Here is an antique Emeralite hanging light.With cone shaped shade that could also be used on a b ankers or desk lamp. Glass is perfect. No crack, chips or fleabites. Fire-polished bottom rim. Smooth as a drinking glass rim. Some of the silver paint that once stated Emeralite is still there but mainly worn off. Beautiful brass hanging frame. This will be shipped wired. The Shade, the bottom edge is not polished, as made, there are eensy flea bites along the front edge, felt more than seen. The only chips on the shade are on the fitter area and are covered when the shade is in place. The Base, 99% of the original finish is intact. No rust. The socket and cord are not original, thee cord is about twenty years old. I have replaced the socket. The white plastic cord does nothing for this lamp, a brown rayon wrap cord would be appropriate. A very nice lot of three antique. Circa 1920's, green over white glass desk lamp shades. The largest is marked: Emeralite. It measures 3-5/8" tall by 10-1/2" wide by 5-1/4" deep. Tiny shallow chip to white on inner edge- not visible on exterior. The next largest is marked: Made in Germany. It measures 3" tall by 8-3/4" wide by 4-1/2" deep. The holes on each end are 1/2" diameter. Teeny shallow- hardly visible- chip to back center edge. The smaller shade has a fine acid etched desgn. It is marked: Emer-lite, Czechoslovakia. It measures 2-1/2" tall by 7-7/8" wide by 3-1/4" deep. Miniscule back edge chip- hardly visible. The three shades are for one price.

Antique Emeralite Lamp #8734 X Miller, Bradley & Hubbard, Pittsburgh, Handel
This is a wonderful Emeralite 8734 X Lamp by H.G. McFaddin Co of New York. It stands 14 1/2 inches tall on about a 7 inch round moulded base. The finish is a beautiful deep patinated Brass/Bronze finish and just looks great. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. This is a little different than most of the Emeralite lamps. Rather than the wing nut adjustment apparatus for tilting the lamp shade. This lamp has the knob with a screw head in it and is spring loaded to keep the shade in place. To adjust it you can do a short partial turn with a screw driver and then adjust the shade where you want it and back the screw the short turn and then the shade will not move. First spring loaded one I have ran across. Very tight and interesting mechanism. Here is an old Dual Duckbill style shade Partners lamp. Comes complete with all 4 glass inkwells, 2 with black bakelite lids and 2 with red bakeliite lids, no chips nor damage at all, to the shades and none to the inkwells. The shades are a green/bluish in color, not like the new"washed out green" shades made today, BUT I do not know if these shades are original or not. The base has a holder on each side that will hold ink pens(no pens included) This stands 15" high and is about 16" wide. Rare Emeralite Black Flamingo High End Work Lamp Bankers Architect Engineer
From an estate dispersal and at ebay for your consideration is this nice old rare Black Flamingo Emeralite work lamp. It is a very rare form and it does have character marks. A large 1-2 inch chip in the black case glass shade that has a nice soft carmel glow when lighted, there is a small dent on the skirt and it will need a new cord. This lamp base is slightly larger and has a longer neck than most Bankers lamps. The lamp measures 21 inches high to the top of the shade and it extends about 15 inches out from the center post. Antique Emeralite No. 8734 Banker Lamp with Original Shade
Offered is an Emeralite No. 8734B Banker's Lamp with original glass shade. Condtion overall is excellent- note a few scratches on base. Glass shade is in excellent condition. However, there is a very small chip on the inner edge of the shade as shown in the last photograph. It does not show when the shade is in place on the lamp. Here is a very scarce banker's desk lamp frame with AMRONLITE id plate and one pull chain socket in as found condition. This is very similar to Emeralite style lamps. This is constructed of a heavy iron base with a brass shell. Will need rewiring and new shade as well as a polish and lacquer. But otherwise looks complete. These are getting very difficult to find. Antique Bradley & Hubbard Slag Glass lamp Miller Pittsburgh Handel Emeralite
This is a beautiful Bradley& Hubbard Slag Glass Lamp in great condition. The lamp stands 22 1/2 inches tall with a 7 1/2 inch base. The shade is 17 or 18 inches in diameter. Depending on where you measure it, and is 8 1/2 inches tall. The shade is marked in two places"Bradley& Hubbard Mfg. Co. and the only markings on the base are inside the novel area that holds the lamp sockets. It is marked"Pat. Dec. 7, 1920" I find no other markings on the base. The sculpted base and shade have well defined laurel leaves, flowers and ribbon garlands. The finish is a beautiful variegated antique gold and is about all there. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfect. The shade is complete with no cracks. There are a couple small missing pieces of filigree on the bottom of the shade that do not detract from the lamp. See ... morethe 2 pictures of the B& H markings on the shade. This is an all original Emeralite Desk Lamp# 7 by H. G. McFADDIN& CO. 40 Warren St, New York Four Periods Of Production Of The Emeralites. Bellova& Emeralite lamps were the creation of Harrison G.McFaddin. It was in 1909 that the first Emeralite lamp. As we know it today, was produced. On May 11, 1909 McFaddin's patent application for a new, original and ornamental design for lamp shades, were approved. Thus began the manufacture of Emeralite and Bellova lamp's that were to continue for fifty years. The production of Emeralite desk lamps over the years can readily be divided into four distinct