Old Witch's Hat Chunk Glass Table Lamp Vintage Night Light Made in Tehran?
In great working condition. Has been rewired and one corner at the bottom has been damaged(photo#7) There is some flaking due to it's age and the top is slightly tilted and has what looks to be an old paint crack. It also has what might be a crack on a red stone at the back side of lamp(photo#8) I'm not sure it is a crack. It might just be the way the glass was formed. It's really hard to tell. To change the bulb, undo the 2 screws on the bottom and it comes apart. Make sure you put the screws in the same spot or it will push the damaged corner out. For all you lamp lovers out there, even with it's flaws, it really is a cool and gorgeous lamp and sure to please for years to come. 16"H X 6"W. Tracking and insurance included. Here we have a small Victorian table oil lamp made by WAS Benson. The lamp is stamped to the underside of the fount with a Registered Design Nº. On page 285 of the Hamerton book you will see the RD Nºs 123690 through to 123696 were registered in April 1889 as a series of copper vessels, this lamp's number being the first of this series of issued numbers, being stamped 123690, it is stamped in the typically shaped Benson lozenge outline. I DO NOT SELL IN FLORIDA. This antique Gone With the Wind lamp is in very nice condition other than the cord. Which I believe is original to the lamp and should be replaced, although I am leaving the replacement up to the buyer. It is 18" tall and has lovely red/pinkish roses. The bulb inside is a newer type that is on the market today, and I think a regular light bulb would give it a nicer light. The lighted picture does not show the pretty pink that it is when the light is on. The base is metal filigree with a floral and scroll design. There is no signature showing the maker, although the burner has the"Banner" name on it. A gorgeous lamp and one that will bring out the beauty of its' surroundings. c. mid 1880s"Sweetheart" SANDWICH GLASS Oil Lamp/ Electric Lamp Sandwich Glass. Sweetheart" pattern. Mid 1880s. Original oil lamp, with lamp hardware. We believe it could go back to oil! Please click the photos to enlarge for details. Glass is still intact. Meaning no hole has been drilled into it to accomodate an electrical cord. Instead, someone quite cleverly converted it to an electrical lamp with the top fixture only: the cord comes out the side at the top(see photo) I would imagine the conversion could be reversed, but no one here has tried to unscrew the socket part. Cord is very old. So the original conversion was ages ago. The cord is fragmenting with handling, so take care and have a lamp specialist restore this to working order. Hardware is secure at present. Height to top of glass is approx. 7 3/4" Width of ... morebase is 3.5" Some small bubbling inside glass as a result of manufacture. No breaks to the glass. Except for the interior edge(only seen if you pick it up and look) where there are 2 shallow chips on one inside edge and one tiny shallow chip on the opposite inside edge. Price reflects this. These flat founts were typically made in this exact pattern by Taylor Tunnicliffe. Although this one is not marked underneath. This one has the usual creamy coloured'body' though the decoration is much darker than they usually are. They were made to fit into a four footed'pot' see last picture) that is often mistaken for a pot-pourri when found without its lamp fount. The fount is NOT supposed to match the base in pattern. They are always different. This one has had a chip repaired to the very edge. Hardly shows but can be felt. 5&1/2 inches diameter overall. And 3 inches overall height. fits into an aperture(in the base pot) of 5 inches diameter. There are NO cracks ... moreand no chips other than the one mentioned. Very large ornate majolica pottery oil lamp. I was told the lamp came out of a California home built in the 1830s. It has a kosmos burner oil lamp with six candle holders around it. Cherub and bird design. Glass white shade. In over all great condition, has small chip on oil lamp. Needs to be cleaned up, I liked the patina. Also has a 20 lb counter weight, smoke bell, and ceiling mount. The weight has had repairs. 30in diameter, hangs 54in from top to bottom. In working condition.

vintage ECanada art pottery lamps (Wedgewood style)
Up for sale are a pair of vintage ECanada art pottery lamps in the style of Wedgewood. They were made between 1926 and 1952 by the ECanada Art Pottery Company in Ontario by George Emery Sr. who had a 14 year apprenticeship with Wedgewood. Which shows in the detail of the lamps. The lamps are of slightly different shades of blue. They are in great condition with no chips or scratches. They are stamped with the ECanada mark and 1926. The cloth lamp shades are in good condition with no tears or holes. But one does have two stains on it which I have not tried to remove. The wiring has been upgraded except for the inside of the lamps. One socket appears to be original, and the other his newer. See the photos. The lamps will be sent USPS. Of cylindrical form, the papier-mache document or scroll boxes with caps on both sides mounted with bronze tube sections, presumably for threading a hanging strap. The surface of one case decorated in relief with four calligraphy medallions to the front, the reverse with floral medallions all on geometric diaper pattern ground; the surface of the second decorated with all-over geometric diaper pattern. Each custom lamp with curved brass post running up the back, the case attached at the base by curved brass posts which wrap through the bronze tubes, the circular lamp bases raised on four ball feet. This can be taken apart and made into a vase. Picture 3 is the bottom half lit up. I believe a lot of this to be brass plated and it needs an over haul on it. The upper portion as seen in picture 4 has holes to hang tear drop prisms or tassels. you can purchase these on line) No lamp shade.
