This is an exceptional table lamp in the style of Oscar Bach(1884-1957) He was a master of metalwork who came to Germany in 1911 to New York. He was one of the most noted figures in the field of decorative arts in the first half of the 20th century. Oscar Bach was commissioned by many wealthy individuals. And also did custom work for the Empire State Building, Yale University and the Procurement Division of the U.S. Treasury Division, among others. This lamp has no known makers marks on it. It is made primarily of cast iron and has a possible faux mica type finish on the enclosed shade. It appears to be all original( the underside of the lamp shade may have been painted or it may be the original paint) There appears to be no repairs, damage or missing parts. Up for your consideration is a restored and rewired Torchiere floor lamp. It was made between 1900- 1940 and is made from steel and cast iron. It was made in a time when quality mattered and was designed to last a lifetime and now it will last another lifetime. Because of newer electrical standards the. It is 60-1/2” high with a 14-1/2” diameter shade. Because of its size the lamp will have to be slightly unassembled for shipping. The base will have to be undone but will simply have to be threaded back on. No tools or rewiring will be necessary. And the lamp shade will have to be sent separately at my cost, not yours. This lamp has a floral print in pink and peach colors with accents of blue and green on both original milk glass globes. Rare rectangular shaped Colonial Prisms. Each 4" long, dangle from the large milk glass shade. A full 29" long(from top of fixture to tip of base) and 14" wide(at its widest point) makes this light fixture a sizable showpiece. A brass linked chain offers a way to customize the hanging length. Although the appearance is of an oil light, this light fixture is entirely electric. It has the original cloth covered wiring and it works(although with lighting of this age, rewiring would be recommended) The globes look amazing when lit. Vintage antique lamp marble carved deco nouveau 1900-1940 boudoir 10" cream EVC
Beautiful estate find-old marble lamp in wonderful condition. See all pics for lovely design. To me it looks carved but I am not an expert. I see no maker's mark unless there is one underneath the green felt on the bottom. The cord is original but the socket is newer. Measures 10" high without the socket and the base is just under 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. Weighs almost 4 pounds. There are a few wee nicks at the base corners and one on the top edge of the base(see pics) Very typical of this type of item and do not take away from anything(in my opinion) Lovely deep ivory color. I have not seen another lamp quite like this and am happy to offer it today! Thanks! Antique 1900-1940's Phoenix Glass Company Reverse Painted Lamp Pink Hue
Up for sale is a gorgeous ANTIQUE PHOENIX GLASS COMPANY lamp featuring a reverse painted glass shade. It is in working condition as demonstrated in the pictures. The base could use some cleaning up but there does not appear to be any significant damage on either the base or the shade. From bottom of the base to the top of the finial. It stands 23 inches tall. The shade is 16 inches in diameter. I don’t know much about the lamp. I have tried researching it but have not found much information online regarding the company. The“1876” mark on the bottom seems to be a hallmark of the Phoenix Company, though. It has been in my family for years(it belonged to my father’s grandmother) so it is probably from the early 1920’s, perhaps earlier. I am noticing that most of these converted oil lamps from the 20's that I am seeing.only have the one globe. There are no chips or cracks on the globes but they do have some very tiny white specks of white paint(as seen in the photos)mostly on side that would have faced a wall. I noticed them only after I had photographed the lamp. It is approximately 16 1/2" tall. It has a marble base that does have some small chips(see photos) I did not plug it in as the original wiring is faulty and needs to be rewired. IT COULD BE VARNISH OR FRENCH POLISH(ALTHOUGH FRENCH POLISH USUALLY PROVIDES A VERY HIGH GLOSS FINISH) REGARDLESS, IT IS SEMI-GLOSS AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE FIVE FILIGREE SEGMENTS IN THE UPPER CROWN APPEAR TO BE CAST BRONZE. THEY ARE HELD TOGETHER IN A CIRCULAR FORM BY SHAPED AND ASSEMBLED METAL STRAPS. THE METAL STRAPS ALSO HOLD THE LIGHTING ELEMENTS. THE LIGHTING ELEMENTS ARE FOR CURRENTLY STANDARD LIGHT BULBS. IT APPEARS THAT THE METAL STRAPS WERE RUBBED(OR PAINTED) A BRONZE COLOR TO MATCH THE CAST METAL SEGMENTS. THE PAINT HAS WORN IN SOME AREAS ON THE STRAPS AND THERE ARE A FEW SCRATCHES. CERTAIN PARTS OF THE CAST BRONZE FILIGREES HAVE BEEN RUBBED WITH RED AND GREEN COLORING. THE RUBBING IS VERY SUBTLE. THE WIRING IS IN GOOD CONDITION. I DO NOT KNOW WHEN IT WAS DONE OR WHO DID IT. THE CORD HAS A ROCKER SWITCH FOR ON AND OFF. THE CORD IS ABOUT 6-FEET LONG. I HAVE SEARCHED THE INTERNET FOR A SIMILAR OR MATCHING FLOOR LAMP BUT WITHOUT SUCCESS. AS COMPARED TO SOME EXPENSIVE FLOOR LAMPS. HOWEVER, MY LAMP IS REASONABLY PRICED.

