ANTIQUE Colonial Premier # 252 Brass Cast Iron Alabaster Bridge Arm Lamp
Up for bid is an antique turn of the century Brass and Cast Iron and Alabaster Bridge Arm Floor Lamp by Colonial Premier. It has the early number of 252 in the designs produced. The Lamp is not wired but has the tubed arm for the socket and Glass Shade and the Cord to extend out the other side. There is no opening in the Brass Pole or Alabaster for a Cord. The design is hammered Brass and Victorian Floral Brass with an Arrow Peak that is in excellent condition as is the top parts of the Pole. The last Pole portion and Base are Cast Iron with Brass overlay and does show some surface oxidation and patina that will clean up with a good polishing. The Alabaster Base is in good condition with just a few minor nicks. Not sure how you clean this surface. But it looks nice how it is. It has one small flaw on top in the casting. The Lamp stands about ... more5-1/2 feet to its peak and weighs about 20 lbs. The underside has its original label for Colonial Premier, Chicago, ILL and showing this as a Florette Lampette Wallette and is incised with the Colonial Premier Name and# 252. Very unusual French art deco modernist alabaster lamp of a maiden worshipping the light emitting from the globe. Circa 1930-40. The lamp is in full working order. The globe and figure are carved from alabaster. The quality of craftmanship particularly on the globe is exceptional with the egg shaped globe having being carved out of one piece of alabaster. Consequently it is very heavy. The light shining through the alabaster creates a warm and interesting glow. Although it is made in the style of the German Art Nouveau period, spot-welding wasn't done around 1910. Materials: The frame is made out of wrought iron elements. The entire wall lamp is made with a great love to the detail, especially the roses and leaves. The single wrought iron elements were also hand-painted. Great craftmanship! The half-round shade is made out of unusual thick-walled alabaster stone. Measurements: The entire wall light is very big. Presented for you consideration is this superb Victorian art glass oil lamp shade. I believe this hobnail pattern is"Knob Optic" made by the Phoenix Glass Company. Hobbs. Brockunier& Company made a very similar shade in their"Dew Drop" line but I think the color is more indicative of Phoenix(any help appreciated) The color is spectacular-apricot dieaway to crystal opalescent(not as pink as the photo) It has a Burmese appearance but does not glow under a black light. The shade measures 5 1/2" high, 8 1/2" across at the ruffled edge and 4" at the fitter end. The inside fitter measures 3 1/2" The shade is in excellent estate condition with no damage or restoration noted. Antique "Lectrolier Limited" Bronze over Copper Lamp, late 1800- early 1900 LOOK
This lamp is ancient. I had looked it up several years ago and remember it being one of the first electric lamps made. But unable to find anything about it now. It is unoperatable and needs complete refurbishing. There are some stress/ age cracks as seen in pictures. This lamp probably had a globe glass shade at one time. It is bronze over copper if I remember correctly from previously looking it up. The images I feel are of the great tragedy of the theater. Great theme. Anyway. Vintage Antique Victorian Hanging Oil Kerosene Parlor Library Lamp w/ Prisms
This is a fantastic. Large, complete antique hanging library lamp with 14" floral hand painted milk glass shade, clear glass chimney, and the complete frame with smoke bell and all 63 prisms. It has been electrified and the cord runs up through the ceiling canopy where two wire nuts attach it to a longer cord(it looks like it was probably hard-wired into a home electrical system, and a lamp cord was added later. It works, but should be inspected by an electrician before use. The frame is excellent and unique because it has jointed decorative metal tubing instead of chains holding the lamp. With large metal rings on the bottom that hook onto the ornate floral cast iron frame. The metal font that once held oil or kerosene is cracked on one side(shown in the photos) but the cracks are not highly visible behind the prisms and can be turned ... moreto face the wall. The shade is excellent with no cracks or chips and has a smooth rounded edge on both top and bottom. It is hand numbered(93) on the inside, but I don't see a signature. The shade features hand painted floral patterns all the way around, and there are a few spots where the paint is rubbed off, shown close-up in the photos. The shade currently doesn't sit down in the frame all the way around, probably because the frame is slightly bent and could some adjusting, and I didn't want to force it down all the way around. The shade sits mostly on the frame as it is shown in the photos, but it seems like it should fit. The lamp measures 3 feet(36 inches) from ceiling canopy down to the bottom. It will be partially disassembled. The prisms will be removed and wrapped separately, and all items will be packed well, double boxed, and insured during shipping.

Antique Bent Slag Glass Lamp with Church Scene. Original base and shade, usually attributed to Miller• Roughly 100 yrs. old• Both sockets work fine. Lamp has been used daily for the 40+ years since it was left to my mother( I believe my great aunt was the original owner. Which is why it's in such nice shape. Vintage Art Deco 3 Maiden Gold Globe Figural Table or Desk Lamp w/ marble base? Approximate size: 12" tall x 7-1/2" wide Nice vintage condition. This is from my personal collection that I'm downsizing. It is in good working condition. I'm unsure if the cord is original but it feels a little sticky for some reason. Maybe it could be cleaned with rubbing alcohol? The on/off switch works but it is a little loose and it will turn backwards also. Not sure what kind of metal the lamp is made of but it weighs approximately 5-1/2 pounds. The base is dark green marble. The globe has a small chip along the bottom inner rim which isn't noticeable unless you remove it from the lamp. The rim is rough feeling all around. Not smooth. The globe has a hairline crack near the top that is shown in the last photo. I'm not sure if this ... moreis a crack in the globe or just the way it was made since it does have all kinds of cracks and indentions in it. Just thought I would mention it.
