I have up for sale a wonderful vintage circa 1910-1920s signed H A BEST LAMP CO Chicago. Ill USA lamp base- originally meant for a slag glass lamp. The ring diameter for the ring fitter would be approx 2-3/4" diameter. The lamp is very ornate and has the original antique gold finish. It stands approx 22" no including the finial which may or may not be the original but looks good together. It is in Very Good to Excellent Condition- No damages but a few minor manufacturing mold imperfections- a few small inclusions- basically what you see in pic#2- maybe a couple more but nothing thats any real big deal. No chips. No cracks, No repairs, its as it was from the factory. I am unsure if the sockets are original or not- The top caps have a bright yellowish tint but the bottoms look correct- I am not sure just pointing out what I see. ANTIQUE SLAG GLASS OR REVERSE PAINTED BRONZE TABLE LAMP BASE WITH DOUBLE SOCKET
No manufacturing marks found. Two tone bronze patinas. Base is yellow bronze casting the upper classical urn body is a dark liver patina. I took the base apart looking for identifying larks and showed interior in photos. Light sockets work with original wiring and toggles. this is a slag lamp base from the 1920's sturdy enough to hold a very large slag glass canapy. Only one defect is minor dent in the shadows of side that I backlighted to exaggerate for you to see better. It is not noticable. Found in North Crown Heights. Brooklyn Historic district.

Antique Table Cupid Lamp. Slag Green Glass Gold Painted Lead Shade
Offering this amazing antique twin cupid lamp. Remarkably good condition. Approx 100 years old. Molded metal. Definitely not iron. Likely bronze. Eight panels of green slag glass. Gorgeous light in a dark room. Baskets. Butterflies and bound sticks decorate the shade. Shade is actually molded lead with gold paint. Some flecks of gold paint have fallen off over the years. This is a rare and beautiful antique American table lamp from the famous firm of Bradley& Hubbard(Meriden. Connecticut 1852-1940) The glass shade has the shape of a modified pine cone and an unusual reverse painted design depicting a blue lattice basket surrounded by gold and green leaves. The body and pedestal are made of hollow bronze. The hand painted design done on each of the 4 panels matches the colors of the lamp. Each of the four panels of the shade is identified by the engraved company name. Bradley& Hubbard Manufacturing Co. The shade measures approximately 17” in diameter and about 9” tall. The shade glass has a vertically ribbed texture on the outside and has an overall frosted look to the inside of the shade. The lamp base is a bronze-bronze color with a crackled texture and is shaped like a slender urn. It measures approximately ... more22 ½” high and the bottom base has a diameter of 7 ½” This lamp has three light sockets and is in perfect working condition. The lamp has been rewired and at least one socket and one pull is not original. The shade will probably need some cleaning and as I show in one of the pictures. Vintage Brass Lamp base for slag glass or reverse painted shade . Deco lamp
Here is a vintage brass lamp base for a slag glass or reverse painted shade in good working condition. All solid brass. There are some areas of darkening as you can see and a small crack in the cluster body that is shown in photo no.8. Other than that there appear to be no cracks or damage. It is 22 1/2" tall and the base is 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" with 9 1/8" being the widest measurement across the bottom. The weight is a little over 5 pounds. Sockets are marked Monowatt. They both have porcelain and brass interiors, work well and are wired to a vintage style plug with modern cord. Securely packaged and shipped insured for the winning bid amount within the USA only. Antique Obverse Painted Slag Glass Lamp Cast Iron Base
A lovely antique slag glass lamp with signed gilt cast iron base and original matching finial. The six sided shade has ornate filigree over the glass. The lamp retains original red and green paint on the glass within the filigree work. The lamp is in good condition. The cord is falling apart. So the lamp must be rewired. There is wear and tarnish throughout the metal finish commensurate with age. I can't make out the first part of the mark on the underside that finishes with"NEW YORK. Surface rust on the underside of the base. The lamp measures 22 inches tall and the shade is 15 inches diameter. The base measures just over 6" diameter. Beautiful Antique Large Eight Panel Slag Glass Leaded Lamp Hand Painted !!
Beautiful antique large eight panel slag glass lamp. Circa 1900-1910. Elegant and stately urn shaped metal base has nice belle flower detailing with scroll feet. Has a gold wash over a silver finish. Nice original patina. Caramel slag glass panels are nicely handpainted with urns and floral sprays and leaf motif designs with art nouveau lines. No breaks or chips on any of the panels or metal frame. Lamp measures 25.5” tall. The shade itself measures 21” wide and 9.5“ high and the base is 9” in diameter. I was told lamp is signed Miller under metal base plate but I have never taken apart to see. The three bulb lamp has been rewired. Has original sockets and replaced saturn pull chains. The lamp has three panels that look to have been repainted with leaf design. The panels may have been replaced but are a perfect match. Moe Bridges Lamp Base (Original paint) art Nouveau Deco era slag reverse painted
Beautiful Moe Bridges lamp base. With a couple issues. Lamp needs to be rewired. Has some paint loss on the bottom base. There is a small crack in the bottom base see pictures. c1920 Phoenix Reverse Painted Slag Lamp Art Deco Pittsburgh Pairpoint Handel Era
DESCRIPTION- This is an excellent reverse painted lamp by Phoenix Studios c1920. I always like pieces like this that cross the line between art nouveau and art deco. It has a beautifully simple floral decor that scrolls over a soft white background. The base has art deco lines but retains its naturalistic form like a machine that grew from the ground. No chips or cracks in the glass. Lamp is in good working condition. It has a few fleabites where the glass touches the shade rest but are not noticeable. Great overall patina.