Appears to have been a lamp 7/16" hole in base where the brass post attached. There is some wear from the post and attaching hardware.

Hand painted signed art deco lamp with handles porcelain 1900-1940 floral
This is a beautiful porcelain lamp.Its hand painted with the old fashion style flowers.The handles are beaded and painted gold in the art deco style.There is an embossed leaf pattern towards the bottom with a gold stripe.The flowers are multi colored.Mostly roses,and it is signed but the signature got worn in the middle.All i can say for sure is it ends in(all)There is another leaf border by the top.It does say Wescal#7 on the very top,but i dont know if this is the maker or just the brass maker.Its topped off with a beautiful green glass phinial.There are no chips or cracks,but there is a little paint loss and crazing due to age.It looks good as is or would restore nicely.22 inches tall.

Antique Tiffany table lamp. Beautiful multi-colored stained glass shade. It has a new light fixture and has the origional cord with a bronze stem. It was made in the 1930's or early 1940's and said to be signed or marked. The shade has a tiny burn spot at the top that occured when it had a 3 bulb fixture. When the lamp was recalled a single bulb switch was installed and marked to restore the lamps origional value.

It is above average as far as bridge lamp go and stands 57” tall. It does have one minor imperfection. At the back of the lamp about half way up there is a minor ding on the back of the long standing rod. I do not believe that it takes away for the great look of the piece and I am sure you will agree. It cannot be seen when it is at the back. Because of the height of the lamp it will have to be taken apart for shipping. The upper arm of the lamp and the base have to be loosened of and will just have to be re- attached. No tools necessary.

Antique Chinese Carved Soapstone Lamp 1900-1940
Beautiful intricately carved and pierced soapstone. The very bottom appears to be heavy cast iron topped by dark brown soapstone which is topped by marble looking soapstone. It's carved into a bird and flowers and trees. Lamp standard is brass. Very well done. 24" high x 6" wide. 6.5 lbs. The pictures are a major part of the description. There is no damage that I can see. But it does need a good cleaning. Plugged it in and it works.

This company start selling kerosene in the first years of the twentieth century under the brand name Sunflower Kerosene. Petróleo Sunflower) and was the market leader until the forties of last century. It is very difficult to find in the antiques market a kerosene lamp like this one. The blue color and foot shape like this is not usual. In the diamond basis is written USE SUNFLOWER We can observe one little sunflowers on the top of the font. And also the Vacuum Oil Company logo. A beautiful bronze Champleve-style lamp from the 1920s-30s. This gorgeous piece is 30" to the finial. And the actual lamp body is 20" tall and 9" at its widest point. The lamp is decorated with figurative and floral motifs with two hanging decorative urns. The main body is a tapering four-sided urn with a round four-footed base.