period's. The first period began in 1909 and lasted until 1916 and is known as the 4378 series. The second period of production. Known as the 8734 serie's, began in 1916 and lasted until the 1930's. This is a Beautiful Bradley& Hubbard Brass Converted Oil Lamp with a wonderful Green Emeralite Shade. The lamp is 19 inches tall to the top of the 9 inch chimney poking through the top of the Emeralite Shade. It sits on a 6 1/2 inch diameter sculpted and pierced base. The Emeralite shade is 10 inches in diameter and 6 inches tall and sits on 3 arms extending from the lamp body. The lamp has a beautiful patinated brass finish to go with the brilliant Green emeralite shade. This very pleasing lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. This is most likely a unique piece. This lamp is a marriage of a cast iron gooseneck base and neck and what appears to be an Emeralite fixture and unmarked Emeralite shade on the end. The fixture has an"E" on the on/ off knob and is an Eagle fixture that has"UNO" and Pat Dec 24. 12 on it. The shade is very high quality and has ground edges and is quite heavy and has a great glow when the lamp is on. This lamp appears to have been done by someone who was very good at what they do as everything is tight and solid. Here's an Antique 1920s Emeralite Bankers Lamp Base with Bonus Shade offered at NO RESERVE! The lamp is signed twice. Once on the back of the shade and once inside the shade. The shade has a large chip out of the front rim(picture 6) but someone applied a decorative rubber grommet around the rim which actually looks halfway decent and does fully cover the chip. The base needs polishing but is otherwise in good order. The cord has been cut so it will require a complete re-wiring; the socket looks like the original. Old Emeralite desk lamp that we found in a local estate clean out. There is a tag on the shade support that reads Emeralite Desk Lamp H.P. Mcfadden& Co New york USA. No 8734 with a patent date of Aug.16 1916. The knuckle has a date of 10/17 stamped on it. The lamp does work. The pull chain switch works correctly. Not sure if the back socket cover is missing or not, see photos. The wiring looks new however I would still double check it for safety. The base has an embossed"B" on it as shown. Antique Emeralite Banker's Desk Lamp Emerald Shade CRACKED 8734
This is an original Emeralite Desk Lamp. Sadly the shade is cracked. But hanging in there with this electrical tape. I have not touched it or tried to remove the tape. Aug. 15, 1916, this marvelous desk or piano lamp has an original emerald green glass shade remarkable condition with only a few tiny flakes at the edges, see photos. To reflect light down onto paperwork. The interior of the blown shade was cased with a layer of opaline white glass, the bottom edge was then ground and polished. This is a really neat rare lamp along the Emeralite style of desk lamp. This lamp is double signed"Amronlite Pat'd 1917. Made in USA" and"Pat'd May 8, 1917, Amronlite, Made in USA" one on the shade bracket and one on the lamp bracket where the shade sits. The lamp stands 16 1/2 inches tall on its 7 1/2 X 7 1/2 wide square base. The shade is 9 1/2 X 4 1/2 X 3 1/2 tall and is in beautiful condition, no chips or cracks. The beautiful patinated bronze finish is in excellent condition and the square part of the lamp base is for nicknacks or a pad of note paper. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. This is a very early 1890's Glass Oil Lamp that was recently found in an estate in Pa. The lamp has features of the early Emeralite type'deep green' kind of ornate glass. The lamp measures 16" tall and has a ring that would hold a 10" shade. Antique Emeralite brass partner desk lamp 8734 series made between 1916-1930
Perfect Condition with separate pulls for each side. The numbers on base indicate that this is a 8734 Series partner lamp made between 1916-1930. The Emeralite shades from this generation did not have holes on each side. Instead a new base armature was designed and the shade was created with indentations which fitted into the channels on the new base arm. The shade was clamped in to this armature for stability and so could be removed for cleaning if necessary. The base is made from solid brass.

We are listing for your consideration a lovely Antique early 20th Century Emeralite Banker's or Student Desk Table Lamp with Original Shade. This lamp is in Excellent Original Working Condition with a slight break to the metal ring that holds the bulb socket. It has been repaired. There is still a gap,the socket holds secure and you cannot see it when the lamp shade is on. There is slight surface wear to gilding on the base, no issues at all with the cased glass shade, it is perfect. We guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the excellent condition. The lamp measures 14 1/4" tall x 8 1/2" at the diameter of the base. H. G. McFaddin Bellova Czech Glass Shade #2206 Emeralite Table Lamp, c.1930 rare
ESTATE: According to"The Lamps of H.G. McFaddin& Co. website this 15" tall x approximately 9" in diameter. Two-tone blue Czech glass, Bellova Emeralite lamp fits in their"Other" section for lamps.but I think it's a table lamp. I wish it turned on because I bet the cobalt blue shade top and aqua blue shade bottom are really a great combination.but it doesn't which is why the fully marked lamp and shade(please see photos) is being sold"as is" It's probably the plug because the switch snaps nicely when it turns, but I'm not going to replace it to find out. Please review the photos carefully for other condition questions. The shade is in excellent condition with no chips or marks but a bit dirty. The base is solid and heavy but needs cleaning and, perhaps, refinishing.
