Antique Bradley Hubbard Brass Bronze Ornate Converted Oil Table Lamp Electric
Up for auction is a very pretty ornate Bradley Hubbard Brass/ Bronze Oil Lamp base that has been converted to electric. I am able to light it up but there is a short in the light and the electrical wiring looks like it needs to be rewired. The lamp is hallmarked B&H on the oil cap and on the bottom. It has two dates one from 1892 and one from 1895 on the top where the wick would normally be(see photographs) The lamp itself is in very good condition with only one small ding on the wall of the lamp(see photograph) Hardly noticeable unless you hold it in a certain light. The lamp was converted some time ago as the cord and plug are vintage with some wear but still works. The lamp could easily be converted back to an oil lamp if desired. The lamp is stunning milk glass, embossed design with gold accents and a brass and cast iron base. There is also a brass section in the center of the lamp.
