether to clean it up or leave it with the patina. This is a stellar, heavy duty piece! Please ask any questions before bidding.

Up for Auction is a Mark V. US Navy diving helmet, of what i can find on line this is an original reproduction of a functional diving helmet made by Morse diving equipment company Boston. Date on the plate states 8/29/41. no serial number and no serial numbers on the helmet. This is not a reproduction made recently in India nor is it new. As far as i can determine this replica was made as an display model for the manufacturesers of the real helmet but was for sale as a much lower price. It was weighs 39 lbs by itself and the dimendions are high 19.5" wide 14" dept 15" on the shoulder plate Im not an expert so look at the pictures and ask questions. Kirby Morgan super light 17B dive helmet
Great condition recently rebuilt last year Kirby Morgan Super LIght 17B Serial# 6210 Very minor scratches from regular use. 2013 all Soft parts. New communication set, new bag, brass refinished, re-sealed weights, polished lexan face plate, and new hardware were replaced. 2012 this hat was re- gel coated in 2 part epoxy gel coat pearl white to restore it to new condition. There was no problems with the hat structurally just very well scratched from 15 years of use. It was originally light blue but most of the old color was sanded when refinished. It also has 8 new stainless face port inserts that were replaced with the appropriate fiberglass method the old ones failed the pull test. This hat is a great working hat with 10-15 dives a month in the San Fransisco bay area. It is very dry and I have moved on to a SL37 as of 11/12/2013 I went to ... moreDIT in 1999 and this hat has served me well but I dont need 3 hats so this one must go. The neoprene neck seal has a few aqua seal patches on it. And the snoopy is old but cleaned and in good shape. NO RESERVE.

Vintage WW2-1960's MARK-5 US NAVY Diver Diving Drysuit GLOVES Scuba Helmet Dive
Vintage WWII-1960's(definitely Pre-1980) MK-5 US NAVY deep sea diver, drysuit gloves. Measure approximately 16"L X 6 1/2"W at opening. Standard three fingers. Off white, heavy canvas and cotton fabric, showing no wear, only TINY bit surface dirt. Inside lining is thick black rubber. One glove is stamped, in a silver color, 2" Rubber is in good clean, flexible condition. Overall, very good clean condition, having no odor. Out of a smoke-free home. 7 photos. Superlite 17B Kirby Morgan Dive Helmet Neck Dam Complete Assembly BRASS
This Auction is for the brass neck dam assembly. I dove it with my 17b and it helps keep the hat from riding up and making you jaw sore. I got it after hours in the water and a sore neck from shrugging my shoulders and having to keep pushing the hat down. i cleaned it up as best i could the screws need to be double checked. The neoprene has a whole. But can be dove I used it plenty of times that way. I don't know who originally made this Kirby Morgan or divers Supply? IO know a complete assembly goes for 1500-1900 hundred dollars so I am just going to put a number out there.
