Here is a wonderful Edgar Brandt Ginkgo leaf wrought iron and alabaster table lamp. The lamp shows his wonderful artistic ability in forging iron. Please see photos of the iron detail. It has a wonderful vintage plug and bakelite toggle on off switch. It has been rewired in dark brown cloth cord to keep with the period. I have owned this lamp for over 15 years and starting to down size my collection. The lamp stands an impressive 16.5 inches ~ by 6 3/4 ~ wide at the shade. Cast iron or guilded metal and marble, alabaster or slag glass table lamp with mid century modern drum shade in good to very good working condition. The brass, gold tone or guilded finish is worn off in some areas and there is a small chip or knick in the marble base shown in the pictures. Also along the upper side of the urn body I noticed a difference in coloration while taking the pictures, it does not look like a crack but I am just not sure. Both the lamp and shade have a very subtle light green tint. This heavy marble lamp is approximately 20" tall from the base to the top of the finial and 10.5" from the 4.5" square base to the top of the urn. Great vintage lamp with alabaster base and metal foot. Cord is frayed beyond repair and will need to be replaced. Also. One of the chain pulls is missing. Overall height is 23 inches. The shade is 17 inches wide and 9 1/2 tall. The shade is not in great shape and you may not even want it sent. It is torn on the inside and there are some large stains on the inside and outside. One side of the stone base has a dark vein running through it which looks good, to me, but if you wanted a cleaner look, the other side could be facing out and it is uniform in color. Antique 1920's White ALABASTER & MARBLE Carved SWAN EGRET HERON Bird Table Lamp
Up for your consideration is this absolutely exquisite antique carved white Alabaster and Marble table lamp from the 1920's. This lamp depicts a long necked bird with it's wings spread- I believe the bird is either a swan. Egret or heron. Absolutely stunning detail and the white color really stands out. The lamp has two lights with individual pull switches so that you can adjust the amount of light. Measures 27.5 inches tall from the base to the finial and 9.5 inches wide without a shade(no shade included) This lamp is quite heavy because the alabaster and marble portion alone measures approx. 12.5 inches. In excellent condition. One small chip on the wing of one bird(enlarge pic#9, wing of bird on right near legs) There is a painted portion of the lamp above the alabaster that has chipped cream paint as well. I fell in love with this lamp when I found it at a Buffalo. NY antique shop over 12 years ago, the owner of the shop claimed it was a 1920's lamp when I purchased it. I believe this lamp is one-of-a-kind and/or repurposed, see extra hole on base of lamp. It is difficult to date this lamp to the exact year, however, the"Arrow" company name is on the light sockets. Arrow was in business from 1904-1927. Arrow applied for patents on pull-style light sockets in 1909-1911 and 1915(see antiquesockets.com) Therefore, I believe this lamp dates circa 1920's(could be earlier) Square base is white marble. Carved portion is white alabaster. Finial has a hole that goes all the way through the top. Up for your consideration is a stunning ornate vintage alabaster swirl marble table lamp. The lamp has a beautiful pinkish/cream back ground color with gold/black swirls. It has wonderful brass handles with a gold metal ornate design. The lamp has a lovely square shape shade is labeled custom made in Shields Studio. Detroit. The shade has staining and some wear requires cleaning. The table lamp is a double bub with the switch in the cord. It works great and is very heavy in weight. The vintage table lamp measures 27" tall. In picture 5 you can see a small nip in the marble at the edge of the gold metal plating. I believe it was a flaw in the marble at the time of manufacturing not sure. I is an amazing.

Beautiful Hollywood Regency Italian Deeply Carved Alabaster Marble Urn Shape Table Lamp with beautiful Open Work Metal Trim. The bottom metal work between the foot and pedestal looks like twigs and the urn base has a leaf design. The top of the urn shape is deeply carved and the wide band has a row of what looks like flowers. Below that are vertical lines running down to the metal that holds the urn shape. The next area of marble is square and the bottom base is square. The lamp has the original finial. The lamp measure 32" to the top of the finial and 20" to the top of the socket. The lamp is quite heavy weighing almost 11 lbs. so it will be heavy to ship. The lamp works well and the wiring looks very good. I had two of these which I sold and one was damaged in transit. Antique Alabaster Marble Hand Carved Neoclassical Urn Table Lamp 26" Ivory Gray
Antique Urn Style Lamp Beautiful hand carved alabaster marble lamp with gorgeous ivory. White, tan and gray coloring Lamp is in very good condition there are a few flaws- some chipping around center band piece and two chips on the top edge of the carved design. Bottom did have felt attached but was removed to repair with the new wiring and top electrical parts. There is still some of the felt res idue on bottom. I was told the l amp was from around the late 1890's or early 1900's. I purchased the lamps many years ago from a women in her 60's and the lamps belonged to her grandparents. Measurements of the lamp it self is 14 3/4" tall. With l ight bulb socket and lamp shade bracket it is 26" tall. Bottom base is 4 3/4" square. I have another matching lamp that I have not listed. It has more chips and is in worse condition ... morethen this one but they do make a great pair. Please let me know if you would be interest ed in it as well. It has carved flowers/ roses and in the shape of an urn. It's in very nice condition but could use a better cleaning. I don't know much about them and didn't want to hurt the marble so just wiped it off. Purchased from a very nice estate sale and passing it on to you.
